Many thanks to the Yelp community, for cluing me in to Jet's Pizza. While I'm not normally a fan of deep dish pizza (I prefer thinner crust like Antico usually), I was with a group of friends and we were all absolutely starving, Jet's was within delivery distance with good reviews from some trusted sources, and so we gave it a whirl. For four adults, we ordered the extra large Jet 10 pizza: a rectangular, deep dish pizza covered in mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, hamburger, Italian sausage, bacon and black olives. And forty five minutes later a monster of a pizza arrived piping hot to the front door. Let me just tell you, I put away two slices of pizza that were each easily the size of CD case and three times as deep, and I was full! It was a very well made pizza: crispy crust, solid middle that wasn't overwhelmed by the toppings (which were substantially piled on top) and not too much cheese and red sauce. The ddep dish just happened to be very filling too. Even with all of us, we still only polished off maybe half of the pizza and couldn't do anymore damage. Maybe next time a smaller pizza or thinner crust will be ordered instead. The only sticking point of the night was the website. At first, we tried to order the pizza online, but were unable to do so (something wasn't working right), so we ended up having to phone in the order. Not a big deal, but definitely something to note and correct: sometimes you just don't feel like talking to another person after being in meetings all day or all week, and having the ability to do it electronically is a really nice option. Other than that, good job Jet's. I may have to try out your thin crust pizza if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

The pizza tasted really good and delivery was right on time. The "mild" wings were a bit spicy but still good. However, the pizza was jumbled and tossed all around inside the box. I'm pretty sure it was dropped right before being delivered. It was a total mess!!!!! read more

If you like Pizza Hut you'll like Jets. It's Pizza Hut pizza without the waitress. You order at the counter and then they'll bring it out to their fast food type tables. No ambiance at all, plastic chairs under painful florescent lighting. Took a while to even get to order as the very sweet lady at register was painfully slow. Took another 30 minutes to get the pizza. Its a good place to go when you want good pizza (couple of steps up from frozen) and you want it cheap. Our large, deep dish was something crazy, like $10.99. Would be much better if they sold beer. read more

I REALLY liked Jet's Pizza- went there yesterday for lunch after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. It's in an upscale strip mall close to my house and I was finally hungry enough to eat a decent amount of thick-crust pizza, so off we went. I took my girlfriend and we decided to order three slices and a Greek salad after reading the menu. I debated about whether to get one of their really appetizing-sounding (I don't know because I haven't actually had one yet), sandwiches, but the woman who runs this location said to try the pizza, that we couldn't go wrong. She was right, and I'm glad I did. First off, it's not Chicago style- I grew up outside of Chicago, and that's deep-dish, a relatively thin crust with toppings making up the majority of the pie. Jet's is thick-crust- where the crust is thicker and chewier than a traditional pizza. Now, I'm normally not a big fan, but this is not normal thick-crust pizza. First off, the crust has a really nice crunch to it- it's really delicious and buttery as well. Seriously, it's so good, I could probably eat it by itself with nothing on it, it's that good. It's seared just enough on the bottom, but not too much. I'm actually not a fan of char, as char is a carcinogen, and my family has a history of colon cancer. And frankly, I'd rather live a long time than have some charred pizza, but that's just me. Anyway, in addition to the REALLY tasty crust, they are not stingy with the cheese and toppings here. When you go in, try and get a look at someone's pizza who's already been served- it will make you immediately want one. The toppings are generous and the cheese is perfectly melted. It looks really good and frankly, it makes the waiting for your order a little difficult. When they finally delivered ours, it initially looked like more than I could possibly eat, but as usual when I find something I love, I ate it all. Every bite. Wanted more, but don't want to be fat, so I made myself stop at two slices. If I was young and could eat like I used to without gaining weight, I'd have probably ordered another two slices, but I'm not, so I didn't. In short, I will definitely go back,and I suggest you give this place a try- hopefully you will like it as much as I did. The management seems to really care if you enjoyed your food and if you're happy, which was nice, and a big change from some of the other pizza places I've been to recently. I've been looking for some great pizza places near my house, and so far, I've got the Mellow Mushroom on 141, and Jet's, almost directly across the street. Now, I just have to find a great Chicago-style deep-dish place less than 5 miles away and I'll be set. read more

Pizza is delicious but the customer service is ridiculous. They always forget ranch if you ask for it (and you get charged for it anyways) and ALSO they are supposed to be done taking delivery orders after 9:30. That's the Jets universal standard. We've called at 9:20 a few times and each time they say they they stop taking orders at 9:15. Even though we've ordered at 9:30 before from there. So then we called at 9:15 tonight and they tell us they don't take orders past 9:00. Someone needs to figure it out here. read more

