these sandwiches are the best, if they can get your order right. Went there 2 times, and had a problem both times. The first time I ordered a cheesesteak, and didn't even bother to ask me what I wanted on it. When they gave it to me, I pointed this out, and they responded with "well this is the way we normally make them". They did, however, make another sandwich for me. Second time, they did ask specifically what I wanted on it, but made it wrong anyway. I specified provolone cheese, but they made it with white american. Again, they remade the sandwich for me with not problems. I want to point out that I have visited various locations for these stores, and have not had issues at anyone but this one. read more

So the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because Jersey Mikes is delicious. HOWEVER, I'm currently sitting and waiting for my food after I placed an online order. My order was due to be picked up at 2:33pm it's now 2:43 and they haven't even started on my order yet. This is the second time IN A ROW that this has happened. GLUTEN FREE BREAD! I am celiac, and it is very difficult finding places to eat. They have gluten free bread and it is very good! Not only that, but they are very knowledgeable about what items are gluten free for the sandwiches and take proper protocol to decrease chances of cross contamination. I'm surprised at the negative reviews here, as I love their subs. I guess those that have a good experience don't tend to post positive reviews, so all you get to see is the negative. Well, don't believe it. The food is great, staff friendly and fast. This place is on my way to work, so when I'm in a hurry for food, I eat here. A 5-star review was posted today by Kevin Hogan, who happens to be an employee of this location. Kevin made my sub last week and was extremely pleasant with a great smile, which is why I am flabbergasted he would personally take such offense about my feedback as a customer. I have been a loyal customer and spent hundreds of dollars at this location. Keep in mind that I don't mind the charge so much as the fact that they never informed me there was a charge. If Kevin Hogan cannot handle honest, constructive feedback, he is displaying a level of un-professionalism I have not yet seen at this location. I am sure he does not have authority to speak on behalf of the franchise owners, but the fact that he submitted a review and did not include his affiliation as being an employee, demonstrates that he was willing to conceal his bias. He also sent me the following critical, private response which he cloaked as a "compliment" in order to encourage me to read it without hesitation: "I have been there when this lady you're talking about has been working and she has been nothing but pleasant and kind. And I'm pretty sure I've been there when you were there and if you're who I think you are you ordered triple cheese. Like what you think cheese grows on trees lady? The staff at this certain location has been nothing but top notch and helpful. I love this place. P.S. - cheese doesn't help to moisten things lol" The fact that he is bold and impolite enough to refer to me as "lady" when he asked me if I thought cheese grew on trees, indicates that he does not care about representing the reputation of this Jersey Mike's franchise ethically or responsibly. My original review did not mean that I would no longer visit, but Kevin Hogan's rude and unprofessional response certainly creates an unpleasant atmosphere. If he wants to carry out a fight on social media, he has not carefully considered how it will affect our future visits at this location. And, FYI, cheese does in fact add moisture due to its fat content. It is not for Kevin Hogan to decide what ingredients satisfy my palate. I caution anyone reading to consider Kevin Hogan's intentions as an employee. The female lead, Jasmine, I referred to in my original review is his supervisor. I never said she wasn't pleasant or kind, but she is strict and skimps on portions. Kevin Hogan certainly wouldn't say anything against his supervisor, and as a relatively new employee, likely hasn't seen every sub Jasmine has ever made for me. I have also shared these comments with Jersey Mike's headquarters and they are appalled by Kevin Hogan's mockery of my original complaint. They say that having an employee respond so rudely to a customer does a disservice to the franchise owner. read more

As a SoCal native transplanted to the East Coast, I can testify to the fact that most the very few positive aspects of the East Coast are represented in this restaurant--the bread and meats are fresh, the sandwiches are made to order, the staff is super efficient, but more importantly, super cheerful, and it's clear they work hard to keep the whole operation clean and optimized. I've been three times on my quick trip from the DC area because this place is as good as it gets. You want to sample the best of back East? 1. Can't get through to Customer Service at Corporate. Apparently, there's only one representative (Peggy) because they expect customer issues to be handled with each, individual franchise. 2. Lately, they have been overly frugal with their paper wrap to where the paper they cut is not big enough to wrap the sandwich. Then, they struggle to wrap it with the ends of the sandwich sticking out and the contents of the toppings spilling out. I've watched them on multiple occasions do this and then despite having the ends of my sandwich exposed, shove it into a bag while I look at the sandwich wrapper in dismay. I end up carrying out my brown paper sandwich bag with the end of the sandwich uncovered and poking out, hoping to get it home without spilling it in my car or having flies land on it. 3. Sometimes their shredded lettuce is fresh; sometimes it's not. Sometimes the lettuce is wilted and brown. If you ask them for fresh lettuce, they get another tub, then just dump the wilted brown stuff into the new tub and mix it around with the fresh, crisp, green new stuff. Then you don't have a choice. 4. You know the white core of the tomato that is hard and tasteless? Why even serve that? I get that their tomato slicer doesn't sort those parts out, but when building a sandwich and you see those slices of tomato that have that hard, tasteless, pale core, don't put that on the customer's sandwich! 5. (2-4) If they were the customers, they wouldn't want the paper wrap too short for the sandwich, the brown, wilted lettuce, or the unpleasant core of the tomato. So, why serve the customers this way? I asked and here's the answer I got to each of these concerns: "It's the OWNER. This is the OWNER'S policy." Sounds like a cheap owner who cuts corners to save pennies rather than focusing on quality. I'm sure the owner understands quality and wouldn't enjoy a sandwich either falling out of paper wrap because it's cut too short, or with brown, soggy lettuce, or with those hard, pale slices of tomato core. read more

I have frequented thos store since it opened a few years ago. My daughter's and I are vegetarians, however on occasion I do eat Tuna. I always order the kids meal with a veggie sandwich, so often that when my girls go in the store they ask are we getting veggies today? Staff have always been sweet and welcoming. This evening I went inside, the lady welcomed me, asked what. I wanted, and I said I needed to confirm a meal real quick. I then asked for two kids veggies, and Cortney Davos said they don't do kids veggies. I told her we always get veggie sandwiches, that my kids don't eat meat. She became rude, and of course that angered me. We had sandwiches the week before with no problem. I started to leave, then I asked the young man for the corporate number and her name. I was planning to complain about her lack of customer service. He said she was the owner, and I could not believe that. Then she came over and said I will not talk to her or her staff rude. I was not rude to her staff, she was rude to me. She did not want to provide me with the information I was asking for, which was her name and corporates number. She then told me not to come back to "her store." Why would I give money to someone that is rude. Worse experience ever. The one star is being generous. read more
