One got the veal francaise and the other got a turkey wrap with french fries. Overall, the food was very good. I encountered a slight issue with one of the pieces of chicken. It was still slightly pink on part of it. I let the staff know, and Maria came out and apologized. She had us pick a dessert no charge. My coworker who had the veal said it was slightly tough, but still flavorful. Had my chicken been pounded thin it would've alleviated any under cooking. I digress. Our front door faces the street that intersects with our address. We are on a corner so the garage is on one side and the front door is on the other. My directions are extremely clear and no NO NO driver ever reads them. (I've watched Delivery people wander up and down the pathways in the complex here in bitter cold weather rather than directions it might offer clue to where they're going.) The same person who made my sandwich also rang me up -- without changing his gloves. He touched the register screen, bags, counters, and who knows what else, all with the same gloves he used to make my food. Then he went right back to preparing sandwiches... still no glove change. So I calmly walked over to the manager, who had already seemed pretty dismissive when I walked in. I could tell that he wasn't interested in any niceties with me, since he was saving them for the non-minority make that walked in after me. I said, "You may want to let him know that he needs to change his gloves." The manager asked, "Why?" I explained, "Because he made my sandwich, checked me out, touched the screen, and then went back to making sandwiches." His response? "Did he touch cash?" I replied, "Why does that matter?
