Just ordered online for pickup. Ordered a Club Supreme and a mini Italian. This pic was literally when I opened my sandwich of the Club Supreme. Peep the bacon! Like what? A single piece, folded in half on a quarter of my sandwich. "Zero" lettuce, "missing" meat and just sloppy. I blame the lazy owners of this particular place for kicking back and just letting their employees do whatever they do, because this is pretty embarrassing. Do better Jersey Mikes! Sad. Avoid this sh*t show if you can. Expect terrible customer service. No Karen here, this is a legit reason to avoid this place. Ordered, in person, one sandwich 1:35 pm with four (visible workers present). Sat down and waited but after 5 minutes noticed no one was there, all had gone to the back, and I had to find anyone and ask them to start making the sandwich!!! Then only an attitude, no personal responsibility or explanation. Three weeks previous a similar situation waiting for a sandwich that had been made and left sitting on the counter ten minutes, no word or name called, just left with cold food. No more of my hard earned money for that crappy service. I will not be back. read more

Wait wait wait is all I seem to do at this Jersey Mikes. Always frustrating when I come in for a quick bite and most of that time is ate up waiting in line. I guess I need to order only online. There was at least 4-5 bags ready to go for pick up. There were four people behind the counter. One just standing as a cashier. The other three were busy navigating between those waiting in line and online orders. Maybe more help during the all crucial lunch time. read more

Love the sandwiches and employees do their best, but apparently there's either a franchise or corporate policy to place all online orders ahead of walk-ins. We waited in line a solid 10 minutes and watched a worker receive 4 online orders as we stood there and started working on THOSE without even saying "Boo" to us. My husband asked the young man if we'd get our order faster if we just placed it online; he said, "Probably!" Not sure why there are negative reviews, I think this is the best Jersey Mike's I have been to. The sandwich portions were extremely generous, the service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. They even checked on us mid meal to ask if everything was good. Considering subway prices are similar these days, this food is far more fresh and better tasting. read more

I love Jersey Mike's! They are my favorite sub shop. I always get the #7 Mike's Way. The seasoning, oil and vinegar combo is tasty and their bread is delicious. Ever since ordering through the app became available, it has been so easy and fast to work in an order and pick it up when I'm ready. I have eaten there before and the inside is clean and easy to meet people for a lunch meeting. They have some outside tables that also provide a good spot. I am only giving 4 stars because when I had my last order delivered I only received 3 of 4 sandwiches in a very well sealed delivery bag with my receipt hanging on the bag stating the bag contained 4 sandwiches. I sent a message on text and through the app asking for a refund (at least) and it has been over 2 days without a response. I'm wondering if anyone is managing their customer service messages and whether they will make this right. read more

Went to buy a sub on 4/01/23 @ 5:30 pm and the staff said, "sorry, we are out of bread so it will be 20 minutes until we can serve you". That is just unacceptable when the store is empty and I could see 3 staff members. Why wait until you run out of bread before making more? I won't be back. read more

I'm really not sure why this location only has 2 1/2 stars!?!? I have never had a bad experience here before. All of the staff has always been so polite and attentive. One of my favorite parts about this sandwich shop, is you can order online or over the phone and pick it up at your convenience. They have it set aside and ready to go, so you don't have to wait in line or get too close to anyone. They also offer points that can earn you free sandwiches! Yes, it's kind of pricey for a sandwich shop, but there's a good reason why. All of the cheese is sliced to order on a slicer and it's nice and super thin. Also all the meats are sliced to order as well. No pre-packaged deli meats. No processed cheeses. They also roast the roast beef in house, as well as the bread. The tomatoes are cut fresh daily also! You can taste the freshness in every bite. Even though this is a chain business, it does not skimp out on quality. So yummy!! read more

You reAlly need to do something about the to go orders, have a second staff to work on those. You are making people in line wait to long, and then the sandwiches are made so fast and messy you can't eat them without a ton of napkins! I actually had amazing service today. I stopped by around 10:15 this morning and ordered 3 sandwiches. The young lady that was working was friendly and professional. She was easy to talk to while she was making my sandwiches. When I went to pay she informed me that my next visit I would have a free regular sandwich with the shore points. They have such yummy sandwiches. #7 is our favorite. The ingredients taste fresh and of good quality every time. The bread is slightly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. My kids love it too. The only downside is that they gave us a mini instead of a regular size the last time we went. We paid for the regular. They handled it well and issued a refund with no issues. Highly recommend this place if you like sub sandwiches. Much better than the competition read more

