I was maybe the 5th car in line and literally waited less than 30 mins. They greeted me immediately and offered refreshments. Had my oil changed here once as part of a promotion they were offering. Big mistake. Flash-forward to my next oil change with my normal service mechanic and discovered that the oil pan was damaged when Jiffy Lube inexplicably replaced my car's oil pan drain plug - without my knowledge or consent - with a drain plug that wasn't made for my vehicle. Consequently, they damaged the screw threads on my car's oil pan and now the pan needs replacement. I wish they had simply said my original plug was damaged and needed replacement; or perhaps they lost my original plug when servicing my car. Instead, they took it upon themselves to "fix" it by installing a plug that was not meant for my car. Now, instead of buying a replacement plug for less than $10, I must buy an new oil pan at approximately $200 (plus labor). Of course, I cannot prove anything nor make a claim against them since the oil change in question was several months ago - if they had only told me, I would have taken care of it myself. Will never use them again and do not recommend going there. read more

They got my oil change done but it took an hour and fifteen minutes. I was in line as the next car to go into a bay and they moved me in favor of another customer. They lost two of the bolts on my air filter and tried to cover up for the mistake by telling me it had already happened. The sales guy kept coughing and then wanting to shake my hand. The sales guy was also a little squirrely and hard to understand while he tried to upsale me a bunch of services. I've had much better experiences with the one in Annapolis. read more

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I just wanted an oil change. What I ended up with was a month-long nightmare. Everything was fine until I drove away and heard scraping coming from the engine. Not a good sign. They forgot to reattach my skid plate. By the time I turned around and returned, the skid plate was gone, left on the highway torn off somewhere. I needed the entire thing replaced. I was told 'no problem, we will get it fixed in a week'. I try not to freak out and give them the benefit of the doubt, but two weeks go by and no one contacts me to get it fixed. Kept trying to call the number but it was disconnected half the time and kept getting an error message. Couldn't even leave a message. I had to hound them until they finally got back to me to schedule. I show up to get my car fixed, tell them why I'm there, it was understood and I go inside to wait. Instead of fixing my car, they stupidly start to give me another oil change. I had been there an hour and not one person had even started the repair. Another hour later and they are finally done with the repair (over 2 hours total) but based on the level of intelligence in the place, I am highly doubtful my car is repaired properly and now have to take it to another place to get checked. All because I wanted a quick oil change. When I asked for a receipt of the repair, the guys looked at me like I had 2 heads. They didn't understand my request. When I explained again that I needed something showing they repaired my car, they finally got the manager. He was clearly on some sort of drug or drunk and was sleeping in his car. To be honest, he looked homeless and high. It was very uncomfortable to watch this person, as nice as he was, stumble through his job. I don't know how this person became the manager but it is scary how little these guys understand basic things like how to give a receipt for service and how to put pieces of a car back so nothing gets damaged. These are nice employees and as long as they do everything right, it's fine. Unfortunately, if something goes wrong, we are dealing with the bottom of the barrel and there isn't any sort of management or even response from the owner that will help. This place cost me time and money as my car has been running terribly ever since. I will NEVER go to another Jiffy Lube again, especially this one. Stay far away! They will damage your car and leave you with the mess. Do NOT recommend this or any other JL service unless you like taking risks with your car to a bunch of imbeciles. read more

I went to this jiffy lube in November 2014. It was a Sunday morning and I was the second car there. Even though I was the second one there I wasn't the second one out. They were very slow, but what really sunk them is as I left I heard the sound of metal hitting the ground... Never a good sign. I pulled over down the road at AACC made sure there were no fluids dripping out. Checked the oil. Made sure it wasn't getting hot or acting funny before I left. I came to the conclusion that a technician left a wrench on my skid plate and that's what the sound was but good lord it gave me a scare. They're simply the worst. Haven't been back since. read more

Jiffy Lube in Arnold is a Jiffy Lube which already has a bad reputation. The Arnold Jiffy Lube does not rotate tires correctly. I marked my tires before going in. and I watched them just switch the front and back tires without rotate crossing the back tires. AND AGAIN in case I missed something the tire marks confirmed it. If They can't take the 20 seconds to rotate the rear tires God knows what else they do wrong. And this time, they ran out of the affordable synthetic blend oil, and UPCHARGED me for higher grade oil. I approved it, but the choice was that or leave. read more

These guys changed my oil and started my truck without the oil filter on. All of the oil immediately ran out all over the engine as my truck ran for 60 seconds without oil in it. Worst of all, they tried to deny it and the franchise owner was less help than the guy that changed the oil. My advice, stay away from this place. read more