Finally! A nearby pizza place that will satisfy my deep dish craving! Ok, so it's not true Chicago-style deep dish pizza, but Jet's deep dish is pretty darn delicious. Super thick but soft crust acts as a pillow for a layer of sauce that's slightly more sweet than spicy, mounds of cheese, and your choice of topping. We went with the classic choice of pepperoni. Mmm. So good. The edge of the crust was nice and crisp and had such a great flavor. We will definitely order this again. The small was large enough to serve two people with three generous pieces each. Thanks to a coupon, we also ordered a large thin-crust cheese pizza, which we only had room to sample. (The leftovers are waiting in the fridge.) My first impression of this is that the deep dish pizza is much better than the thin crust because the thin crust doesn't have much flavor. The crust is nothing stellar and the aforementioned sauce overpowers the entire pie and seems a little too sweet in this offering. This place has great napkins: large, thick, apsorbant - I mean, these things have like 8 plies. Bravo on the napkins, Jet. The pizza? Well, do you like your pizza bland, flabby, and undercooked? Yeah, me neither. In all seriousness, you'd have a tastier meal if you picked up a frozen DiGiorno on your way home. You'll be eating that DiGiorno a lot quicker, too. Don't expect your pizza if you order online. So, we like jets and we used to order delivery from them whenever we had hankering for pizza. We would order online and the pizza would take about 35-45 minutes. A few weeks ago we ordered and the pizza never arrived. Over an hour after the order was placed we get a call letting us know that they messed up and they were closing so no pizza tonight. Better luck next time. Today my parents arrived from a trip. They wanted jets. The same thing happens. One of my parents call after an hour and sure enough, "oops, sorry. NOW we see your order." It'll be another 40 minutes. They threw in some cinna bites or whatever to make up for it. Not really my thing... but I guess my parents might like them? Anyway... Really, the pizza is pretty good for delivery. Especially the deep dish. Just don't order online. Also as a side note... they're kinda pricey for a chain pizza place. read more

Just had our 4th and final order from this place. We've done three deliveries and one pick-up and not one of the orders has been correct. Love their pizza (hence the two stars) but they just can't help but make mistakes. The owner/manager of this location isn't hiring very smart people or not training them - he's probably the problem. I usually buy a large 2-topping pizza from Pizza Hut 5 minutes away, where it provides 2 meals for me. I went to this Jet's and bought a Jet 10 with deep dish crust. It was cut into 12 pieces. This pie is so loaded and deep that 2 slices were sufficient for my meal. Thus, it takes 3 Pizza Hut large pies at $8 each ($24) to match the 1 Jet 10 pie at $22. Not to mention that the quality of the pie is so much better at Jet's. A final comment. I benchmark service to what you customarily find at Chick-fil-A. This Jet's service was comparable to CFA. It is a 30 minute drive from my home to this Jet's, else I would go more often. Fortunately, I had to be in Johns Creek anyhow. read more

Tried Jet's for the 1st time tonight after hearing co-workers and friends rave about it. I ordered the chicken parmesan pizza and the honey BBQ wings. Overall, the pizza was tasty (outside of being a little on the greasy side). and I love the deep dish style. The wings were average and basically what you'd expect from a pizza joint that sells chicken. Tasted like they'd been reheated instead of cooked fresh. Much better than some of the other chains (especially Papa John's whose sauce tastes like medicine). Customer service did not exist... at all. Placed the order over the phone and received the shortest answers possible. Don't expect to be greeted during your entrance. Don't expect the cashier to be interested in small talk. I walked in and exchanged money for product without as much as a full sentence being spoken. On approach I felt as though I made a bad choice. its strip mall location and empty dining room didn't give me that "Hell Yeah! this place must be good cuz everyone is here!" vibe. If you come in to eat you better TURBO that crust. Its a buttery, cheesy, season version of regular deep dish that really made the pie. One must be careful to judge food based on what it is instead of what it isn't. Don't compare a $7.99 all-you-can-eat pizza buffet to an exclusive pizzeria that bakes its pie with highfalutin imported ingredients, in a uniquely constructed oven and charging customers $20.00 for the result. Jet's is the best of the fast-food variety of pizza chains. I compare the square pizza at Jet's to the pan pizza Little Caesars once served in the 1980s and early 1990s, when quality was still a priority there. The only difference is that today's Jet's pizza is markedly better than LC's product ever was. My personal favorite is the Jet's Bread. It is brimming with mozzarella and Romano cheeses with a complimentary garlic flavor. I also like their thick crust, square pizza with either mushrooms or green olives. Onions and green peppers are tasty as well. I am sorry to report the pizza sauce is not overwhelming. I find it a bit acidic; I am more of a bianca pizza type of person anyway. I almost forgot about their salads. The garden salad is fresh, substantially portioned and comes with red onions, green peppers, green peppers, cheese and flavorful grape tomatoes. Any tomato that tastes like something in this day and age is worth raving about. I'd like to see Thousand Island added to the list of available salad dressings. I am hard pressed to think of another pizza chain that beats Jets in terms of overall value. Be sure to look for their coupon specials and Monday deals. Service is prompt, dependable and friendly. The takeaway orders are consistently ready on time. The devoted and hardworking owner at this location attempts to make sure her customers are consistently pleased with their food. read more

