Jessy's on Ocean View has always been a favorite of mine for satisfying my taco cravings! They have great lunch specials to enjoy, plenty of drink options along with meal options to keep your hangry at bay! Service was very friendly and food was out quickly to enjoy which was great as I was near feeding frenzy mode on my hunger scale! Number of taco options, I chose chorizo and asada to enjoy. Plus I can never pass up elote! Wash it down with a good margarita and I was one happy customer! Come on in and enjoy the vibe along with some great food at Jessy's!!

    Flautas, so good!

The food and service were great. Love the chips and salsa. Cute place with a small marker.

My husband and I moved here from Georgia and we have struggled to find a good Mexican restaurant. We both agree that this is the best we've had in the area. It is so good. We shared a molcajete and still had leftovers. It doesn't look like much driving by, but it is super cute inside. There is also a tienda, which we loved and was very well stocked. Their menu is absolutely massive as well.

I went to Jessy's last night. If you haven't been lately...it's been totally renovated and looks amazing! The staff there are the best in OV. I tried something off of the Ramen menu. I've been waiting till there was a chill in the air to order this. I saw the new ramen menu during the summer and I couldn't bring myself to order hot soup. I love traditional ramen so I was excited to try this version. There are a few options to choose from, or you can have a customized soup. I went with the Birria. It was SO good. I also had guacamole, queso, beans, and salsa with their excellent chips. I will be back to try the chicken ramen, and the carnitas fries ramen! Jessy's keeps getting better.

    Tacos! All so good!

Yum! Was down the street and needed a little snack so stopped here and was not disappointed! Place-it looks like it is currently being renovated so sat outside in a little area they still had open and covered. They also were coming right there so kind of fun and a unique experience! Service-Extremely nice and friendly. Also pretty quick too! Food-Delicious, fresh and authentic! The carnitas, shredded beef, steak, and Al pastor tacos all were so good! We were also there on taco Tuesday so buy one get one free, which is a great deal! Salsa and chips were really good! I like that it was a thicker chip and the salsa was also super fresh! Will return for sure when in the area!

Jessy's hits the spot again and again. We love bringing friends and family here when they're in town and everyone always loves the experience. Out of all their locations, this is our favorite. We love the attached store with all of the gorgeous pastries and Mexican items. Chips and salsa: amazing. We don't love that it isn't unlimited, but the $5 is reasonable. Their guacamole and queso are also both great, so we typically indulge in those, as well. I always get the lengua tacos and a chile relleno. Both are incredible. I also love their refried beans. My husband gets the mole enchiladas every single time and never waivers. Overall, awesome spot.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. I really enjoyed the horchata that I asked for 3 of them. I usually don't drink that much liquid. If you have never tried it, I suggest you try it here. I also really enjoyed the birria. It was pretty expensive, but it was very worth the 3 tacos and birria soup though. We got here around 7:30pm, so most of the crowd has gone, and the service was a little slow. There is also a cute little shop inside next to the dining area for mexican pastries and candy. There are adequate spaces to park in the parking lot.

Food service was timely and everything tasted good. Things I didn't love: The noise level is a bit loud. Certainly great for large groups and families, but not an intimate, low noise environment. I live about 30+ mins away but I remember the food being very good last time, so I didn't mind the drive at all. We were greeted by the host as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. Our server was wonderful. She was very pleasant and helped us with some of the questions we had regarding the menu items. We started with the Fresh Tableside Guacamole and it tasted great! We did order it with a "medium" spice level and it wasn't spicy at all but other than that, it was very good. Since the Street Tacos caught our eye, we both decided on those. We ordered the Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Carnitas, Chorizo, Camarón, Nopales and Lengua. The tacos were served with a variety of different sauces, ranging from sweet and mild to very spicy. Most of the tacos were delicious, our favorite was the Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Camarón. We weren't a fan of the Lengua, it was very dry, chewy and unflavored. Overall, we had a great experience. Our margaritas were amazing as well! I love the vibe of this restaurant and the food and service is always wonderful.

The location is in a small strip (which seems odd from the outside), but the interior is gorgeously decorated! Tried the raspberry and guava margaritas, which had a good amount of tequila. We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it ended up being one of those meals where everything just hit. First off, those margaritas are no joke. Massive, flavorful, and strong in the best way. Bonus: they do $2 off specialty margs on Mondays, which is dangerous knowledge now that I have it. I went with the Coco Loco Margarita (1800 coconut tequila, coconut milk, triple sec, and sweetened flaked coconut), and WOW. It was creamy, refreshing, and honestly tasted like a tropical vacation. My friends ordered the House Marg, Peach Sangria Marg and the Spicy Pineapple & Cilantro Marg, all were just as impressive. The spicy one had a great kick without being overwhelming, and the peach option was super smooth and fruity. Before we even ordered, the complimentary chips, salsa, and that famous white sauce came out ... and let me tell you, that white sauce is to die for. I could've eaten that all night. For my dinner, I had the asada enchiladas, and I'm still thinking about them. Perfectly cooked grilled steak laid over cheesy enchiladas with verde sauce, plus rice and black beans. I loved that the steak was on top because once I got full, I could still pick at the protein (elite move). My friends got arroz con pollo, carne asada tacos, and the wildest dish on the table ... the El Molcajete. It came out sizzling in a stone bowl loaded with shrimp, beef, chicken, chorizo, cactus, and all the fixings. We all shared bites and it was unreal. We ended the night with the staff singing happy birthday and completely embarrassing my friend with a sombrero and a candle in his shot. Incredible. Definitely will be coming back, especially for that margarita deal and birthdays!
