Server was friendly and had just the right amount of attentiveness. The place was moderately busy and I can appreciate that on a Wednesday. It is casual and good for family dining. We started with the mozz sticks. Wonton wrapped and had a light garlic butter coating. Marinara was solid and they were tasty. Pizza was thin crust and cooked to my liking. The toppings were scattered, per the illustrations, and the taste was good. As a Racine/Kenosha (R-K) native, where you cannot take a step without tripping over a good pizza, I always compare places to them. How does the RMI stack up to the R-K pizza? It is lacking flavor in the dough and toppings. Is is good? Yes, but it is not R-K tier. I would love to come back and try other offerings. The meatballs looked good, as did the wings! I will be back and anyone else who hasn't gone should check out the RMI. Let your taste buds decide where this pizza falls in your past travels.

The pizza itself had great balance, crispy crust on the bottom, soft inside, and sturdy enough to hold each slice without flopping. The sauce stood out in a good way, well-seasoned with a nice depth of flavor and the cheese coverage was generous without being greasy. The meat coverage was generous. What I appreciated most was that it tasted fresh and intentional, not mass-produced. Even as carryout, it held up really well by the time we got it back to the hotel. If you're in Brookfield and want dependable, flavorful pizza for a night in, Jimano's is a strong option. I'd order again.