Pretty good place, I always past by here and always wondered how it was so I came to try it out for lunch, I got the lunch special which was a fountain drink and a deep dish cheese pizza which was 4.50, not a bad price! It is either hit or miss. One day the pizza is great the next time it is just okay (uncooked) They have way too many teenagers working. That is a common problem with some places, when they first open the owner of the place in working all the time. But over time the owner stops watching the place and lets the teenage staff run everything. I really like Jet's Pizza and want to see it do well. I have had more good pizza there than bad ones. Unfortunately, we picked up and it came home with bacon on it, and for religious reasons, we don't eat bacon. I called and talked to Makayla and Katherine (manager) and these ladies were professional and provided utmost customer service. They refunded the cost of the pizza and delivered another. I would give this location 0 stars if I could. We order a pizza today for pick up and it was wrong. So, they re-made it. I just knew for sure the remake would be right but it wasn't and they offered to remake it 3rd time and I agreed. Then, I received a call saying that since the 2nd remake was free they would have to CHARGE for the 3rd remake but give a discount. At this point you should give a FULL refund! I can't actually attest to the food, as I haven't eaten here. This is a review of the stellar customer service I received yesterday. It was Valentines Day, a sad occasion for me and my long distance boyfriend. He lives in Alpharetta; I live up north. We're not really into the mushy nature of the holiday and didn't plan to get each other gifts. This idea popped into my head one night: If he can't have his woman, at least he could have some pizza with his buddies! So I decided to order him surprise takeout for Valentines Day. Then I took the idea a bit further: what if the pizza was decorated with toppings in the shape of a heart? It didn't take too long to figure out my boyfriend's favorite local pizza place - Jet's, obviously - and so I phoned them up. Ron, the store owner, went above and beyond. He seemed really enthusiastic about the idea of a Valentines Day-themed pizza, and worked diligently with me to figure out a cute design and the right delivery time for my surprise. When the delivery car was running late in traffic, he took care to call me and let me know. When I asked him to put the tip on the credit card, he told me not to worry about it. All I had to do was phone my boyfriend to stall him from making his own dinner first, before the pizza arrived! He was a bit suspicious when the delivery came to the door, but Ron was kind enough to add a message from me - "Happy Valentines Day from your girlfriend" - which was so sweet, because I hadn't even asked him to say anything. I later found out from my boyfriend, who was fully sated with pizza, that Jet's doesn't even deliver to his house because it's too far away. The manager drove out there himself to deliver my order! Detroit style butter baked pizza is IMO the best style! Biting into a hot slice of Jet's bring me back to my young childhood where I grew up in Detroit eating Buddy's and Jets all the time. If you haven't tried jets I would highly recommend trying them out. For the quality of food, the pricing here is very reasonable. Seating is very limited inside. I'm familiar with this pizza chain and its concept. I like their difference in types of pizzas they have but just not my particular 1st choice. To keep a very long winded review short,I called for a delivery order, I was told to experience an average wait of 55 to 1:30 minutes for a delivery order because it's busy. No problem. About 2 hours and ten minutes passed, I haven't recieved my order. Upon calling, I was told my order was lost (not put in the system) and was not uploaded by their servers. Me, being the disgrunted hungry stoner I am, I proceeded to make the order carry-out.It would take them 25 minutes. Ok. No worries. I appear precisely at the location 30 minutes after the call. My order is still not ready but in the oven. Now antsy and irritated, I attempt to wait in the dining room. After almost waiting 3 hours to get 1 deep dish, Wings, and a Large Salad, I finally got my order. The Deep Dish, once again like the last time I remembered, is a heart clogger. I don't know how much Canola or Vegetable oil they use for baking. But its enough to kill a Wild Full Grown Sow. The wings where undercooked in the middle (which means they bake their wings instead of deep fry probably). The salad was a bit over-priced but the savior. Prices are high for what they are advertising and delivery is expensive compared to other chains. I'll spend about 40 bucks (excluding tip) for a order for myself as opposed to 25 bucks (Excluding tip) if ordering from another local restaurant in the area. When you compare this to other pizza concept chains like Mellow Mushroom, Riverside Pizza, Marco's, and even your authenic Local Italian Restaurants, it's overpriced and average at best. read more

Despite being only 5 miles away (an 11 minute drive according to Google Maps) it took 1 hour 20 minutes and 3 phone calls from the driver to get a pizza delivered to my hotel. I provided the manager with the name and he said he couldn't find the order and then said that they weren't placing anymore orders.
