Super cute coffee shop in the heart of the valley. The line was long to get in, so you know the coffee and food is good to the locals. I wanted to order something that might be unique to this coffee shop, so I ordered a matcha horchata with oat milk (or "matcha oatchata" as they like to call it) both hot and iced. I liked that it wasn't too sweet but still really rich in the cinnamon, creamy flavor. The matcha was quality matcha among the various flavors. One of my all time favorite coffee shops! Super aesthetic, great service, and quality coffee. I love their pastries and bagel sandwiches as well. Their hazelnut latte is sooo good and I'm not even a huge hazelnut fan. The matcha is also some of the best I've had and I am very picky with matcha. They have such a variety of flavors and coffees that anyone can find something they like. Jesse's is a true coffee gem in the valley. Not sure what happened to my prior review but anyhow here it is again... So I've been coming to Jesse's since it has opened and I've been a day 1. Unfortunately due the hours I work I'm not able to frequent this place as much as I like. Jesse first off is super hard working and it's paying. I'm so happy to see the success of her coffee shop. There is plenty of parking, there is wifi and some indoor seating. I also love the vibe in here. I love the beautiful greenery and when she has fresh flowers. Very affordable drinks, love their coffee flight and good coffee. I've been here over a dozen times idk the only thing is that sometimes the coffee is super good and a few times it has been off. I definitely have to try their bfast sandwiches next time I visit. Overall though this is a great place for coffee. Wow!! What a great experience. I live walking distance and was shocked I had never been here before. When I walked in I was greeted immediately even when they were helping another customer. The menu is straight forward and easy to read as you wait. When I got up to the registered I placed my order with ease. It was hard to pick and I can't wait to go back and try everything! I got the honey oat latte which was delicious! The flavor was outstanding and the coffee tasted so fresh. The breakfast bagel was delicious with turkey, mayo, avocado, egg, lettuce, tomato and onion with a side of jalapeño. It was so flavorful that each bite got better and better. They have a few tables to dine in and eat your food and drink your coffee. The atmosphere was so inviting and they even had cute Halloween decor up. There is a lot of parking which is nice and convenient. I'm so happy I live so close so I can come back! read more

This place is always busy! Came by on a Friday morning and saw the same crowds as I did on a weekend ! I guess the hype is as good as it gets! This time I opted for an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich! My friend and I were there eating our lunch and chatting for hours! It's a small place to sit and enjoy each others company! Albeit busy, it's like we were able to tune the outside noise and enjoy the ambience. The Breakfast sandwich was amazing! You get to choose the bagel of choice but they had already ran out of the jalapeño cheese one so come early! Served with a pickled jalapeño and tapatio packets available if you need the extra kick! Flavorful and a bit more on a sweeter side from those 4 I had, but not overpowering - rose latte. This wowed my whole world. The tint of rose was so perfect, no, excellent. And excellent on sweetness too - hazelnut late. This was the smoothest of them all . Just as smooth as it could be. - vanilla. Also great and smooth with tint of vanilla flavor. My friend had a hot dirty horchata and I tasted it as well and oh wow it was super flavorful! We also had an avocado toast. That was excellent as well. I like that the price for it was reasonable, unlike some places where it highly overpriced. The spot was clean and smelled great from the entry to the bathroom. The Dirty Horchata is ridiculously amazing, you have to try it! Today I also had an everything bagel with cream cheese; it was perfectly toasted with an ample amount of cream cheese. They also have good music, artwork, plants, merch for sale, and room to eat/drink inside with several tables. We got their matcha latte, honey lavender latte, breakfast bagel, and avocado toast and all were wonderful. We asked for half sweet and it made the natural flavors of the drinks not overpowered by sweetness. The honey lavender was really nice with a strong kick of espresso. Love the coffee, but is it worth the wait? I like to order my coffee ahead of time for the convenience and since they offer the service why not, but my coffee is almost never ready when i get there even when I give extra time. Today I did an online order for 2 drinks. My husband went down to pick it up and I waited in the car with my baby. He texted me saying that we should have just ordered in store because everyone coming in were getting their drinks before us. With that, i also noticed that two cars parked to the left of us parked, ordered and left with their coffees before we received our preordered drinks! I've also had experiences where I'd see them warm up people's food before mines and I've ordered before them. We crave their coffee because it's delicious but unfortunately service wise, we have spent sooo much time waiting for our orders that were not served to us in a timely manner from when we ordered. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in the valley. I have been supporting them since they were doing pop ups and so happy to see them doing so well. Jesse is a star and Nancy is such a delight of a person. They make the best team and their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they are true baristas. I love that they have the coffee flight where you can try different coffees and decide which ones are your favorites. I love the dirty oatchata latte, it's so good hot or iced as well as the Spanish latte, which is made with condensed milk. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and their food and pastries are excellent too! Jesse's grind is a 30 min drive for me on average and I still go every chance I get. Their breakfast sandwich is the best, it's not a frozen sandwich that they pop in the microwave. It's homemade food! Good quality everything. Feels like my grandmas cooking. I've tried the hot abuelita coffee and their dirty Horchata latte (iced). Both were amazing! Their Dirty Horchata latte is offered with either whole milk or oat milk for those who are lactose intolerant. I have never once experienced bad service here. Considering how busy they are, they get the drinks and food out with good time. They seem to have a pretty good system down. I have recommended this place to everyone I know and I will continue to do so. My only wish is that they open their 3rd location a little closer to the NoHo area. Even if that never happens, I will keep going to Jesse's grind in Winnetka. Love this place! read more

