    #17 cheesesteak the best!!
    Tiffany F.

Just the best!! Worth going on route 1 out of your way for it haha. So happy when they built this location. The staff are very friendly. When my kids were babies (they have food allergies) we would go in and ask for just a slice or 2 of extra turkey on the side for them and they would give free of charge. As for the food - the club sub and Italian Omg so good (I don't care for tomato's or onions too much but I order them mikes way every time!) and as for their Cheesesteak (#17) it's my opinion that's it's my favorite cheesesteak ever!! Better than any cheesesteak place in Philly, any other fancy cheesesteak restaurants, seriously the best I've ever had flavor wise! I love their points system too for regular customers.

    Turkey and Provolone Sub

We ordered lunch from here for work. Someone went to get the food and returned. I thought it was a general sub- type place and was unsure how good it would be since I never had it before. And I'm not normally a sub/hoagie kinda girl I ordered a turkey and provolone sub- and it was pretty good. The ingredients were fresh. Other co-workers enjoyed their sandwiches as well If they ordered again- I would order :)

Stopped in for lunch I was the second person in line it was slow ....placed my order ....went back to work and was surprised at how small my 10 dollar sandwich was filled with lettuce...and no meat ....I really like this spot becuse of the bread .. .but the portion control training is needed What a disappointment Insted of focusing on a tip ....get the spec sandwich right

Normally, when I'm in the mood for a hoagie or other sandwich I had for Wawa, but not today.

This is the best place to get a sandwich on this side of New Jersey! They have imported ingredients…read moreand make their roast beef and fresh mozzarella in house, bake the bread, and their menu has something for everyone. What i love most is the service - everyone is Italian and they speak Italian to during breaks - very polite, friendly, fast, and they know how to build a sandwich. This place is worth 100 stars - must try for anyone looking for real Italian food for now or to heat up for dinner.

Very impressed with my first visit to D'Angelo's! I was in town for the Princeton graduation…read morefestivities, and we stopped here for lunch following the ceremonies. D'Angelo Italian Market is located a few blocks away from the Princeton campus. It is a corner store with some street parking around, along with a parking garage right across the street. I have been told parking is strictly enforced by the city around here, so make sure to pay for street parking when you go. The inside is that of an Italian deli and market, but more. There is seating inside, and also some outdoor tables. There is not table service, but you order at the counter and then can enjoy your meal. We had a part of 7, and were able to push a few tables together inside to eat. They have a ton of deli options, but also have baked goods, breads, and pizza slices that you can buy from the counter. Additionally, there is a large menu of other food items that are made to order. There are also cooler drinks to choose from. The staff were all so friendly. It appears they know their frequent customers, and they greet them as they come in. Though I was a new customer, I felt welcomed and thought all of my questions were answered in a kind manner. We ordered several items, with one being the Eggplant Rollatini for an appetizer. This was so good, as I love eggplant in Italian dishes. It was filled with cheese, but still crispy and delicious even in all the sauce. We ordered more rolls than what is on the menu since we had several people. Additionally, we sampled several of the pizza slices - Margherita Pizza, Parmigiana Pizza, Vodka Sauce Pizza. I enjoyed each of them. The crust is thin and crispy, as you would expect from a place like this. They were all good, but the classic Margherita was probably my favorite. For my sandwich, I got the Turkey Supreme Hero. It was really good and had a ton of meat on it. I love a good turkey sandwich, and this was exactly that. After seeing what the sandwiches on the rolls looked like, I probably would have gotten that instead of the Hero. Nonetheless, it was still very good. Our table got some other items, like the Princeton Tiger Hero, Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, and a Pepperoni Roll. No one had anything they did not enjoy. Did not get the chance to try either the desserts or any of the all day breakfast items. The next time I visit, I would definitely want to try some of those menu items! Like I said, I very much enjoyed my first visit to D'Angelo's. Everything was delightful, the staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. I hope to visit again next time I am in the area. Would highly recommend stopping here!

At first, walking in gave me a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of the Olives I used to visit in New York City. While it's not the same restaurant, this one absolutely stands on its own. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had a kale salad loaded with vegetables and all kinds of good things like pecans, carrots, red cabbage, chick peas and more...he loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially for how good the food was. We took our meals to go and walked down the street to a picnic table, which made for a perfect, relaxed lunch in Princeton. Great food, great value, and a spot I'd happily return to. There were also some really good desserts to pick from as well, but I passed them up. Pro tip... there can be a line to order your food during busy times of the day.
