Each time I have come into this location, the Soda machine area, floors and tables have been clean. Quality sandwiches made here. We have had the pleasure of enjoying the cheesesteaks and cold sandwiches. My only "complaint" would be with online orders. If I place my order at 4PM to be picked up at 5PM, I do not want the sandwich made until as close to 5PM as possible. I have arrived 20 minutes early, normally not a big deal, but to find the sandwiches already sitting out (cold) or in a warmer (cheesesteaks) really leaves a poor impression. So the food at this place is actually the only reason for giving stars. They don't skimp out on the meat in the sandwiches I order. I'm a big fan of meat in my sandwiches so I was very happy with that. The actual process of them making my sandwiches is what bothered me. I ordered 10 sandwiches (so yes, I knew there might be a little wait) to be picked up at 7:15. I get there at 7:13. Give them my name and the guy says "ok we're going to start working on those now" I'm sorry, but I was expecting my sandwiches to be already made (or just about to be finished being made) when I got there. Keep in mind, I placed my order at like 4:30, so it's not like they didn't have time. Everyone who came in after me also got the "he's starting it right now" so it sounds like to me, THERE'S NO POINT ON ORDERING ONLINE. Either show up ten minutes before you need you sandwich, or just order when you get in the store. My next problem was that the guy had asked me how many pieces I wanted my sandwiches cut into. I ordered the Giant size, so I asked for them to be cut into 4. But only about half of the sandwiches were cut into 4! The rest were just cut in half. Why ask and then not follow through????? And my final problem is that I ordered all of my sandwiches on the Parmesan rosemary bread. And again, only about half of them were on the correct bread! The rest were on regular white bread! It wasn't until I got to work and opened the sandwiches that I noticed the wrong bread, so it's not like I could have gone back at returned them and gotten correct ones made. Overall I DO like the food, if only my food would be correct and ready when I get there. Now, I bought all my sandwiches when they were doing a deal, so they were all 50% off. I have been waiting for this place to open!! I needed a new sandwich place close by in my life. My first impression was-- they were really nice! I was greeted, an employee was leaving as I walked in and he held the door for me, everyone smiled. It was nice. I have never been to a jersey mikes so I asked the girl taking my order what she liked and went with her suggestion, the #13 and my hubby got the Philly cheesesteak. Both were really good! I am happy with the suggestion and it was piled with meat. I loved the spices and vinegar and all that. I also like that they use white onion. The bread is good too! I am not a fan of being asked to pay while my food is being prepared, I like to watch to make sure I like the amount of lettuce and onion is going on because I like my veggies! Could have used a few more onions. Saw the sign for their rewards program and was signing up while in line too, so I needed just a minute. I was given a cookie for it being my first visit, I liked that. Very nice little treat! I'm glad I didn't end up getting meals because 3 out of 8 of their fountain options were out of order. So the reason for the 3 stars was because of the soda machine being so out of order and I wasn't a fan of how messy the prep area was, it wasn't busy and the lettuce was being swapped out while I was there but nothing was being wiped down. I watched and it wasn't cleaned before my food was made or after mine. And the wanting me to pay while my food was being made. I would give the taste 4 1/2 stars and the hubs agrees. It was nice that the steak was being cooked on a flattop and not microwaved! I think this could easily be 5 stars with some small improvements. I will be back and I understand it's new. Very disappointed in their online ordering process at this specific location. I've gone to plenty of Jersey Mike's locations that offer prompt online pickup however this location does not. I am not the only customer that feels this way as their was five customers that were also waiting for their online/phone orders, and were skipped in line for walk in customers. This location is the worst. I've never encountered an employee that made me feel welcomed. I've either been ignored by employees or my order has been incomplete. For example, did an online order with two sandwiches and add-ons. None of the add-ons were on the sandwiches; including ones I got charged for. I don't eat meat and I can't have dairy, so my sandwiches are basically just all the veggies on bread (which is still somehow good). I order online for my kids and myself. My kid runs inside, and comes out and says they made one sandwich, and they're out of bacon. Ok no big deal, let's get our sandwiches made. We walk around into the line, and the sandwich makers didn't even offer to make it right and make ours right away. We had to wait in line behind 4 other people, so