If they had a zero star option for rating I would give it. Horrible service. I go in for a oil change my truck is running perfect. When they get done I go to leave my truck has trouble starting. I ask if they had touched my battery terminals and they denied it. After looking further the truck was only connected on 1 battery so they did touch the battery's. I get that resolved and left. When I leave I TRY and come to a stop but it turns out I have no brakes. My rear brake line is snapped in half. I go back and they say that there's nothing they can do about it and that they didnt do it. Total BS. Very horrible work. Spoke to the manager he was very confrontational. I wouldn't take my sister battery operated toy jeep to this place. Just down right horrible!!!!!!! read more

Last three times I went here: First time, they tried to sell me a quart of antifreeze I didn't need for 10 bucks. Second time, they again tried to sell me a quart of antifreeze. I know I didn't need any because I can see that the overflow reservoir says "full" on it. Plus it took them more than 2 hours to get the services done (oil and transmission oil change.) They did knock 10 bucks off the bill for that, I will give them that. Third time, just an oil change and tire rotation. Took two hours. Nothing "jiffy" about this place. I was the last one out the door, and I know for certain that there were plenty of people who came in after I did that afternoon. I will grant that they are friendly and courteous, but jeesh, they really have to step up their game. Probably won't go back; the only reason I went here in the first place was because I value my time, and they wasted it. I could have gone anywhere else (lots of grocery receipts have great coupons on the back, hint hint) and waited around. read more

Do not ever go here! I never take the key fob out of my car so it is buried deep in my console. They took it and very slyly held my door open so that I could start my car and drive away. Halfway home I got the NO Key warning. Drove straight back there and asked them to give me my key and they denied ever having it and said "it must have flown out the window". Meanwhile apparently there is a nice price on eBay for used fobs. Filed a police report but will ever go back here again! read more

I would rate this business a ZERO. On 20 July 2018 my son took my SUV in for a regular oil change. During the service my vehicle was damaged. The Manager of the facility quickly accepted responsibility for the damage and provided me with Operations Manger's name (Brett Davis). Mr. Davis was very difficult to track down as I was never given a phone number to contact him but, rather an email address. After much back and forth Mr. Davis finally agreed to provide payment for both the repair to my vehicle as well as the rental car for the duration of the repair. Mr. Davis indicated that he would reimburse the repair shop directly after some discussion as to the "suggested inflated cost" of the repair estimate. Mr. Davis did take action to complete this payment. As discussed , I then submitted a copy of the invoice for the rental car (I was mindful to select the most inexpensive option) to which it took Mr. Davis a week to respond. After several follow up emails Mr. Davis indicated that he had mailed the check to me on 27 August 2018. It has now been several days and at least two phone calls to the Jiffy Lube headquarters and I have yet to receive this check via US mail , today is now 6 September 2018. I do not intend to use this facility ever again and would suggest no one else do either unless you wish to spend a significant amount of time and energy tracking down Mr. Davis in the event your vehicle is damaged during service. read more

I have taken my car here quite a few times for an oil change and each time, the place is getting progressively worse. They have tried to sell me air filters that weren't needed and it is no longer a very quick process. I just went last week and they told me I needed my tag light changed and it would be around $12.00. I told them to go ahead as it would save me time. After about 10 minutes the "tech" came in and said they couldn't do it because it requires them to pull off the interior part of the tailgate door to access the light. Basically, they only do the "easy" stuff. I went home and googled how to change the tag light and, low and behold, the tag light assembly above the license plate just pops out and the bulb just pops out as well. There was no need to access behind the interior of the door. They clearly don't hire based on experience or ability. I realized if they can't handle doing something as easy as changing a tag light, why would I trust them to do anything that is even slightly more complicated let alone something like brakes that would mean the difference between being in an accident or not. Do not trust these people at all!! read more

I've been to this location many times and always get great service there. The crew is very friendly and the mechanics are very knowledgeable and do my service with a smile. I began using the Jiffy Lube in Arnold several months ago, with commuting from the Eastern Shore to Baltimore daily, I put a lot of miles on my car. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received, from the time I pulled up I was greeted, walked into the establishment, offered a seat, called ma'am, had doors held for me, given clear explanations of needs vs service performed, walked to my car, again door held for me, door to my car opened and told to have a nice day. What a pleasure each and every employee was, and I thought, is this just a fluke? So next time I needed service, I stopped at the same location, and again, was greeted immediately, and shown the same courtesy. Obviously they have worked on their service levels, given the other reviews I read today. I was so impressed, I felt it necessary to take time to write a review myself. read more
