My go to location! This location makes some spectacular sandwiches. I even tried some of the staff's favorites. I have yet to have to wait or fight for a sandwich. I am greeted, taken care of, and don't feel rushed out of the store they keep very clean. Their store always seems a bit dark but that could be my eyes so I won't dock them for it. As long as they continue to rock my sandwiches and treat me like an amazing customer, I will continue to go back. If I need a sandwich, Burien is good but in the north end, THIS is the best spot. read more

I stopped into Jersey Mike's and had a really disappointing experience. I walked in and wasn't greeted at all. I stood there waiting while two employees were right in front of me chatting, and another employee was cleaning the grill. What bothered me most was the lack of basic food-handling hygiene. The employee cleaning the grill had on plastic gloves, took them off using her hands, threw them away, then grabbed a new pair of gloves without washing her hands in between. The restaurant itself felt pretty clean which was definitely a plus and definitely appreciated. To be fair, when the employee did speak, she seemed like a nice person but there was no customer service attached to my experience. I paid, started to leave, and even waited to see if someone would say "have a nice day" or anything...........nothing. I don't like being overly tough on fast food places, but people work extremely hard nowadays to earn money and the bare minimum any business can offer is a simple smile and basic customer service. It's not about big business vs. small business it's about kindness and showing appreciation that each customer feels valued and appreciated. I ate here multiple times during a work trip and was very impressed by each employee here at opening. Each morning greeted with a smile and a welcome greeting. I did online orders and each time they checked in to see which order I was there for and gave me an update on the order status. Food was on par with what you would expect from a Jersey Mike's. The Federal Way store sets the standard--it's consistently clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and their hygiene practices are clearly a priority. I always see staff washing their hands regularly, using gloves properly, and keeping their prep area spotless. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience at this location. The overall cleanliness just doesn't compare, and the customer service feels rushed and disconnected. It makes a big difference when you can tell that a team takes pride in their work and cares about the customer experience. Hello store manager. I think I understand why your staff is the way they are. You were sitting at the table while I came through to ask you about your policy. You made all of our sandwiches wrong, and ask me to drive it back to the store. When asked if it was your store policy you couldn't answer. You couldn't answer any questions when I asked, instead all of you interrupted with condescending answers as in "we gave you coupons" we dont want your coupons. My sandwich order from this location was much less than satisfying. I love a good sandwich, and I really love a great SIMPLE BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato). When placing my online order, I selected mustard as well, as the only additional add-on. When I got to the restaurant in less than 10 mins from placing, my order was ready and sitting on the counter. Sweet. There were about 5 people in the lobby, and the front door said "Max 5 guests at a time" due to covid. I grabbed my sandwich and left without anyone looking. When I opened my sandwich, I notice how messy it was and how much lettuce fell out onto my lap and how much sauce was all over my fingers Just from opening. When I went to pull it apart (cut in halves), it wouldn't pull because it wasn't cut properly. It was cut halfway through only. I took a bite, there were MOUNDS of Mayo and mustard pouring into my mouth. Sick! I had to take another napkin and Pat my sandwich half down. I proceeded to eat the rest of the half and it was soooo drenched in mustard it was overpowering and not appetizing at all. It was inedible. I couldn't touch the other half. The most unfriendly, incompetent staff, and only two of them behind the counter at prime lunch time. I swear they were both stoned out of their minds. Soggy, yellow/brown lettuce that the employee literally scraped from the bottom and the sides of the stainless steel container. The cheese and the turkey was sliced so thin it was see through and the employee only covered half of my sandwich with the turkey. I had to ask her to put meat on the rest of it. The rosemary parm bread was the smallest width wise I have ever seen at a Jersey Mikes or any sandwich shop for that matter. The cheese draped over the sides, the bread was so narrow, not to mention how stingy they were with the toppings. This location must be pinching pennies between the thin slices & small bread. Can't even bust out some fresh lettuce & lack of well trained staff. Just close this dirty location all together. And empty the overflowing trash can and wipe the tables down every so often! Big fan love Jersey Mike's an upgrade from Subway or Jimmy John's but this location seems to suffer, from the horrendous parking to the only bad uneatable sub from J.M. ever last Thursday, October 15. Split a giant #5 with the wife seems I ordered a # 5.1 Grande Pan Duro Sin Queso "giant # cinco hard bread no cheese". How the staff didn't notice this or more likely, didn't care escapes logic and me. Ordered take out upon arriving home unwrapped a sandwich the bottom soaked in oil and vinegar turned to mush no cheese, which I didn't request and a top that fractured like the Earth's crust and dulled my knife trying to cut. An upright band saw would have been required to correctly slice this bread approaching diamond hardness. Excellent tooth replacing dental insurance to eat or frappe in blender drink thru straw. I'm taking a star away at this location for a couple of reasons. The first was the service. I was the only one ordering in-person. However, I had to wait while several sandwiches were made ahead of mine. Presumably these were for delivery or take out orders, but c'mon! I'm standing right here in front of you! The real clincher here was that when I finally bit into my sandwich I was greeted with a crunch and a handful of crumbs. Absolutely day-old bread. This location was clean and they worked fast, I've visited the burien location and it was disgustingly dirty. It was a nice change of pace coming to the tukwila one!! I live between this location and the burien location which is actually a little closer to me. This location is by far superior. Food is of course great at both but it's the crew here that really stands out. Whoever the two crew members that worked today around 2:00pm 2/19 were killin it. I consider myself to be an annoying ordered (ordering sauces on the side) and they gave me no trouble at all. They went above and beyond. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and have a positive work environment. This location always greets me when I arrive and I leave happy and smiling. Keep it up!! read more

