Stopped here while traveling for breakfast. Was really surprised with how large the menu was and I like that they serve breakfast and lunch all day. There were a lot of different options. Dani our server was awesome! We had the Baja Chicken Skillet and the French toast at Jessica's and both were really good. The skillet had great flavor with the chicken, potatoes, veggies, and egg on top, and the portion was big. You know, when I moved here I was told this was the best breakfast place in the area. But the breakfast food was so over the top good that when I saw their lunch/dinner menu, we decided to come for dinner. Did not disappoint. Hot wings were some of the best I've had. Ever. Not saucy but crispy with a bit of a sting of heat. Tender and good portion. I always have to try chili if a place has it and while it was good probably the most average of all the dishes we had. Wife had chicken pesto panini and I had the Cuban. Can't speak for her but mine was excellent. Pork was perfectly tender and the combination with the ham was exactly as it should have been. Could only eat half. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It will be hard to go somewhere else in the area for any meal. It's a diner atmosphere and not a lively pub, but the food more than makes up for it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Service excellent too. Don't hesitate for that non breakfast meal here. For the same money you paid at most local pubs the food is twice as good. read more

Service was excellent but the food not so much. Ordered the waffle, it was "wet" and undercooked. Did not think that was possible with a waffle iron. Eggs Benedict was excellent but the American fries were cold and could use more time on the griddle. Was not a busy morning so don't know what the problem was. Unfortunately, badly prepared and under seasoned food (how can my breakfast skillet have chicken that is hard, dry, and overcooked and my hash browns be cold, wet, and undercooked?) French toast that was also under seasoned, under spiced, and tasted of simply bread. The hot chocolate was tepid brown water, no other drink refills, The server was nice ... when she was at the table. Which was a rarity. No check in on how our meal was. Had your biscuits and so called sausage gravy yesterday. It was pretty auful!! Your gravy is only going to be as good as the sausage you use And yours is terrible! Absolutely, no flavor at all !! This restaurant is just 2 good to serve something so sub standard ? There are so many great breakfast sausages out there ? I strongly recommend that you Try one. Fairly priced for the quantity and quantity of the food. Good service considering they were closing in 60 minutes at 3:00pm. Let me preface by saying we have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for years! They have recently overhauled their menu and with that came absurd pricing. Today our family of 4 spent $85 (including tip) for breakfast. Kids drinks were not included and cost $4 each. Skillets are $16+ and kids pancakes were $10+... the food itself was fine but not even close to worth the cost. We could've ate for less at a much nicer restaurant in Chicago. The service was/is pretty good. Our server was a typical breakfast diner server, not unfriendly but also not overly friendly with zero sense of urgency. The restaurant itself is beautiful and always very well maintained. We will most likely not be returning, it's just hard to justify paying those outrageous prices again. Wow! I have not been to Jessica's Restaurant since the late 90's. The food was great! We went for dinner. We were craving breakfast for dinner, and there are not many options that aren't chain restaurants. I ordered Nutella Swedish Pancakes. They were sooo good!! Normally I steer clear of Nutella in restaurants because a lot of places use way too much and it just becomes a "muddy" mess. They used just a drizzle, it was perfect! The Swedish pancakes were so fluffy and not overly sweet. The Swedish pancakes at Stockholm Inn always make my stomach hurt because they are too sweet. Everyone else in my party loved their food too, and agreed about the Swedish pancakes. The only thing I didn't like was the server told me that my meal came with a side, then I was charge $5.00 for the side. The meal was so large I didn't even eat the side because I was too full. Also, the side wasn't worth the calories... some sort of diced unseasoned potatoes. We will definitely be back!! read more

How can a minimum frill family restaurant justify charging $4.00 for a cup of coffee that is not that good and is grudgingly refilled if at all. Jessica's is where you go when you're back in your hometown for a long weekend. Classic diner food, best served with your high school friends or maybe your grandma. It's a clean, comfortable spot with a nice atmosphere. If you like diner food, it's the best there is and their menu is quite extensive. I wouldn't go here for anything fancy, but for a night time omelette and friendly staff, it can't be beat. PS- don't go here if you want to avoid your middle school band teacher. I have only made it to Jessica's a few times, but not because of bad service or food. Every time I drive past here the parking lot is full. We stopped in today and just barley beat the church crowd. We stopped here as we traveled through the area knowing it had only three and a half stars. The environment was cute and I so wanted to up their rating. We were off to a great start; the chicken rice soup was DELICIOUS! Next came salads which were fresh and crispy. The balsamic vinaigrette was bland, but no biggie. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and loved it! I ordered the turkey dinner special which was generously portioned. Unfortunately, the vegetables, which looked beautiful were either canned or just cooked to death. Overall it was worth going to, but it doesn't get the better rating I hoped for. read more
