I have been to this establishment on numerous occasions. Let me start by saying that I highly enjoy Jersey Mike's subs. My review is really a comparison against other Jersey Mike's locations. This Jersey Mike's is easily the worst among the Jersey Mike's locations where I have purchased food. My last experience led me to write this review. I spent nearly 40 minutes inside the store waiting and then getting my order made. My wife likes the #13 in a tub (Italian) and I also like the #13 but the regular sub version. I told the guy making the order what I wanted on each and then I was ushered over to the paying register. I paid for the order and left. When I got back to my house I realized that my sandwich had been poorly made and it got everywhere. Worse than that though, my wife's sub in a tub hadn't been given the oil and vinegar that she loves on her Jersey Mike's order. I then had to drive back to this Jersey MIke's location where I was met with an eye roll when I talked about the incorrect nature of the order. Eventually the sub in a tub was remade, but no coupon or reimbursement was offered. I had to drive to the location twice. In addition to my wasted gas money, It ended up taking 90 minutes for me to get my wife her dinner. She was understandably, not a happy camper by the time her food got home. I didn't get to enjoy my sloppily made sub either. It got super soggy at home while I was out getting the order fixed. I have had better and expect better from a fine establishment like this. I'll update this review if things change, but I'm not certain that I even want to go back to this location after this latest debacle. read more

My mom & I went to pick up some subs yesterday for our family yesterday & this place is extremely unsanitary. The girl who was doing our subs had gloves on & in the middle of doing them she went to the computer grabbed it did something on it and continued doing our subs WITHOUT changing her gloves. This is disgusting specially now with this pandemic going on. They had left over lettuce on the counter and instead of throwing it away she put it back in the container. We got food poising today from how nasty the roast beef was. This is unacceptable. read more

I am so glad Jersey Mike's opened up by my house. I saw the grand opening sign and thought I would give this place a try. I was very happy to see and here the buzz happening during there lunch rush. That is always a good first sign. The assembly line of people that make the sandwiches are energetic, focused, diligent and welcoming. They slice your deli meats right in front of you to prepare your sandwich exactly as you want it. I will continue to frequent this restaurant and I highly recommend you try it too. I ordered a club sub because one of my close friends and coworkers says it's one of her favorite sandwiches here. We came here for a late lunch but it was super crowded at this location because it's the only one in the area that takes the real coupons (decent discounts) for jersey mikes. It was so busy, they had people waiting outside and said limit of 10 customers, but there were only 4-5 people inside. They were prioritizing phone orders instead of customers in the store, but it wasn't very smart because until we get our food and pay, we can't leave the store. One worker was really struggling to keep up with the demand. The sandwich was terrible, the worst sandwich I've eaten at here in years and I go here all the time. I wish I ordered a different sandwich and to be honest, I wish I went to a different location as the service wasn't good. I have been to several Jersey Mikes during covid in this area and in Orange County and the service is much more efficient elsewhere! read more

We love this place. And yes, they could move a little faster here but big whoop. So much better then subway and better then all the other fast food options we have here. It's so disappointing to read all of the bad reviews from people who say things like "we love jersey Mikes but tonight we had a problem...." or "we've always had good experiences at jersey Mikes except this one time..." it would be nice if people thought to leave good reviews as often as they think to leave a bad one. I am a huge jersey mikes fan been to a ton of them including the first one in jersey. Watching your sandwiches sit after you paid and had people leave after you because the guy forgot one of your sandwiches without even an acknowledgement of it is rude. I get it you guys get busy and I am used to waiting for a sandwich. But that was pretty rude and horrible customer service. read more

Jersey Mike's is my family's favorite sandwich shop. I thought during COVID-19 they would be closed. The employees are still working to make sure we all can still eat our favorite foods. The #26, sub in a tub is my favorite. The staff are always friendly, the food is always fresh, and its always clean. Now they have feet on the floor to ensure social distancing, require masks to enter, and have limited contact. They take it seriously and I feel comfortable going there still because of it. Love Jersey Mikes sandwiches but the wait time at this location is always so bad. I've come here a good amount of times and without fail there is at least a 10-25 minute wait time. Almost always understaffed. Have like 2 employees in the back preparing tomatoes and lettuce etc all the while there is a line forming with one guy helping customers. I get that it's fresh cut but they need to come up with better line procedures it's seriously ridiculous. read more

They pretend to leave the phone of hook so they don't have to deal with phone orders. No customer service skills whatsoever and the owner of this franchise needs to have secret shoppers so they can see what goes on in this store, especially with catering orders. The store manager Oliver is unprofessional and walked away from me while discussing my order pick up and I can't tell you the assistant managers name because she wouldn't give it to me. Sandwiches are good, but about $14 for a regular sized sub. The sandwiches are good but definitely not that good. Service is horrible, that's the only way to put it. My brother and I came here a few days after the Riverside location opened, and haven't went back since. We waited in line for close to 10 min, ordered our sandwiches and witnessed the huge pile of unorganized staff, there was so many staff members behind a tight working space, think in this case less is more. We had to wait for 2 not so fancy sandwiches for over 25 minutes! They have a terrible system, they were handing out the wrong sandwiches to people so people had to wait double the time for them to remake their right sandwich, that's why we had to wait so long. It was a huge waste of my time. So I spent close to 40 minutes there just getting a sandwich. Even if I have time to spare most likely skipping this place. read more

