There are pros and cons to Jersey Mike's. I'll do my best to adequately explain some of each. Pros - The food is good. The hoagie style sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The bread is always fresh and the meat slides to perfection. I have the tendency to lean towards the hot sandwiches. I really like the Philly cheesesteak and the chicken Philly cheesesteak. My wife leans more towards the Italian style sub sandwich. They also have good vegetarian options if that is what you need. This particular restaurant seems to be clean and the staff is very friendly. If you download the app, you can earn points for free food. Based on all the pros, I gave them four stars. Cons - The cons are not directed to this restaurant specifically but need to be addressed. At the time of this review (5.26.22), their app has some definite shortcomings. I order a lot of catering and deliveries. I prefer to order with apps. The major shortcoming with their app is you can't order a delivery for a future date. If I want a delivery for 15 people tomorrow, I can't place the order on the app. I have to go to the store and place it because they have to manually write it down and (this is really stupid), they can't take payment with a card over the phone. So, if you want to call in your order for delivery, you still have to go in and pay?!?!? How does that make sense???? JM obviously spent money creating an app but I can't use it for a delivery time that isn't immediate?!?!? Again, that's just dumb!!! Bottom line - Pretty good sub sandwiches. I really like them. Their app is subpar. I didn't ding this location for the app because they didn't create the problem. However, corporate needs to fix this shortcoming. Bon appétit, y'all.

I wore a really nice Liverpool jersey to this eatery and then I left my Jersey at Mike's. They sure do have pretty good sandwiches and a hell of a lot better than Subway, and even though a lot of other people are complaining about the price, I think this is a pretty good location, with pretty decent average sandwich prices. I mean Subway is cheaper but it tastes so much cheaper and they're smaller too. In any case, the quality is top notch, and sure the prices are comparatively high, but that's because it's so far superior to going to Subway, and also better than Jimmy John's too and other sub chains to be honest. Having said that, it's still a chain, and I should really give it 3, but I'm torn between 3 and 4.

Okay this place is kinda expensive for what you get if you're pinching pennies (and no judgement if you are; been there, had to do that). But if you have a few spare pennies and want a really freaking delicious sandwich this is a great choice. You order at the counter, but they make each sandwich a specific way so if you're up don't want something on it, or want something added, just let them know. I love that they slice the meat and cheese for your sandwich right there in front of you. And they don't skimp on either! I always get the turkey and provolone without onions. And it's so good! It tastes a lot like a grinder (grindah) from New England even though the place is called Jersey Mike's! The service was super awesome here; really friendly and welcoming and definitely a notch above most fast food joints. The chips and drinks are just the standard stuff and like most places the soda is flat. Boo. But yay for ice tea! I really love this place when I'm feeling flush and would probably eat here a few days a week if I worked closer!

Whataburger versus In-N-Out Burger…read more... I had a wonderful experience last week to have both Whataburger and In-N-Out Burger. So what is better? After dining at both restaurants, I will share my thoughts and my selection, but you should try both and have some fun. I do not live in Texas anymore and thoroughly miss Whataburger. In my travels if there is a Whataburger in the area, I would choose that over most Berger joints. Why? Whataburger flame broiled burger is cooked when you place your order, I found the size of their burger bigger than In-N-Out Burger. Condiments, bun, fries are about the same. Though I did notice the hand cut french fries at In-N-Out are pretty darn good. Where Whataburger definitely makes better onion rings. In-N-Out Burger's are also cooked when you placed your order. Both are juicy and both have good flavor. Both tailor, the burger with condiments that you want, cheese,, onions, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, pickles, you get to pick. I feel that both burgers use a good bun and cook it as you would expect. Juicy and delicious Where I found a difference is that In-N-Out Burger has some catchy Marketing request like an animal burger, so you have to know the secret handshake. Whataburger is a little more traditional. They just make very good hamburgers. If you're looking for ketchy West Coast fu-fu Marketing then enjoy a In-N-Out Burger, you won't be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a better burger in size and flavor, I lean to Whataburger while they are not. " ketchy" you can't go wrong with a Whataburger. Don't forget to order the onion rings they compliment the burger well So my choice... Whataburger wins over In-N-Out Burger.

I ordered a double single protein style burger no tomato, side of animal fries and a 7-up, spread and mustard on the side. The guy who helped me place my order was super nice and helpful. Both the cashier and girl who handed me my food looked like they really didn't want to be there. The food: there in fact was tomato in my burger, no biggie, I pulled out the two big slices. I'm sure some seed or something stayed behind because I could still taste the tomato which I hate tomatoes. The meat not cooked all the way through and did not even receive the spread or mustard. The 7up tasted flat and almost like it was mixed with something sweet, maybe lemonade?! I dont know ! Overall, not the best first time experience. Not sure if I'll be back, it was a 50 minute drive from my home.

We always go through the drive thru and while the line can be a bit long at times, we've never really had to wait very long. It's not my number one choice in taco places, but they're good tacos at a good price. When I go on a Carnival cruise, I like to get fish tacos from The Blue Iguana... if I'm not on a ship, this is the closest thing I've found. They do lose a star though because I also have a toddler to feed and tell me why I can get two tacos for the prize of ONE kids quesadilla? So I end up going to two different places for food. There's not much else to say. I don't know if they offer indoor seating, but I know people seem to enjoy sitting in the outdoor patio area. Thankfully it's covered which really helps in the Texas heat. As for me, I just use the drive thru and carry on with my daily tasks.

The food came out surprisingly fast, and overall, the experience felt very relaxed and enjoyable. I ordered the braised beef tacos, also known as quesabirria. While they were decent, they were definitely not the best quesabirria tacos I've had. The consommé was very oily and lacked flavor, and the pickled onions were a bit off-putting. That being said, the tacos were generously filled with beef, which I appreciated. If I came back, though, I would probably try a different menu item. I also ordered a horchata and the regular size completely caught me off guard because it was huge. It tasted slightly more watered down than other horchatas I've had, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable. I would definitely order it again. Overall, while not every item completely wowed me, I still had a really pleasant experience here. The quick service, laid-back atmosphere, and generous portions made it worth the visit, and I'd be interested in coming back to try more of the menu in the future.
