Horrible, horrible experience! I have taken my car to the Alhambra location got home parked my car and the next day noticed a 4ft wide puddle of oil. I took my vehicle back and was told something was broken it wasn't there fault they lied they never tighten the oil pan bolt, fast forward to my recent oil change I took it to the LA location and I had the same issue! I had to lift the car up and tighten the oil pan bolt. Fast forward to last week I decided ti do my own oil change and had so much trouble taking off the oil filter cap, it was extremely extremely stuck it took me 2 days to remove it and different ideas and tools, coke to find out my oils filter was never replaced in the last 3-4 oil changes I've taken it to jiffy lube yet they charge $100 dollars everytime. There might have been a couple extra things they could have done but I can't think of too much actually. I was satisfied with the service!!! When they say 15 minutes they really mean it I got there at 3:54 and I was out by 4:09 p.m. They were quick and friendly and honest. I really appreciated the service today I normally go to my dealership but I got the message on my car that my oil service was due and I don't like to go beyond a few miles when that happens so I was near a Jiffy Lube but I decided I would try it out the Alhambra Jiffy Lube on Fremont Avenue is excellent. What's really cool as well as the great service is there is a woman working there as an oil change specialist I just think that's really cool. I would definitely use them again. I'm on a budget and while they didn't honor the actual coupon that I brought in because it was not for synthetic oil they did give me a discount coupon. I appreciate their fast efficient service. Ask about labor fees. There was fast service, and amicable people. I don't like feeling like one was put over me and I felt a little like that from this experience. Labor fees not disclosed up front until after the work was done. My plan was for an oil change only, $29. Cabin filter exchange was advised and changed, I didn't ask for it to be checked, cross sold, $33. Labor fee $25, as much as the oil change. Fees were not reviewed at the end either. Went to another jiffy lube like three years ago and really don't remember the labor charge for an oil change. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I think I've paid a labor fee for an oil change. Kind of excessive when you take into consideration the work that was done. And they snuck in an 1.80 antifreeze fee as well, I have that at home. Kind of disappointing. I guess I paid for convenience. Don't bother going. They gaslight you into believing that you asked for a service that you didn't even asked for. I went to get an oil change and then they do extra stuff that they don't even tell me. They overcharge for an oil change as well because it's a "new car". Just go to Toyota or your local dealership, they save you so much more money. But it's quick! Got a tire rotation at this location and immediately noticed that once I drove past 50mph my car would shake like crazy. I googled this and everything I read said it had to do with the tires. I brought the car back to see if they could fix the issue. They refused. All I wanted was for them to reinstall the tires. But they would not offer any help. Instead they claimed my tires were not balanced. I then brought my car to a mechanic. I explained the situation and the mechanic checked it out and said that Jiffy Lube has improperly put the tires on. My first time using Jiffy Lube for an oil change and I'm giving them 3 stars. It's not that their service is bad, it's efficient and really fast. It's just that I'm not used to how they do things, because I usually go to Valvoline so I have a point of comparison. The difference between my experience with Valvoline and Jiffy is mostly the level of details and transparency. Valvoline thoroughly explains to you why they did this and that and give recommendations needed for your car without me even asking, which is good for someone like me who doesn't know anything about cars. I guess I was expecting the same level of service from Jiffy.  They just changed your oil and that's it, so you won't really feel a value for money from their service.  It's fast yeah, but the level of customer service is different. read more

Update 5/2/2020 Came in for an oil change and they have a good drive through setup where you can stay in the car and the workers will come out to service your car. Everyone had masks and gloves and service was quick - 15/20 minutes out the door. Worker that helped me (didn't catch her name) was courteous and not pushy at all. --- Note that this is my first experience with an oil change station - I usually go to my mechanic but I wanted to grab a quick oil change and so I decided to check out this location. Service was prompt and workers were kind and accommodating. Wasn't pushy or stubborn in having me check out the more expensive options. I was in and out in probably 30 min? Had one minor issue after I drove away - the glovebox wasn't securely latched back into place so I had to put it back in. I left some feedback just as an FYI to the store and was contacted almost immediately by one of the managers,Jorge who was sincere, courteous, and helpful. I was there today for an oil change. I had a coupon for a free tire rotation, so asked for that as well. I'm a rescue dog transporter, I drive about 1,500 miles a week. It was about 3:30 pm Monday...I was able to pull in and got greeted right away ..and due to Covid protocols, was told to stay in the car as the oil was changed. I just got my oil change, it was done rather quick. It was a bit weird to me that they didn't show me the old oil neither did they show me the new oil. I asked them to show me the new oil, the guy did show me they were polite and fast. I got home parked on the driveway moved my car 1 hour later and spotted a puddle of oil. Besides changing the oil, having the suspension joints lubed is at the top of your list for good maintenance. It used to be automatic with an oil change. After JL had begun the oil change, I asked to assure lubing the joints was included. The manager replied that the grease gun was broken. I then asked the clerk that checked me in - he said (and did) check with the crew. They said - No they couldn't do it, no reason. For $30 they could've walked to the local auto parts store and got a grease gun, just to do what needs to be done. Nope, too difficult. This review is long overdue. I should've known better, but... I took my car to Jiffy Lube in Alhambra. As expected, they tried to upsell me on Synthentic Oil, an air filter, and a cabin filter; this included pulling my existing filters to show me. I declined the filters, by the way. The oil change was done within 15 min. Despite me double checking that all components were in place, I left. 1.5 months later, I found oil leaking considerably from drain plug. Here is what I found: - before draining thee oil, I took the looked at the (oil) dipstick to find that it was overfilled - when I took the drain plug out, I found that there was no crush washer... ***an oil change shop that prides itself on... OIL CHANGES... overfilled my car by 1 quart (measured from draining; this doesn't include the amount that leaked) and did not install a crush washer. In a way, it was better off leaking due to the overfill... - last but not least, the air filter box was not clipped and the air filter was sticking out... Pretty simple oversights could have cost me my engine. I'd say "you get what you pay for", but if you're paying over $100 for an oil change, the simple things should at least be done right. I spent more money to correct these mistakes. I'm embarrassed to say that I've seen publicized reports of Jiffy Lube in the past... and I still took a chance at going to one. This, after I read some of the recent reviews at this place. I hope that some type of review or audit is done at this place in the near future due to the negligence taken during and OIL CHANGE. read more

They put the oil Pan guard back incorrectly. Screws were missing so the piece underneath my car began to scrape and became bent and now had to be removed.