So we had an uber eats order that went sour..literally! Today Kaitlin remade our order and the Sandwhich was perfect. Literally the best Sandwhich I ever had. The salads are delicious and fresh. Every time I get a salad from Jersey Mike's the one that's on Clark in Orcutt and the staff always greet you when you walk in. I continue to be disappointed in the Clark Avenue location. I always order online and the last few times I still have to wait 10 minutes or so after my order is supposed to be ready. The Crossroads location is much better at service. I don't hold the employees responsible. Last night there were only 2 people working. At least 3 online orders were being prepared and 6 people waiting in line. The management needs to do a better job at analyzing when more employees are needed. We order (online using the app) from Jersey Mike's at least once a week and used to order from the one in Santa Maria, but we kept having problems (making us wait, don't have certain ingredients in stock, prepared wrong) so we decided to try this Orcutt location. 98% of the time there are no issues and the usual person preparing our food (Elexcya/Lexi) always makes our sandwich exactly as we like it. Of course, there will always be hiccups but they are few and far between so we will continue using this Jersey MIke's even though it's a bit out of our way. I've gone to this Jerseys Mikes before and it has been a so-so (if not terrible)experience, but wanted something different than "regular" fast food and decided to give them another chance. Walked in just expecting to pick up dinner and ended up having a great conversation with the manager Kaitlyn. I learned that Kaitlyn has transferred in from a different store and is working to improve the bad experiences and not so great customer customer service that store is known for. Everyone (Aniya and Rifka making the sandwiches) was so friendly and I was in and out quickly! I encourage everyone was has recently had bad experiences give them another chance and ask for Kaitlyn if you have any issues! read more

I love going to Jersey Mikes and have been to several different ones throughout the country buts this location does not live up to the others. Every single time I have placed an online order here, it is never ready on time. When I walked in today to pick up my order, I showed up 5 minutes later than the quoted time and they hadn't even STARTED preparing it yet. I had to wait over 15 minutes more for my food once I arrived. There was only one in-person customer so I'm not sure what took so long, maybe backed up online orders? The staff were friendly enough and if this happened only once it would be ok, but this has happened 3+ times that I've ordered from this location. The purpose of ordering online is to avoid unnecessary waiting time, especially with having young children and a busy schedule, so I won't be trying this location another time. They either need more or better staff to stay on top of their orders. If they can't properly fulfill them, they could also do away with online ordering as it seems to be a common problem after reading the other reviews for this location. A new location in Orcutt. The employees while nice moved very slowly in handling orders. No manager seen despite being in store for 15 mins. I was concerned with what appeared to be fast and loose preparation standards as to the sandwiches. I've attached photos. First was random piece of meat just sitting in the case chillin'. Who are they planning on serving that to? Second, I saw in order receipt literally on the sandwich bread like it was a piece of cheese. Employee seemed unconcerned. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want dirty receipt paper from the cash register touching my food. I'm sure they can turn it around but get it going if you want to survive. read more

Terrible management and customer service. While the young folks working the counter do seem to try they are are under trained, under managed. The customer standing in front of you is always your most important customer! So while there were no fewer than 7 of us in line .... the three personnel working preceded to ignore all guest while making multiple online sandwich orders (at least 12). If you get a large online order...the manager/owner should come out from the back to fulfill the order or assist the counter. NEVER do you ignore and delay your paying customer that is standing in front of you!! read more

I normally have a pleasant experience at the Orcutt location but my experience last night was extremely frustrating. We arrived at 7pm two hours before they closed, we were the only people in the restaurant and our two sandwiches took almost 30 minutes. There were three workers and all of them seemed to have no idea what they were doing. I had asked for my sandwich as a wrap and the girl working smothered it in oil and vinegar, I kindly asked if she could rewrap it as the tortilla had ripped and wouldn't roll shut. The second time I asked her not to put oil and vinegar, which she agreed to but then put even more than the first time, and was clearly dripping from so much liquid. All while she struggle for a second time her co workers just stood in the back talking paying no mind to her. Out of frustration I just told her to wrap it up and planned to just reassemble it at home. Beyond frustrating! read more

Unsanitary There was only one employee who was making both hot and cold subs and she was using the same gloves to cook the raw chicken for the hot sub, while at the same time was making my cold sub and touching all the toppings. So I decided to not eat the sub because I do not want to take the chance of getting sick with cross-contamination. :( I love Jersey Mikes, but employees need to be trained better about Sanitation and change their gloves, especially after handling raw meat. read more
