It should first be said that I don't take time to write reviews. So, for me to take time to write this review means something either went really, really bad -or- really, really great. Spoiler Alert: Jess provided a great experience! Attitude matters. So does skill. So does listening to your client and delivering quickly and efficiently. And fair pricing seals the deal. That's why Jess is the best plumber you'll ever work with. He removed our old tank water heater and installed a new tankless unit in a different location, handling it all with skill, patience, and a great attitude the whole time. His demeanor and positive energy were the icing on the cake -- not what you'd expect from a plumber (sorry, plumbers). He responded fast, showed up on time, stayed late to finish, and even vacuumed before leaving so everything was spotless -- I almost asked him to do the rest of the house. Despite a clearly exhausting job, he stayed upbeat, courteous, and funny the entire time. Before Jess, we got quotes from two other plumbers, including a larger local company (Mike Counsil) that quoted $30K for the same install. The rep never asked about our goals -- energy efficiency, space saving, eco-friendliness, budget, placement -- he just launched into his pitch, pushed one expensive solution that didn't seem like the right fit, and left us feeling talked down to. We were also skeptical of some of what he used to justify the estimate, so we got a second opinion. Jess did the same job for over 70% less, with no runaround. He gave us clear, honest guidance, answered every question, and actually listened to what we needed and provided the best solution. We immediately brought him back for a second project, and he's now our go-to plumber. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's a genuine joy and someone you can fully trust. read more

Jess did a fantastic job of helping us through a serious plumbing situation at the house we are renting. What started as snaking the line for backed up toilets eventually resulted in replacing a part of the sewer lateral that had been invaded & dislocated by roots. Each step of the way, Jess was responsive, available, and did a great job of explaining the issues and remedies. He used his camera to show what was going on and never tried to sell more than what was needed. Jess always does a high quality job on our house. We had a washer pipe that would flood every time I did my laundry. We have two kids so I do laundry everyday. I was really growing tired laying towels allover the garage floor to do the laundry. He replaced the pipes so that it was up to code and it works great. We're really grateful it was done correctly. I had to replace my broken washing machine last week. The new washer was delivered but they promptly broke my water shutoff valve while trying to install the washer, leaving me to find someone to fix it. Luckily I found Jess via some Internet search. I reached out to him Friday late afternoon, and after looking at my photo Jess explained me what needed to be done. The discussion went smoothly using messages and a brief phone call, and he agreed to come out first thing Saturday morning. He arrived on time with all the material needed to work on replacing the valve. He wore masks/gloves/shoe covering the whole time, with a great safety-minded approach during COVID. The fix went smoothly like he described - a hole had to be cut on the wall below the old valve, the pipes cut and new valves welded to the pipe. He completed the whole job before noon. With that said, decided that an independent contractor was the way to go awhile back, and Jess didn't let me down. I can't emphasize my appreciation for how he juggled his schedule to come out, where he originally didn't have an opening; first thing next morning. Needed a plumber badly, as clog developed over the weekend..the worst time of all it seems, so when you need a plumber in a pinch that type of initiative is priceless. We were having our electrical replaced in our home when the electrician discovered a cracked pipe under our kitchen, in the crawl space. The electrician recommended Jess and we called him. We also called two other plumbers for a bid to fix it. We ended up choosing Jess for several reasons and we are so thankful that we went with him. Jess came out and crawled under the house to access the problem. He suggested ways to fix the problem with a simple repair of the leaking pipe all the way up to replacing all of the plumbing. Our house is old, and we have known about several plumbing issues that would eventually need to be addressed. We chose to replace all of the plumbing. Jess knew that we still had an electrical job that was 1/2 done and needed completing so he came in and worked full days Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so we could be ready for the other work to continue by Monday morning. Jess and his crew showed up and wore masks the entire time (COVID) and busted their asses all day. They cleaned up every day when they left and were so professional and nice. We were without water for only about 7 hours. Jess was mindful that we still needed to be in our house, and that we needed to have the electrical completed. The other two plumbers that I got a bid from told me that I would need to hire a company to remove the soil and treat the area where the leak was, but Jess did it all for us at no extra charge. I am beyond grateful to him. When he told me not to worry, he would handle everything, he was 100% right! His price was also very competitive and better than one bid I got by a lot. Jess has done several plumbing jobs at my house over the last several years. He replaced a washer drain pipe that was too narrow and backing up. He replaced all of my very old piping. He installed a new toilet and hauled the old one away. Most recently he moved my washer hookup so that I could swap the positions of my washer and dryer. I'm probably forgetting a few calls. Jess showed up on time and ready to work, he shared before photos to give us a visual of what he encountered during his initial inspection and prepared a written proposal on the spot before leaving. He explained what he was proposing to do and accommodated our questions even when pressed for time. The cost for the initial inspection he applied to the work dine. Scheduling work was straight forward and though he is busy, carved time into his schedule for our project. We appreciated not having to wait long to get started. He came in with a mask and paid attention to detail even noticed a prior plumber had left behind debris and old piping under the house which he removed at no additional cost (some pieces had to be sawn to remove them). He is efficient with his time and takes a lot of pride in his workmanship as seen in his after photos (even had a leveler on our pipe to show he had the correct level for proper drainage). He had a helper working with him and at the end thoughtfully cleaned up the job site. I found him on Next Door and Yelp - it was his raving fans and especially the photos of his work on Yelp that convinced me to call him. Jesus was exceptional. I needed to install these gas lines a couple of days before my flooring project started and I could not get any one on yelp or other places to perform the installation in such a small amount of time. Jesus came over to inspect everything, went to the crawl space and mapped out all the plumbing in a matter of minutes and he was ready to start on the project the very next day.