So, we love Jersey Mikes sandwiches but this was by far a bad experience which may prevent us from returning in the future. Placed a phone order for 2 hot sandwiches and one sub in a tub was told 15 minutes. Arrived to pick up order and was told it was ready.....unfortunately, only the sub in a tub was made and the 2 hot sandwiches had not even been started. This would be understandable if it was busy however, there was no one in the store and 3 workers just standing around. I was told I would need to wait but was asked to move to the side with no apology. Additionally, the shore points system was down, I requested my receipt to be put in the bag. I got home and NO RECEIPT so I cant even get credit. This is NOT the service I would expect from Jersey Mikes. We debated going to a different sandwich shop and will definitely do so next time...... read more

Usually ok service. On this day I placed my order via internet and when my wife arrived to pick it up 35 minutes later they had never started the order. I asked to speak with the manager and the manager (Alejandra) sounded like she was 15. She was very unapologetic. Completely unacceptable. If anyone else feels the same way about this place, please go to jersey Mikes website and leave feedback on the comment card section. The sandwich I had today was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. I got a #13 Mike's way. The #13 consists of about five meats! The basics are pepperoni, salami, Capicolla and such. Mike's way is what gives your sandwich an awesome flavor. Mike's way consists of lettuce, tomatoes, oil, red wine vinegar, and Italian spices. The prices are well worth the sandwich. Will always be my favorite sandwich on the go! read more

I used to love this place until I went in tonight. Young male employee was cleaning before closing and grabs the mop handle on the mop bucket to move to the side ....went behind the counter to start making our sandwich with the same gloves on! Been here a few times because of the food, definitely not because of the service. Like I said, the food is tasty, I like the bread and the ingredients are fresh. However, when it comes to the service, the employees are unpleasant, unsmiling, and a little on the rude side. There were 3 (yep, 3) employees in charge of wrapping up the sandwich, putting it in a bag, labeling the bag with the number, and ringing the customer up. Needless to say, my last experience resulted in an unpleasant (and most likely my last) visit. After I paid, while I was still signing the credit slip, hey were already ringing up the person after me. I wasn't given my sandwich or drink, which I had to reach over the customer behind me to get. The bag was labeled with a 13, but I ordered a 2. After I was told that it was a 2 and that the bag was incorrectly labeled, I went ahead and took the sandwich out to check. Last thing I want is to get home with the wrong sandwich and not be able to eat my lunch. The cashier asked in a rude way, "You don't believe me?" I basically told her no, not really. With all the employees working at the register, there easily could have been a mistake made. Another negative experience I witnessed: an older customer was being asked if he wanted it "Mike's Way". He had a hearing aid and didn't understand what she was saying, even after she repeated it and raised her voice. I agree with another reviewer on here...if you're not a regular, you won't have any idea what "Mike's Way" is. And instead of raising her voice and looking irritated, the employee could have just asked what the customer wanted in his sandwich. This was the second bad experience I have had at this restaurant. The first time, I chocked it up to the fact that they were newly opened. Now, with months of experience, it doesn't seem to have gotten better. If you order a standard sub, I guess it was okay. I made the mistake of ordering grilled vegies with bacon wrap. This was beyond their comprehension. What k got was grilled vegies with jalapeño ( I did not ask for jalapeño ) I got NO bacon at all but i did get a what seemed like a huge slab of cheese. It was huge. Who would thst dripping cheese mess in a solidified wad. It was disgusting. We had not gone here in a while. Now I remember why, run by teenagers who could not a job anywhere else because they don't listen and don't care. Hey management, other locations seem to be able to function properly. Coming to this Jersey Mikes today was like watching a car crash in progress. There were only 3 employees up front most of the time; 1 on the meat cutter, 1 on toppings and 1 on the register. There was a group of people here to get phone orders who waited over ten minutes while their orders were confused with other orders. The girl on the cutter would take your order and put meat on the bread but between the two high school kids on toppings and register the orders would get confused and the line got longer. Then the two guys switched spots mid order which made even more confusion. There eventually became a long line of people mad to be waiting so long and another group of pick up folks equally made at their wait. They definitely need more people for the Sunday lunch rush and the guy making the sandwiches needs to do 1 at a time, not 4-5 so he can keep the orders straight. This Mikes is always slow but today I was extremely disappointed with our service. After a 15 min wait in line we ordered our subs and while the "assistant manager" was adding the toppings to our subs she was asked for Pepperoncinis from another customer. I didn't mind waiting but she proceeded to grab peppers and then went back to making our sandwiches without wiping her hands or changing her gloves. After she finished I politely made a suggestion that she should have changed her gloves or rinsed her gloves before finishing our sandwiches. I told her that I know people are allergic to pepperoncinis and that could have been a problem, luckily I'm not but she got so upset at my suggestion. She raised her voice and said, " If you had an allergy you should have told us before we made your sandwich... and that all the toppings are mixed and are potentially allergens.. I said, "yes you're right but peppers are a stronger allergen and direct contact with peppers onto a sandwich poses a higher risk than just a little mixing as you make the sandwiches." She continued in raised voice saying " She didn't appreciate me telling her how to do her job and that she didn't need to switch gloves because it wasn't a food violation..." I like the sandwiches, they are a little overpriced but I enjoy them. Ordering on line is a great convenience, just enter your information and go pick up the order. That not the way it works at this Jersey Mikes, in about a dozen online orders about 1/3 were ready when stated, 1/3 I had to wait for them and about 1/3 were not even started then I went to pick them up. Today (6/13/16) was particularly annoying I was given a 35 min pick up time (never had a time that long before), arrived at the restaurant and my order hadn't been started and there was one other customer in the shop.
