chicken and rice in a styrofoam container

This place is one of top cost effective restaurant on budget. Whenever my family goes to quakerbridge mall, this is a must visit to save money. I think the basic terryaki is the best menu.

Tastless chicken teriyaki on a bed of dry rice and vegetable slop

They hand out chicken as you walk along. This tastes quite nice, but dont fall for it! The lady handing out chicken hands you a coupon, is polite and tells us you can supplement the meal with shrimp. The cashier does not seem to speak English and simply yells "no shrimp", I get the other lady who then gets yelled at by the cashiere. The cashier then tells at me again "no shrimp, no shrimp". I give up. When the food gets made the old chicken on the side gets mixed up with the fresh chicken. Yuck! The chicken I got was tasteless and was on a bed of dry white rice and gets supplemented by this disgusting bitter vegetable...slop On the other side of the mall is Master Wok. The sign says "The better choice", trust me! It really is!

    Teriyaki lunch special
    Monica K.

After a super long day of shopping, my mom and I decided to get some food at the new food court in Menlo. Sarku Japan had a really good lunch special deal, and you could see that they were freshly making all the food (the grill was near the counter). For the price, we got some rice, with fresh vegetables and amazing teriyaki chicken. Every time I go shopping here this will be my go- to place for lunch!

Food tastes bland and the fountain drinks taste like flavored water. Not to mention their attitude and rudeness.

We came here with a Saturday night reservation for the Kotobuki Omakase option. The team at Naoki sushi all works very well together and the entire experience was super special and went very smoothly. I love the simple atmosphere and decor, it is relaxing, bright and very authentically Japanese. There wasn't a single thing that wasn't delicious in its own way. The fish was super fresh and I'm still dreaming about the melt-in-your-mouth uni. You can tell that you get what you pay for here in terms of quality.

This place is small and intimate with only 8 sushi bar seats and 8 table seats. A great vibe and ambiance to watch your sushi chef expertly prepare your meal. Unfortunately, a couple decided to bring their small children that were talking very loudly and had occasional screams. There is a place and time to bring your kids dining and fine dining isn't one of them. Our favorite appetizer was the chanwanmushi! They packed so much umami into such a small dish and the texture of the egg was like silken tofu. My husbands favorite piece of nigiri was the otoro as the tuna was so fatty and just melted in your mouth. Mine was the uni spoon which was a small dish of uni, ikura, caviar, and rice. The hand rolls were a highlight too! After the 6 courses are done you're able to order ala carte and I'm so glad I got an ikura hand roll. Service is impeccable and everyone was very kind and thoughtful. Overall a great experience and an omakase spot we would come back to.

Every table has its own digital panel to order and the food comes to your table via a conveyor on top. You can see all sorts of food options and you can pick it off the turntable or just order something that looks great from the menu. Made fresh. I enjoyed my sushi roll so much. We ordered so many plates. I ordered a edamame also and a taiyaki for desert. The iced green tea was magnificent. I enjoyed the food that I ordered. I have to say there is a little robot that will deliver your drink and that is cute. What a cute idea. Thanks for all the people who were hard to give us quite a unique dining experience. Personal Hint: When finished eating the soup. Wash and save the colander and bowl. Use it to wash fruits, veggies off and then store in refrigerator in the colander thus preventing the fruit sitting directly on the bottom of the container getting mushy Since it was picked up and delivered to me the soup was still hot and very flavorful. I have been to this restaurant before and know that their service is very prompt as they have kiosks to order your food and then they prepare it for either dine in or out. This place from visiting prior is very bright and always clean. I think personally, it is good to have kiosks in this restaurant as there is a plethora of different dishes and prevents minimal confusion. Very nice place and definitely return. Thank you.

I want Bulgogi and it's impossible to find in a fast casual atmosphere. So I got the spicy beef bulgogi bento. Rice was basic sticky rice, the gyoza dumplings were greasy and crispy flavor was good. Seafood salad was good but extremely sparse i wanted more. Kimchi was too fresh. (If you know Kimchi you will relate) the bulgogi was exactly what i was hoping for. Very good. I added the house boba milk tea. It was also as I hoped. Although the portions were small they add up so I felt satisfied and will definitely return. Worth a try if you know this type of cuisine and go to experience something healthier and different from burgers, pizza or fried chicken. I'll be back

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else. I was told the have two locations: Philadelphia and the one we're dining at, Princeton Junction, NJ. Both locations serve homemade recipes from the Kumamoto region of Japan.
