Wish i could give 5 stars because they were great on our last move in Palm Springs but the LA guys were just ok. For perspective, the Palm Springs team moved a large 2 bedroom on a 2nd floor with incredible organization in 4 hours. The way they delivered everything was super well stacked up and easy to navigate. The LA team moved a mid size one bedroom on a 2nd floor to ground floor in 4 hours with 0 organization and incredibly difficult to navigate. Unfortunately would probably not use again in LA but if you're in the desert, give them a shot! read more

It took longer than 16 months, but they refunded my money back for their very slow moving. It can never give my time back (7 hours of moving for regular 3 hours of moving), but I hope they improved their service. Fixing deserves good stars, and their hourly price was good. read more

If I could give less than a star I would but I cannot otherwise it won't let me write a review. Let me begin by saying that the original scheduled date was changed by jfk. I was flexible and agreed to the change. The start time was 8 am. The drivers didn't arrive until about 9:30 am. Sure they texted me they were on the way after 8 am. Then they texted again that the truck on full smoke and had to switch trucks. So they arrived late. The 3 men seemed inexperienced at their job as only one man was disassembling furniture while the other carried stuff. After about 4 hours the house was not even 1/2 way done. Then I was notified the crew was going on their lunch break but that the truck was full and it would take a second trip to finish the move. When I hired jfk I was asked how many bedrooms I was moving I told them going from 4 bedroom to another 4 bedroom house. I have moved over the past 10 years about 4 times and always moving the same amount of furniture, and it never took a second trip. I didn't te-hire the previous moving company since they operate out of the valley and decided to go with local in Orange County. Huge error. Even the cops had to get involved when the crew threatened to take our furniture and demanded pay and tips when they weren't willing to finish the job. The foreman Husan took of with out staff without telling us they were leaving and had left furniture and loose items behind. Then threatened that he would not return to the old house to get the rest of the stuff saying we will see about that and texting me they were at the new location when his "boss" who wasn't his boss after all said "I'll take care of it" I'll talk to Husan to go back." Didn't happen. At the new location they demanded payment and refused to finish the job and pick up the rest of the furniture left at the old location. We asked for the job to be completed as agreed by "Josh" the boss at Jfk who promised that even if the job went over the agreed upon time, the job would be completed. Well the foreman Husan was not doing that. He threatened to drive off with our belongings unless we paid him without finishing the job. We then had to call the cops. The cops came out and told jfk movers they couldn't just keep our belongings. We settled for the previously agreed time which was 7.5 hours as promised by "Josh." They still didn't finish the job. The furniture ad miscellaneous items were left at the old location. The driver was racist toward me because of my ethnicity as Husan refused to accept my tip and said " no we don't deserve that so keep it" to which I replied in agreement except that one of the guys was Hispanic and never said a bad word to us, never argued, never badmouthed us unlike Husan and the driver who happened to be White and was upset that only the Hispanic guy was tipped after the foreman rejected the tip by shouting at me "Latino power!" because he assumed I am Latino or look Latino in my own property shouting at me and my son saying he wasn't going to unwrap "not doing it for that little kid" referring to my son. The foreman Husan started this whole ordeal because we called his boss "JoSh" and complained that the job was taking too long and he had the audicity to confront my family about "talking bad about him and his few behind his back." After that they turned into complete irrational people and behaved completely unprofessional let alone made racist remarks. Left out new house a mess and their trash st the old location demanded a tip and refused to finish the job. Please see some images. Do not hire this company. They are not professional. We felt terrible because they had already completed a morning job and here we were, keeping them until about 10:30 PM on a Friday. They were efficient, careful and very nice. JFK Moving came through for me when I was in a jam. I had rented a truck to move a dining room table and chairs, but wound up having no help on the other end and needed to return the truck. I messaged JFK through Yelp asking for a quote. I explained I didn't need a truck just a couple of movers to get the substantial table out of the truck and into the house. James responded within a few minutes with a reasonable quote (no minimum 3 hours, or we only send movers and a truck, or other conditions) and said his guys could be there in about 40 minutes. They arrived and got the job done in short order. Yes, this was a small job, but you can bet I will use JFK again, small job or large. read more

I had used this moving business last month, and it was straightforward to address my needs with the owner (Jack). I started getting quotes from numerous movers, but their rates were unreasonably expensive then I found JFK to be acceptable in the cost for three guys with a truck. I spoke to Jack before setting an appointment two weeks before the moving date. There is a 50 dollar security deposit for appointment scheduling in case a customer changes their mind and can also be used on a moving date. I had an excellent experience with JFK. I did my research and found that JFK had a better rate than other moving companies. I moved from a 3 bedroom home to a 5 bedroom home. Stairs in both homes (no extra charge). Alex and his team were on-time. They really took care of wrapping our furniture and bringing them carefully to each location. I really appreciate how they would answer my aunt's questions about what needs to be done. Very polite and focus on the work. First two hours, they wrapping and loaded my dining room (dining tables and chairs), my living room (2 sofa, 2 tables, 1 tv, and tv stand) and one of the bedrooms (bed frame, 4 cabinets, computer table, and closet clothes) Tip: for faster service, I recommend you disassemble what you can, pack the items ahead of time in a box and set them in an area easy for the movers to pick and go. read more

If you need help moving use this company!!! I am beyond satisfied. Not only did they have extremely respectful, hard working, genuine people help me but they had amazing customer service. My storage unit closed at 5 and my window was 1pm-4pm so I got concerned that we wouldn't make it before it closed, but Adam made sure that he got people over there as early as he could so I had enough time. The guys showed up at 3pm(I only asked for 2 movers but they sent a 3rd guy to help pack up) and they hustled nonstop and had everything packed up by 3:45. They showed on a very hot day and moved a large sectional couch (disassembled), an awkwardly shaped recliner, and an antique office chair. My mother was impressed with the two man crew who showed up and they had the truck loaded in a short amount of time. About 30 minutes later they pulled up to my house (two towns over) and had everything in my living room in about 30 minutes. They were careful and obliging, and had I been ready to set things up, I felt confident they would have done that for me. Definitely a great experience. read more
