    Brisket Sandwich
    Katie G.

This review was a difficult one for me to pick between 2 and 3 stars . The customer service was awkward and unhelpful. It was 6:20 am but still at these very high prices for small bagels you expect to be helped in a friendly manner. The bagel shop is adorable and very clean. The bagels are small and overpriced. Almost $5 for 1 small bagel and cream cheese. I had the brisket sandwich for 8.50 . It was tiny , i will say it was tasty and a solid 4 stars.

Decided to visit this place for breakfast today, and I enjoyed the experience! The service was great, and on top of that, the food was really good. I ordered a classic egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich on their 5 cheese bagel. The bagel itself was really tasty, and the egg and cheese were fresh. However, the bacon was crispy, with a nice smoky flavor, adding a great element to the sandwich. Overall, it was solid! However, the restaurant wasn't very clean since they share the same building with Burger King so that was unfortunate but overall, this place is worth visiting.

Finally this joint restaurant opened in the area. The residents of Mira Mesa have been waiting a long time for Brueggars and Burger King to open. This is a shared restaurant and the drive thru is dedicated to BK. Bagels have limited hours so check the website or the window for its hours. We have tried the bagels on several occasions. I was happy that they offered chocolate chip bagels but very limited and they don't make more if they run out which sucks because my kids love chocolate chip bagels. I have tried the plain, wheat, salmon, and cinnamon sugar. All have been good. My fave is the smoked salmon bagel as an sandwich. At almost $9, the sandwich is pretty filling and the one I ate was fresh and the bagel was toasted nicely. Def recommend! The hazelnut coffee was weak IMO but I'm more of a strong, bold, and dark roast girl. There is a dark roast available but it was out and they needed to make more. Good place to pick up some bagels and if you don't feel like bagels you can just walk over to BK.

Although it's a chain, I'm excited to have a bagel shop in Mira Mesa! I got the Western Breakfast Sandwich on an everything bagel which was a filling and flavorful sandwich. I thought the bell peppers were an interesting addition to the bagel but it was all still good. There is seating inside, a large menu of pre-fixed items but obviously you can custom order too. Lots of bagel and cream cheese options as well. Located in a huge strip mall so parking is easy, attached to the Burger King.

Stopped by Bruegger's Bagels in Mira Mesa. This location is attached to the Burger King (they share a lobby). I ordered a Pastrami bagel on rosemary bagel and a hazelnut iced coffee. I love that each bagel sandwich is made to order. Pros: -free parking lot -variety of bagel sandwiches -Wi-Fi available from Burger King -staff still wear a mask -restroom available inside -there is a decent amount of seating options Cons: -n/a Tip: -not sure if it was where I was sitting but it gets cold. Bring a jacket if you plan to dine in.

Great bagel shop that I visit frequently. The bagels are tasty, decent size and affordable. Today I ordered a smoked salmon bagel. Drove home to realize I received a plain cream cheese bagel. I understand that people make mistakes. So I returned to fix my order. When I returned to let the manager Jennifer know my order was wrong. She had the nerve to tell me that she didn't believe me. So Jennifer took my bagel... looked through it like a private investigator. Then threw it in the trash. She then asked me what I ordered with an attitude of disgust as if I tried to scam her salmon. I was actually baffled at how she replied to me since I wasn't complaining or asking for anything extra. I just wanted my original order. I had a moment where I felt like I was being pranked, waiting for the TV crew to come out any minute with a lifetime supply of Bruegger's bagels. But nope I was wrong, it was just Jennifer making my new bagel without gloves and purposely putting 1 caper on each half of the bagel... I was lucky to have my own capers at home. It is official that I will now be visiting Donut Touch across the street. They use high quality ingredients like Boars Head. They do cost a few extra bucks but it is well worth your money.

Never had the food at this location before so I didn't really expect much. But once I got my order, I was amazed. Staff is friendly and welcoming to customers. The interior of the place is good for seating and that there is plenty of space. I will definitely come back again! The Sriracha Honey Sunrise was definitely the highlight. It was like flavors bursting in my mouth and sriracha with cream cheese? It may sound weird but it is actually really good. It's not too overpowering.

There were so many sandwiches, cheesecakes, and bakery items to choose from that I had a hard time deciding. The staff was so kind and recommended some items. My favorite was definitely the greenhouse sandwich. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the bagel was warmed just right. I also tried a few bakery items. The double matcha canelé had a great texture with a crisp exterior and soft interior, but my absolute favorite was the double early grey financier. The earl grey flavor really stood out and made it the winner for me. I also tried the yuzu cheesecake, but honestly, it didn't taste too different from the lime cheesecakes I've had elsewhere. The cafe has plenty of tables and chairs, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your time chatting with a friend or working/studying. Overall, this place literally made my Saturday morning perfect, and I would definitely come back as a regular on weekends.

We went around 1pm on a Saturday and it there was seating space and no line. Glad it's not overcrowded. Aesthetics The aesthics are a trendy style of light wood, minimalism neutrals, and metals accents with the dishware and chairs. The menu is Korean inspired, and reminds me of the trendy cafes in South Korea. They have plants from The Plant Daddies that I really adore. This is the kinda place I'd love to come and journal or work on my laptop Food & Drink What I like is that you can adjust the sweetness of the drinks, you just have to ask. Matcha latte - 25% sweetness, I can actually taste the matcha, which is rare for San Diego. Injeolmi matcha - 50% sweet, I can taste the injeolmi flavor but it's not overpowering so a good balance Sweet rum flavored canele - I've been getting into canele recently so I tried this one. Unfortunately this canele was pretty mediocre. The outside is supposed to be crispy and crunchy, but this one seems not as fresh. The inside is still nice gooey Ube cheesecake - a good cheesecake. If you like cheesecake, they have so many flavors available.

This place is very good and all the guys were super friendly. The Philly cheesesteak was so good. The sandwich came out super hot and was filled with so much meet and the combo of the onions, cheese and bell peppers (even though I'm not a big fan of them) was so tasty. It also comes with mushrooms (which I love) but we were sharing and he doesn't like mushrooms so we opted out of them. The sandwich is pretty big, I only ate a quarter of it and was full! The menu was small and curated, making a selection easy... or so I thought. I honestly didn't much care for the Cheesesteak, finding the Chipotle Avocado Beef way more enticing alongside their well-known Super 3-Way Beef sandwich, but the dude somehow convinced us in our ultra hungry states that we didn't want the Chipotle Avocado Beef, that their "well-known" Cheesesteak was a must instead. Again, super hungry, so didn't argue, but was confuzzed as to why he was trying to talk us out of something I wanted in spite of its similarities to the 3-way beef sandwich (his other reason for steering us towards to the Cheesesteak huh?). Said Cheesesteak with the works (cheese, onions, pepper and mushrooms), while piping hot and gigantic, was bland and the bread a little crusty/ old. The 3-way beef, while the meat was not exactly warmed up enough on the grill, was actually super delicious. Not nearly as delicious as a famed beef sandwich from a shop in PB, but still good-ish. The onion bun was much preferred to the crusty cheesesteak bread too. All sandwiches are bound to get you sloppy and full with such a generous protein portion. You will not leave hungry. I was much fulfilled following my state of hunger, but with much left to be desired for the Cheesesteak that I didn't even want!
