Unbelievably, I had never been to Jersey Mike's before!! This location supports our local girls softball league so I've decided to try them out for the first time. I love their sandwiches!! We usually get the club with rosemary parmesan bread. Yum! I like that they slice all the meat fresh before making the sandwiches. I don't know if it's just me but it does feel a tad pricey to me, but not compared to other quick food options. I love the sandwiches, but Mike's way is just too wet with the vinegar and oil. I recommend getting the "juices"/sauces on the side. I ordered ahead of time of almost 2 hours, and all the sandwiches had requested the sauce on the side. All sandwiches were made incorrectly. If there is an option to customize, then the workers should acknowledge it. The workers did apologize, but they did turn the blame to whoever made the sandwich. I did not care for who was at fault, I just wanted to the correct sandwiches made. It does seem like this Jersey Mikes is not the best in comparison to others. In addition, there was no cookies, but offered a bag of chips instead. I asked if there would be some form of reimbursement since one is more expensive, but they said they could not do that. If there are any issues with orders, I would want the employees to contact and inform instead of being disappointed. The place was clean, parking is significant, the area is conveniently located in a small food plaza close to the neighborhoods. I have a love/hate relationship with this store. Generally the sandwiches are good (except the time I ended up with strings on my pepperoni) but I always order via the app and most of the time my order is late. Even when you sit there waiting they take care of all the walk-ups first which is pretty frustrating. I've seen other reviewers highlight the same issue yet these guys never seem to fix it. This jersey mikes restaurant is a good sized store with big bright windows and large aisles. The staff is friendly and works very fast to get your sandwich made. Today we had the chicken a giant Philly sandwich with peppers, onions and cheese. It is huge so it can usually feed two people. It was hot, freshly made and very flavorful. It's been my experience that custom sandwich shops would probably put more meat in their philly but overall it was fine. Jersey Mikes is known for their famous #13 Italian sandwich. The sandwich is packed with several types of Italian meats accompanied by cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and more. We like to get it "Mikes way!" Every time I come here, something is wrong with my order. I got a DoorDash order because I could not leave my work to pick it up. They Never read special requests, nor the modifications you make to your sandwich. I ordered a club sandwich with no oil and vinegar, added a special request on the "special request" line and said oil and vinegar on the side please. Got my order, had oil and vinegar right on the sandwich, took a bite... no bacon. Lunch ruined and can't go back to fox it. Poway rd location is way better. I accidentally chose this location in the app and didn't realize til after the fact. t's been in a year and I just hoped they fixed their ways. Nope. I went here last week and janelle was extremely patient and nice trying to find my order. I order here often and always online since I have a short lunch. I ordered online like normal and it switched to a different location. Tom the manager was in a meeting and over heard our conversation and took it upon himself to step aside and help me. They made my order right then and there. I was able to enjoy my food instead of having to rush over to another location. I loved this location already but this just made it even better. Absolutely ridiculous customer service from an Assistant Manager at this location. This store is located in a business center in Poway, meaning there will be businesses that put in decent sized orders for company meetings. We ordered a catering box with chips, soda's and cookies, 2 giant subs that we asked to be wrapped in 4's and 3 regular subs. The order was to be ready in an hour (12p). My coworker and I showed up to grab the order a few minutes early, we were not rushing as we knew we were early. We told the nice girl at the counter we were there to pick up our order, she told another worker and then an employee turns around and VERY loudly says "OH, you mean the abnormally large order you guys put in? Yeah we're still working on that!". My coworker and I looked at eachother, as that was completely unprofessional and out of line. There were other customers in the store, that was totally not okay. So that same employee started to bring out our order and set it on the ledge behind the chips. He started by bringing out a rather large box with a hole ripped into the side of it and set it on the wall, this box had our 14 bags of chips in it and the container of cookies tossed in. We have ordered from Jersey Mikes for years at the other location and they always let us choose our chips, these were pre-selected and only Original Lays...didn't ask if we wanted another type. I don't know why the chips couldn't be put into a paper bag like the rest of the extra's were? A box is a bit obnoxious and definitely not professional for us to bring back to the workplace for our customers meeting. We asked for a bag and ended up putting all the chips and container of cookies into that, and switched out the chips for different kinds. When we left and got back to our work, we took out the Giant subs that were cut and wrapped individually as asked, except we didn't know which was which. Usually when subs are wrapped in the individual paper bags, whoever is packing the sandwich will write the number of the ordered sandwich on the paper bag. They specifically took a pink marker and wrote the number of the sandwich on the blue Jersey Mikes Logo. It's NEVER written there any other time we've ever ordered at any Jersey Mikes, this was definitely intentional, I will put a picture below. From the comment made about the "abnormally large order" we placed and the obnoxiously large box that 14 bags of chips didn't even fill a quarter of the way and the way the sandwich number was written... someone definitely was NOT happy about the order we placed. There was also avocado missing from 2 of the sandwiches we ordered as well, which is almost $2 extra per sandwich. This could've been an honest mistake but at this point, I'm not so sure. We called and asked if there was a manager onsite that we could speak to, they said only the Assistant Manager was in, so I asked when the manager will be in next and they said 7/20 at 10a, the name to ask for was Shane. I called today, 7/20, asked for Shane and was told he isn't coming in today but that there was another "manager" onsite, so I asked to speak to them. It almost sounded like the same person on the phone so not sure if that's what was happening, but anyways, I start to voice my concerns about yesterday's order. This employee started to be argumentative on the phone, at this point I had to ask "Do you happen to be the person I'm talking about from yesterday?" and he admitted it was, he said "I'm sorry you feel that way, it wasn't intentional." Okay, but it definitely was. Either way, this individual should NOT be a manager of any sort if this is how he's going to speak to customers that place large orders, OR if this is how he handles customer situations. He said that Shane would be in tomorrow (7/21) from 7:30a-4:30p. I will definitely be voicing my concerns to Shane whenever possible, at this point I'm not sure if the information I'm being given is accurate/true. I will also be calling corporate as this experience is the worst we've ever had. I didn't think I'd find a better or comparable JMS to the Penasquitos location. I'm so glad we did today. Friends wanted to grab a quick lunch in the area so we all agreed to meet at the JMS in Poway/Scripps Ranch. They're easy to find as they share the same plaza at Starbucks. They have front outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating. Ordering is the same as other locations. You look up at menu, tell guy what you want, and they make the sandwich in front of you. Then you pay. Make sure to look for coupons as we used a buy 2 get 1 free voucher today! We ordered: Philly cheese steak (#99) - - it's a #99 b/c friend didn't want mushrooms. His giant sub had steak, cheese, jalapenos, mayo. The bread was so soft and delicious. The hot steak/cheese/etc warmed up the bread and just made this entire sandwich amazing. Club sandwich with bacon : - turkey, bacon, provolone, avocado. They were nice to put the avocado on the side for me. The sandwich was well made and tasted hearty. The extra onions were crisp and sweet. Club sandwich: - same as above but no bacon. Also ordered the giant size. The giant size here is large. I would suggest ordering that (especially if you have a coupon) and saving the rest of the sandwich for another meal (as me and friend did). The other friend easily finished his philly cheesesteak sammy (with our help) but the other two we took home. Staff was great. The nice gentleman helped package up our leftovers and even gave me an extra small to go container of the peppercinis. I wish I got his name as he was super cool and nice. More like a three and a half star rating. The cheesesteak was tender, juicy, and tasty. Needed allot more grilled onions and peppers to be close to a real Cheesesteak though. For the price charged they could be a little moe generous with the fixings. A bit pricy for just meat and cheese. The meat was very good though and there was lots of it and cheese too. Placed a phone order today. Should have known something will go wrong cause the reception on the call was bad. Arrived 25 minutes after order and the placed was swamped. A female worker asked for my name and replied they are working on my order. I can clearly see they haven't started my order. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes in store waiting while I watch them cook the hot sandwiches. I understand they are busy with phone, online and in person orders. All 4 workers working hard. I'm writing this reviews to let management know if your store is busy please let your phone order customers know there will be a time delay and one should come later? They put it on the sandwich which isn't a big deal and I let it slide. We ordered the Turkey and Provolone #7 and I opted for a bag of Sun Chips and a lemonade. This costed $14.99. The sandwich had a decent amount of meat and cheese and all of the toppings were fresh. I've been to multiple Jersey Mike's locations and it's a consistently great sandwich shop. I much prefer them to Subway and love the freshness of the bread, meats and cheeses. My personal favorite is the turkey with Swiss subbed for provolone and Mike's Way without the onions. I was skeptical about having a sub without mayo and mustard on my first visit but immediately fell for the olive oil and vinegar blend. It provides plenty of moisture to the sandwich. This location is clean and bright and the workers were friendly and quick. No complaints at all! read more

