Sales people present used cars as recently inspected and serviced. Nope. Just fluff. Bought a used Jaguar with a wonderfully glowing inspection report. After a drive a battery light came on and you should have heard David explain it away. Turns out the 14 month old battery was no good because the voltage regulator was bad. Easy check if a mechanic is looking but no. $2,000 later the car is running like it's supposed to run. My fault. Should have had my own inspection. Never trust these guys. Liars and thieves. Brandy, Leo, and Sergio are equally wonderful, and Savannah the receptionist is a most excellent ambassador on the phones. I've had issues with this service department quite a few times over the years. I continue to use them because I want to be consistent with our vehicle service and be able to keep track of it so when they screw up, we know who did it. One, they have absolutely no attention to detail. There is always some step they forget to complete and while it may not seem like a big deal, when it always happens, it starts to get on my nerves. Whether it's forgetting to reset the oil percentage or wash my vehicle after service and even airing up my tires to the wrong recommended pressure. All this stuff really makes me question the quality of technicians they have working in their service department. Yesterday, my wife had her vehicle serviced here. Been taking it here since she purchased her truck in 2016 and has never, EVER, had her vehicle serviced anywhere else beside getting her tires at America's Tire. Yesterday, they could not rotate her tires because they could not find the "key" for the wheel locks. Well, they must've lost the key last time they serviced her vehicle because they were able to rotate them last time and she hasn't had any other services since then. The service rep even argued with her over the phone accusing her of having her truck serviced at another shop. He ended up having to backtrack his statements when he in fact realized that she was telling the truth and has never had her vehicle serviced anywhere else. "Well, we noticed that there is an America's Tire receipt in the vehicle, so maybe they lost your key." That receipt is from 2019. Her truck was last serviced at Jessup in January 2025. Anyways, to get to the point. I'm sitting here at America's Tire to get her tires rotated and guess what? THERE ARE NO DAMN WHEEL LOCKS! Always a good experience here. Brought my truck in for $8500 worth of damage to my rear end when I forgot to put it in park, it rolled across the parking lot! Worked well with my insurance to get everything that I wanted, including helping me get upgrades! Everything was done between them and my insurance, perfectly legal. RANT - DO NOT buy a car from Jessup, especially a used one. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox from them and the sunroof has never worked. It's been "repaired" half a dozen times, motor replaced a couple times, it smokes, gets stuck, jammed, you name it. After the last time we were told "sorry, it's out of warranty now" and they aren't responsible for "fixing" it again. In a relatively small town, why would you treat your customers so badly? We've been loyal customers for years, but never again. How do you fail to actually repair something that fails over and over again and then say it's out of warranty? It has never worked! I will be contacting Chevrolet, GM, BBB and posting reviews on all social media about this dealership. Apparently they do this kind of thing to a LOT of people. SCAM ALERT. I took my 2018 Buick TourX into Jessup for an oil change (only). My car only has 28K miles on it. The service advisor told me a "major service" is needed consisting of air filter, cabin filter, and fuel system service. Total $475!!!! I stupidly agreed to it, thinking that as a dealership they must know the car and what is needed. Only when I got home and checked the owner's manual did I realize that NONE of these items are recommended until 45K miles. This was a total scam and I fell for it. I will never return to Jessup. I brought my 2007 VW GTI to Jessup for A/C service. Dropped it off on Tuesday and it was ready for pick up on Thursday. Everything went well until pick up. I paid for the repairs at 1:13 pm and was told my car would be brought around. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked one of the service clerks what was happening with my car. At that time I was told it will be up soon. After 30 more minutes I asked again. At that time one of the service clerks went to check on my car. At that time, 2:15 pm, my car was brought up front. I was told that another car was in the way. For 1 hour? Why didn't someone tell me what was going on? I'm a very patient person, but over an hour waiting for my car to be brought up front is ridiculous. read more

i bought a new escalade in 2021. i had a tire side wall cut on the 10 freeway heading back to OC in dec 2021. the tire pressure leaked dramatically on the way home and i had to stop 4x to fill tire with air to make it to OC. the next day, saturday, i called the dealership and they said to file a warranty claim. i had already gone to a tire store early that day to pay for a new tire as the tire was 90% flat. the warranty company said i needed prior approval to cover the cost of the tire i purchased. i can called jessup and talked with art ilano who sold me the tire and rim warranty. he said he would get it resolved. he admitted jessup and the warranty company didn't follow proper procedures to cover my loss. it's been 4 months since i purchased a new tire that was actually covered by Cadillac as well as the warranty company, AND STILL NO CHECK. don't trust jessup cadillac , art ilano and DON'T BUT A TIRE AND RIM WARRANTY. Do NOT come here! They are a SCAM! I bought my Cadillac CT6v from another Cadillac dealership since the one they had here at jessup had to be jump started just for me to test drive it then had the engine light on the whole time! When we got back the salesman was still trying to charge me full price! This car can't even go home with me since it has engine light on! He was telling me I won't find another one, well I did the same day in Orange County so I bought from them. Jessup is closer to my home so I decided to go to them for service, BIG MISTAKE! Everytime I would go in for an oil change they try to get me to buy new brakes and rooters! That's a minimum of 4g! I fell for that once & paid, but the second time I said no just change oil and guess what my brakes are just fine still and it's been months! Back in November 2021 I went in for service, they told me if they can keep the car because they won't have my part for about a week, I asked the guy if a rental car was covered he said yeah, he gave me the paperwork to get a Rental car from the hertz they work with. He said we will start it off with a week and I'll extend it if I need to. By week two of having the rental I got a voicemail from hertz corp saying they are going to start a criminal case against me if I don't return car! So I called the service guy I worked with ,he didn't extend the contract so he apologized and fixed it so I called hertz to make sure they said I was good. It took jessup a month to give me my car back so once I got that call I dropped off rental and got my car back. Well fast forward to March I get a letter from hertz saying I owe $1600! For that rental car that was suppose to be covered by jessup since that's what they worker told me! So I call hertz they said well sometimes the dealerships forget to pay their bill so I called jessup to let them know what's going on. The manager was so rude saying they would never do that for customers that I got the rental car so it's my issue! Maybe don't have your employees promising things to customers then! I have multiple cars so Why would I pay for a rental car! I was told it was covered so I was like okay perfect put miles on a rental rather than my own cars, especially if it's free! I ended up having to pay that $1600 since jessup didn't want to do anything and I don't want my credit dinged! Mind you the same month this hertz thing popped up I already dropped my car off with them again, so during this situation they had my vehicle! I thought it would be easier to book online since they never answer their phones! My car was making a knocking noise I knew it sounded serious so I put on the comments what I was bringing it in for. I drop my car off the guy calls me next day saying my car is done. I said what was the problem ? He said what do you mean we did an oil change. I was so mad because I just got an oil change the week before! They service guy was rude told well the oil change is $120! Your car is ready then hung up! A manager calls me back and I start explaining to him saying I only brought it in for this knocking noise which I know isn't good! He said his guys didn't hear anything but he's going to check For himself, sure enough he heard the knocking! So the workers didn't even try to do their job! Jessup had my car for a month! My expensive car for a whole month! Never did they call me to update me on anything! Never did they answer their phones or return my calls to see what's going on with my car! Only phone call I got was a month later saying it's ready for pick up and I had to ask what was wrong with it! It was the drive shaft! That is something serious! I have kids that are constantly in the car! And they were just going to send me off with an oil change I didn't even need! If you have a family definitely do not go here, they don't care about a families safety! They just want quick fixes and money! If I could give 0 I would! I also talked to an employee that quit there, they said they do that rental car scam all the time! That's the man reason they quit!