that took a good 15 minutes. Once we got to the register, she was going to ring us up, and i had to remind her, we already paid on line, and I pointed out the sandwiches we got were less than what we'd be charged for BLTs, and asked would we get a refund? She looks at me like I'm complicated, and had no idea what to do, and said let me give you some free cards, but when she looked at them, they were all expired. This weekend I come in for a pick up, and neither sandwich artist make eye contact to ask if I'm there for my pick up. I had an unpleasant experience there yesterday--a major error in the order and crappy food. I walked in and asked if their cheesesteak sandwiches were hot. (Half the menu items were in that category; I just tried to verify the exact words on their website but you have start an order just to see the menu.) The guy at the counter said yes. I said first I'd like a #3 (cold ham and cheese). Then I'd like the chicken bacon cheesesteak (or whatever they call it)--a #26. He gave me a piece of paper he'd jotted down some numbers on, and I waited at the cash register without looking at the paper. The order came to $25--a little high, I thought. Then the person who made the sandwiches put three of them into the bag for me. Wait, I only ordered two! No, she showed the guy who waited on me at first had written three sandwich numbers. Why????????? I told her I hadn't ordered a #17, and I had to look up at the menu to what it even was--a Philly cheesesteak, I think. I didn't feel like arguing, paid, took the three sandwiches and left. My husband thought the cold sandwich (sliced meat and cheese) was OK. However, the chicken sandwich I had was made with thin slices of chicken chopped into confetti size or smaller chunks that were hard and dry. And it was too salty. I used the beef and cheese from the other sandwich on my own bread at home today (at ($9, I couldn't bear to throw it out!), and the meat on it was also confetti size or smaller, hard, and dry. Crumbs of hard, dry meat were still in the corners of my mouth after eating the sandwiches each day. It was like sand or something. Shouldn't a hot sandwich be made of tender slices of meat, not tiny, hard chunks? read more

2 of my family members ordered sandwiches for DoorDash delivery. The bag arrived sealed with one sandwich missing and the other sandwich was incorrect. They drove all the way to the store tp present the issue and were told the order was correct and were treated VERY badly. Why would they have driven all the way to the store if it was correct especially since they are still recovering from Covid? They were treated very badly, not allowed to speak to a manager and the person they talked with had zero common sense.!!! They were probably given the entire wrong order and it should have been given the correct order and an apology. Very poor customer service and bad training. My husband and I decided to try here for lunch since I had a buy one get one free coupon for a regular size sub. As we walked in we noticed there was a line of about 5 people. The line was slow-moving and I'm not sure why it was taking a long time they had 5 employees behind the counter. We placed our order for a regular size #17 which is a Jersey Mike's famous Philly cheesesteak, and a regular size #20 a grilled pastrami Reuben. Our plan was to share each of the sub so we can eat more of the menu and find out which sub was our favorite . The lady helping us that took her order handed us a check to bring to the cashier that had our order on it. We still stood in line as the previous customers still needed to be rang up. When we were rung up they accepted my coupon no problem and handed us our drink. Then we found a place to sit and waited over 30 minutes to receive our subs. Not sure if it's always this slow to receive a grilled sub but I could see other patrons pacing around looking at their watches and also wondering what was going on. Once we finally received our subs we we noticed that they were not split in half and had to get back in line and ask them to cut it in half for us. The bread to meat portion on both subs were lacking in the meat department. Out of the two sandwiches our favorite was the #17 Jersey Mike's Famous Philly cheese steak. For the wait time and sandwich quality I don't see myself coming here in the near future. read more

This "new manager" just lost two regular repeat customers. Was last in just before the new year, and after our order was completely wrong (including putting my wife's "bowl" on bread and putting a pile of mayo on my "NO MAYO" sandwich) the lady at the counter apologized and gave me a card for a free order on my next visit. Went in two days ago to "try again" and when I showed the guy who referred himself as the "new manager, for about two weeks" my card he literally tossed it back to me and said "it expired in september". I told him I'd only just been given it in november, and could even show the transaction, he literally said "it's not my problem". I just said "fine" and ordered my food (there was a snowstorm coming and I was planning for the next day). I ordered my wife a cheesesteak bowl with "extra meat" and an italian sub for myself, also with "extra meat". When I saw her bowl I simply said "really? That's "extra meat"? It wasn't even 1/3 full. Then as I watched my sandwich be made and when the (very nice) guy who made it put just 4 slices of pepperoni on my large sandwich I asked if that was "extra meat". Before he could answer the "new manager" jumped in and said "don't add more, that's enough". Literally 4 slices of pepperoni? In the end I paid over $25 for a pathetic sandwich and a bowl that didn't even fill up my wife and I for dinner, when I thought we'd have leftovers for lunch the next day. Whomever hired this new manager might want to think twice. He easily could have just said "I'm sorry they gave you an expired card, but no worries I'll honor it", and/or "be sure to give them extra meat, since they're paying for it". Instead he just seemed annoyed the store was empty. Maybe it was empty because of his awful customer service? The many times I've been into this JM's in the past there have always been customers in line. I suppose those customers have just decided to go to one of the other options. And now we have too. Although this location is a little hard to access currently with the construction going on in the two adjacent building fronts I finally made it into the Sparks Jersey Mike's. And I was not disappointed. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and the woman behind the counter answered my questions knowledgeably and quickly. I placed my order and she went to work immediately crafting my sandwiches. I was moved down the line quickly and checked out at the register in a matter of minutes. There was a slight delay in cutting my sandwich in half and getting it wrapped up, but all in all, I was in and out within 5 minutes flat. I took my sandwiches to-go and when I arrived home a couple minutes later they were still fresh and hadn't become soggy despite all the toppings. Upon first bite, the bread was crispy, fresh, and delicious, the meats were salty and spicy, and all the produce was at its prime. My only quip with the taste of the sandwich, is that it was a little heavy on the vinegar flavor. (I quickly remedied that by removing the CPR and next time, I think I would get the sandwich with just the chopped peppers, not the vinegar) But the store-baked chocolate chip cookie was absolutely amazing! Salt and sweet, soft, chewy, and crispy around the edges with just the right amount of chocolate chips!! I don't think this sandwich shop is overall expensive, for two sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, and a cookie it about evens out with Jimmy John's or Port of Subs prices. I definitely think Jersey Mike's has become one of my top sandwich spot choices for a classic sub done the right way, and with better ethical practices than some. read more

I know this is going to sound pretty dramatic, but that was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten (well..attempted to eat). I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It comes with grilled up chicken, melted provolone and bacon with lettuce, tomato and ranch. Sounded good, but definitely wasn't. I live less than a mile away so I ordered it to go. I unwrapped it once I got home and took the first bite. Bread was completely soggy (not from the ranch, but from whatever chicken juices the chicken had been soaking in before it was transferred to the bread. I tried eating the chicken by itself and it was disgusting, tasted off. Then I decided to eat the top layer by itself (with the bacon, tomato, lettuce and ranch), but the top half of the loaf was also soggy. If you want to pay $8 for three slices of bacon, a couple pieces of wilted lettuce and non ripe tomato slices then Jersey Mike's is the place for you. Today, however, I encountered possibly the worst food service employee I have ever experienced. Upon entering this location, we were greeted by a young man without a mask on chilling on his phone who said "F**K" and rolled his eyes when we entered, then ran his hands through his hair before making our meals. He then said "What do you want!" in a toxic attitude. Once we got to the toppings he once again said "What do you want!" with the same unacceptable attitude while slamming around all of the items. Just as I was thinking "wow this guy needs a major attitude adjustment" another patron gladly let him know that he needs to be nicer and speak to customers in a better tone. As that man exited I was the only one left in the building and the kid loudly expressed that the patron who called him out was a "stupid a**". When he rung us up, we were once again greeted with a terrible attitude and asked "What did you get!". We didn't even bother asking for corrections because we didn't want to face this kids rudeness any more. This behavior is not what you expect when going to a Jersey Mike's and shouldn't be tolerated. On the way out we overheard the "stupid a**" customers saying they were never going to return to this location because "this is a really great place to eat but the negativity really spoils the food" and I agree 100%. read more