I usually love jersey mikes but the last couple of times I have come to this certain location I have been completely disappointed.... Today I picked up my order and when I got home my husbands sandwich looked really sad... hardly any meat on it ( usually it's packed with meat). My sandwich had a hair in it and the bread was so soggy that I couldn't even eat the part that did not have the hair in it. Very disappointed and very poor quality. read more

I love Jersey Mike's Subs. Never had problems at multiple locations. Unfortunately my last two visits at the Poway location off Scripps Poway Pkwy is a problem. The last visit was mind boggling. I put in a mobile app order (Ticket #01-000703-99-067464) on 04/30/22. Confirmed at 1:13pm with email stating it will be ready by 1:28pm. I arrive at 1:34pm. The order is not on the rack so I ask the cashier only team member (only works the register) about my order. She states it hasn't been done yet and someone will get to it but she doesn't look closely at the order and showed no sense of urgency. I walk outside to make a call. I return and none of the six workers were at the grill cooking my Cheesesteak order at 1:38pm. I raised my voice and stated why hasn't anyone started cooking the order. Then a young tall male lead from the back told me he would do it. The order was done by 1:43pm. That's 15 minutes late over the promised time of completion and 30 minutes late from confirmation of the order. I am so angry about it because out of the kindness of my heart I prepaid a 20% tip. I already contacted Jersey Mike's via the online form but I have not heard back yet. Never again at this JM location. read more

This store has been one of the best places I have had the pleasure of working at. Willing to train me quickly as well as cooperate with my outside schedule, I am very grateful for the time, though short, I spent here. I am leaving for Marine Corps basic training on October 7th and, this amazing store was kind enough to help me earn some extra needed cash.
