Jets has been a favorite of ours since we discovered they were in South Florida (my wife is from Michigan). Sadly, I was just told they no longer deliver to our location as it is "too far" for delivery (under 8 miles, an average of 12 minutes per trip). We have driven to pick up from this location in the past and have been delivered to as well. The response from the employee on the phone was simply, "We recently cut down our delivery range. We are really far down Atlantic." To make things worse, the location in the opposite direction, about as close as this one, also decided they would no longer deliver to use. This renders our area of Deerfield Beach UNACCESSIBLE for Jets... Yet there's an exit off I-95 a half mile away and US 1 is roughly the same distance. Jets is making moves to reduce its delivery mileage to increase profits INSTEAD of delivering to an existing customer base. Unfortunately, you've lost my business and my 6-year strong word-of-mouth. This new Jet's location is great. Their Sicilian deep dish style pizza is wonderful. They're marinara sauce is super good and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese or other toppings. What do you do when you want to impress 40 kids on a Friday? You throw a birthday party and you make sure JETS delivers. Our local Jets goes above and beyond for our community and our school and it doesn't hurt that their pizza is the best in town. They delivered 10 large pizzas and a special order of breadsticks for the birthday boys piping hot and oozing with delicious. It doesn't matter if you order 1 or 10 pizzas their food always arrives tasting like it just came out of the oven. I immediately called all my family and friends after the encounter at the new Jets on Atlantic Blvd. It's the pizza we all love and it's back and operated by someone who cares for consistent quality!!! Just moved to the area (3 days ago) and had guests over we gave this place a shot & I must say Jets did not disappoint! Think our guests will be coming back just for pizza! Lol. We Had one thin crust pepperoni and a pan aloha bbq chicken THAT WAS AMAZING! crispy crust (note that I hate pizza crust and I ate the crust and all!) Best part it was delivered Hot!!! I have ordered from Jet's originally in Ft Lauderdale and fell in love with their deep dish square pizza. The sauce and the crust are awesome. I was so happy when they opened in Pompano. Recently I got a pizza that I was not happy with. After leaving an email with corporate the manager /owner called to appologize. I figured it was just a bad night. He offered me a free pizza. We used to only get the 8 corner pizza (for like 5 years, that's all we would get), but we recently branched out. The regular deep dish is even better (less greasy) and their hand tossed is also a new favorite! I really didn't want pizza that night, but when we walked in the man behind the register, who I would assume is at least the manager if not the owner, was so excited that it was our first time in that I was sold. Ordered two pizzas was told 30 to 35 minutes. I Arrived at the 30 minute mark and stood at the counter for 10 minutes. I timed it. While standing at the counter several employees were walking back and forth from the kitchen and answering the phone. They were ignoring me and now two other customers wanting to pick up their orders. The guy directly behind me yelled out that he was a Uber delivery and needed his order now. One of the employees asked what his order was and started taking care of him. I turned and walked out. On my way home I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I was told to hold please. Someone would come back on the phone every 2 minutes or so and ask me to continue to hold. I was now back home and sat in the driveway hoping the manager would speak to me. I waited a total of 8 more minutes and listened to the Jets Pizza ads. The manager never came to the phone and I hung up. They are now dead to me. my family and i went to a local movie in pompano beach. we did not have any dinner that night. as we were driving around looking for a good local pizza restaurant in pompano beach. we saw a sign jet's pizza. we stopped by there as we had a menu with coupons in our car . we ordered a large detroit style pizza , wings, salad, and drinks to take home. it was the best pizza we ever had. the detroit style pizza was so tasty as it had a great crispy delicious crust. we met the owner, nick there at the register. he actually told us what to order . we listened to him. now, we go there 2x a week there to get pizza and wings for our takeout dinner meals. we now only go there, no other local pizza restaurants. once you go there, you will become a regular customer. you can dine in, order takeout orders . try it, you will love it ! read more
