The Pizza is good. The customer service is lacking. We ordered a buffalo chicken ranch pizza from the location on Irving Park rd. Got home and found out there was no buffalo sauce on the pizza. Called back to find out if there was anything they could do about it but the person that answered the phone just told us "the person that made the pizza just didn't put enough buffalo sauce on it and they would fix it next time." Hung up the phone completely floored by the response we got. We've been ordering from that location for a while and recently we've noticed they haven't been putting buffalo sauce on the pizza. Jet's Pizza had a pretty damn good commercial slot one night - right before a new The Walking Dead started on a Sunday night! Tired of the same old flavors of commercial pizza chains, we decided to try Jet's. I guess it originated in Michigan? We tried the thick crust square pizza that boasts a crispy crust for each piece. It hit the spot so good, we live in Elgin but it was totally worth the drive. Definitely decadent and not to be eaten daily! Or not even weekly if you don't want a heart attack! I appreciate that they do not skimp on the cheese. The pizza sauce is pretty good (mind you I'm the girl that orders pizza with no sauce because I'm so picky with pizza sauce!) this sauce I can definitely live with, a hint of sweetness that isn't overpowered by tanginess. I ordered their deep dish version. It was OK, but after having Lou Malnatis pizza it is hard to give this more than a three star.. One thing I did not like is that the base and edges of the pizza seemed oily and it seemed the oil deep fried the edges of the pizza to give it a crunchy texture. I was on the way to my frineds house to watch the hawks game and wanted to eat something before I went. I have been talking about Jet's Pizza forever, but I dont live around the area so never got a chance to go. I was super excited when I got there and they said they served it by the slice, since there was only 2 of us eating we didnt want a whole pizza, they even had a special were you got 2 slices and a 20 oz soda for 5 bucks. You cant go wrong!! The crust is thick and usually I dont like thick crust, but this was crispy on the outside and garlicy soft on the inside.....AMAZING!! They had just enough sauce and cheese on it to satisfy me. Being the sucker that I am- I saw the commercial and decided to try Jets for the first time. The "deep dish" pizza looked strangely like Little Caesars, so I thought I'd compare the two. Sometimes I think I'm really a teenage mutant ninja turtle because I love pizza SO much that I could really just eat it every day..... I got the small deep dish pepperoni with garlic crust. It comes with 6 pieces, so it's enough to feed 2 hungry people. We also got the Jet's Bread- 10 pcs. The website allows you to choose a sauce to go with it, but when ordering on the phone- they don't ask. So we received marinara sauce. Ok so..order aside. The employees at this location were nice. We got it delivered and received it on time. No problem with the service at all. The pizza however....different story. It really is pretty much identical to Little Caesars..obviously. You can tell just from pictures that they're the same. The taste is definitely NOT identical. The pizza didn't wow me..nothing special. I actually prefer Little Caesars over this. I totally forgot the crust was garlic until I got a tiny HINT of it on one bite. Honestly I think that's what threw the flavor off even more. Plain crust probably would've helped it out a little. It just wasn't...good. The breadsticks, I was not a fan of either. They were quite dry for having so many toppings on them. The Romano cheese threw the flavor off for me..that's all you could taste. I think if they got rid of that, and just stuck with mozzarella cheese and a bit more garlic butter sauce on top- these would be great. The soft yet firm texture of them was fine, but that romano cheese left a bad taste in my mouth..we didn't even finish them. I will most likely never order anything from jets pizza again. Honestly I don't see anything unique about them that would make them stand out from other pizza places. The fact that their pizza is SO comparable to Little C's shows they're not really trying to be unique in any way...I'm actually quite surprised that this pizza got so many good reviews. That's what I based my trip off of and I'm never trusting you people again! Pizza is good...very different than any other pizza you've tried. Every slice has crust that a plus. Slices are only $2 and ready within minutes after they warm it up in oven. Delivery guy forgot a salad I ordered with my pizza and wings order last week I called to complain and the manager on duty told me I would be credited $8 the next time I call in an order. I called in tonight a week later to get the credit and they didn't even have anything noted under my phone # and the manager there said we only credit $5 never $8. Our go-to pizza delivery joint is Jet's Pizza. For one, it's 5 minutes away from us and we really love, love, LOVE their Jet's Bread. It's awesome! We could just order a large Jet's Bread and be happy with that. I always ask for garlic sauce/butter on the side as well. I do enjoy their pizza too, but my husband and I are really all about the Jet's BREAD. Delivery is pretty quick too. Delivery people are friendly and courteous. I believe they will soon have online ordering for delivery at this location - at least that's what their website says. Anxiously waiting for that day to come! Have ordered pizza and salads from this location for some years now. Always get my pizza done right, done on time, and I get great service when I come to pick up. Example: last night I ordered a thin-crust with four toppings. The pizza was absolutely loaded with toppings and was scrumptious. Even got a modest price break, without having asked, because management was apologetic about a couple of ingredient shortages. Shout-outs to Jeff and Ashley (Ashley took my order and Jeff rang up my order and provided the pricing)! Oh, on the salads: the bowls are stuffed full of fresh lettuce and toppings, and there are lots of dressings from which to choose. The pieces are small and easy to eat (unlike huge chunks of lettuce I get elsewhere). In summary: I know I can count on a great customer experience, that's why I keep coming back. I was recommended Jets pizza by some friends that are fans of this place. They warned me that Jets has the best dough crust and sauces and ingredients. They were exactly right. Truly the best pizza i had ever had. I ordered deliverly last weekend for dinner. I order the corner pizza. I was hesitant to order this particular pizza because i had a bad experience when i ordered one from Dominos. It was so good. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The perfect amount of time.