Haven't been here since the Yelp Event a while back! Decided to make a trip out this morning on the way to work. Wasn't too busy but somehow parking was packed. Managed to find a 15 min parking spot a few doors down. Parking lot is huge otherwise! Walked in and there was another lady ahead of me which seemed to be taking a while. Their system was down so the cashier had to ring her up manually and couldn't open the register which took a lot longer than I expected. I waited since I was already there and needed my morning coffee. Didn't catch the lady's name but she was very sweet and chatty about the whole issue! Their decor is very cute and earthy. They have a shelf with merch in case you wanted stuff other than coffee such as plants and other promo items. They even have a little cork board to place your business card which is super awesome. Love when places have this!! Help support other businesses locally. Finally got my turn to order a medium iced Abuelita Latte with extra ice and a chocolate chip muffin. Seemed like the system was back up so she tested it and my card went through fine! My drink came shortly after and all was well. I had a huge sweet tooth craving since last night so I wanted something on the sweeter side but still had that coffee flavor and this was it! It was basically a mocha with cinnamon. I was initially introduced to Jesse's Grind through a YEE which they held. To say Jesse's Grind is fantastic is an understatement. Their coffee, food, and service is outstanding and I will drive past numerous other coffee shops to come here. Jesse's Grind is nestled in a large strip mall with plenty of parking. They are located next to the Baskin Robbins, which is perfect when both my son and I want a treat. Jesse's Grind has tons of delicious coffee - but my favorite has to be the Hazelnut Latte. Also their chocolate chip cookies are *chefs kiss*. The breakfast bagels (before 12PM) are delicious, and although prices have slightly increased (realistically...where haven't they?) for $10 you do get a heafty bagel sandwich which will keep you full. They have a comfortable seating area (high top tables and tables, no couches) which does fill up quickly. Their wifi is free, easy to connect to, and there are tons of plugs. Jesse's Grind is also woman owned, which is a nice thing to see. And if my memory serves me correctly her mother is the one making those delicious breakfast sandwiches. A while ago (2023) they held a party in the lot which was a ton of fun, and had a lot of local vendors. So I think that Jesse's Grind does a good job highlighting and supporting their local community. read more

I came here to meet a fellow Yee to catch up for a bit and since I knew she likes this place I figured I would give it a shot! My first time here and the lady up front was welcoming and helpful with all my questions. I ended up getting a medium Masala Chai Tea latte (hot) with almond milk. I placed my order, she asked for my name and told me to grab it down on the side when I get called. Even with how busy this place was at 11am, I didn't have to wait long to grab my drink. I took a sip and the chai was creamy with loads of spices in every sip, the way a chai should be. I found a bar style table up front that we ended up sitting at, as the inside was packed and all the tables were taken. It was fine as the crowd died down so we didn't have a bunch of people around us as we were catching up. The cashier up front even asked us how our drinks were and they are tasty!
