I've been a customer for well over 5 years and every time I've been there, it's a pleasant experience. The first piece of jewelry I took in was my engagement ring. It was a pleasure watching Juan appreciate the beauty of the diamond. He explained and showed me details of the diamond which I knew nothing about. He showed me the serial number and said that if I ever need to take my ring in for service, to never leave without being shown that number. That won me over as a customer for life. Wow! I had such a great experience here at Jewelry Loft. I brought in a pair of diamond earrings that my grandmother gave me. I was looking to replace the settings because they were damaged, but I was afraid to take them anywhere. I decided to check out jewelry loft because of all the great reviews, and I'm so glad I did. I was greeted right away by Juan. When i showed him my grandmothers earrings, he acknowledged how special they were and said he could salvage the damaged settings!! I also asked if he could shorten the prongs a little, which he said he was able to. I got my grandmothers earrings back a few days later and they looked better than I could have imagined. We were first introduced to Juan when my husband found him through Yelp - he wanted to have a custom initial bracelet made- see photo. It was exactly what we wanted - Juan was very responsive and has amazing attention to details. He shared renderings of the design so we knew exactly to expect. After such a good experience I had an idea....... I had inherited a large gaudy gold and diamond pendant that sat in my jewelry box for decades without ever being worn (that gold nugget style is so 80s!!). I brought it in to Juan with only a loose idea......and together, we designed this stunning custom necklace that incorporates the diamonds from my original piece into something modern and so elegant that I can't wait to wear it! Jewelry Loft is definitely a store to be supporting! I was with my boyfriend to get a battery replacement for his watch, and was met with excellent service from the man who assisted him. I believe he is also the owner. He was very friendly and personable to both me and my boyfriend, which made the experience more memorable. He even showed me around the store, going over some jewelry pieces and their very reasonable prices! You can tell that he has quality craftsmanship and will really listen to your needs. This place often looks closed because there isn't often jewelry in the window, but I've found it's usually open. I walked in one day when I was passing by because I wanted to see about getting the charms from two different necklaces put onto one chain. The other jeweler in the center said they send theirs out to do stuff like that so it would take a week. This was kind of a simple thing but because of the size of the clasps I couldn't do it myself, I needed a professional. The main guy was SO nice and was friendly and chatty even though my kids were being crazy. He ended up doing it for free and in one day. It ended up exactly how I wanted it. I stop into the jewelry loft on my way from a bad experience and start looking around. I was greeted and I presented what I was looking for. I was told there wasn't something like that on their shelves but I was told "We can make that for you." They don't have much variety in store, if you are hoping to browse through several great pieces of jewelry this isn't the place for you (they didn't even have a variety of metals/colors for ring bands for either men or women) when I asked about variety they said they could custom make it or order something similar but that defeats the purpose of shopping around to see different options to find what you like. read more