The Tukwila Washington Jersey Mike's just ripped me off! I ordered and paid for a regular size sub (using the app), but I received a mini. I didn't realize it until I got all the way home and took it out of the bag. I also ordered & paid for extra cheese & extra bacon on my sub & I received neither. To make matters worse, the app said my order would be ready at 12:08 pm. So I arrived at 12:08 pm, clicked 'I'm Here' for curbside pickup, and waited, and waited... at 12:16 pm I called the location. They hadn't even started my order! So why did the app tell me to come at 12:08? A few minutes later, an employee came out (with his mask off his nose - where it stayed the entire time I was there) to tell me they were out of roast beef (waiting on the next one), so I'd have to order something else. I had no 'backup' order ready, so I went to park so I could go inside & make another choice. As I came inside, the same employee who came out to my car said he was wrong and they DID have roast beef and could make my sandwich in a couple of minutes (still with his mask off his nose). I finally received my mini (not regular, which is what I'd ordered) at 12:28 pm. An entirely disappointing experience. I doubt I'll ever be back. read more

I was not only disappointed as I was really hungry but I was offended and not one of the staff even addressed me. I've been to this location a few times and ever since the beginning of the pandemic they have not been consistent with their mask protocols. In particular there is always one man that is wearing his mask improperly. I normally don't say anything because he at least has his mouth covered but today when I went into buy a sandwich, his mask was completely off while he was preparing a different customers order. After he finished that I thought maybe he would put his mask back on but he tried to make my order while his mask was still off and when I asked him to please put his mask on properly while he made my food, he rolled his eyes and had a rude tone. We stood in there for awhile and nobody showed up to meet or greet us from the staff, and the entire business appeared deserted. It smelled absolutely horrible in there. Tried this location many times. Each time it has gotten worse. Customer service is terrible. They are slow at making sandwiches as well. Examples include telling the sandwich maker "no mayo" and yet when I get my sub to go back home and eat it, mayo on the gal damn thing. Another example, I asked for extra meat, got back to house and it almost looked like less meat than normal. Like wtf happened here? Another example, "mikes way sir?", "yes please".. then after sandwich made and in the wrapping stage, "sorry we are out of onions". I would have cancelled my order if I was aware before the wrap up!
