I haven't been to this location in many, many months because of its poor service. I was in the area and really needed an oil change, so I stopped by. Wow! I was at 620 location two Saturday's ago, had motor oil change on 2022 Yukon Denali, service tech mentioned that it had been leaking oil, he mentioned that I should had been notified during last oil change, I told the tech that they at Jiffy Lube changed the oil (crickets) only to find out that once again Jiffy Lube did not tighten the oil filter. The filter was loose, leaked oil, took it to the dealer thinking that it was a defect on the vehicle to find out that the filter was leaking motor oil because it was not tighten all the way. My Change Oil Light/Message came on and it seemed a little to early, but I brought it in anyway. They looked at the vehicle and let me know I had a lot more miles to go before it needed to be changed instead of just changing the oil. I admit that you do not need to have your vehicle serviced every week, but I will easily recommend this location to all those I know in the area. The service team at this location are always courteous with an open door, cleaning of your windows, and a quick vacuum of your vehicle. They always provide you the "upfront" information about your service visit. Additionally, when we plan our long road trips my wife is able to drop in without an appointment and get the vehicle a "once over" before the trip. They ensure that your tire pressure is correct, washer fluid is full, and point out anything else that may need attention. FREE! If you need your State Inspection, this has been the best place for it. Most weekend mornings (when I am not working) have been very easy to pull up and get it done. My friends come here with my recommendation during the work week since they now know how fast they tend to your needs. The location is not directly on Interstate and just a small ways off of the Tollway. They are on RR620 in a subdivision area, nestled away from the hustle of main locations which results in low crowds, constant business, and dedicated customers to keep them at a busy pace while not taking your day away waiting on a service. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram that has received service at this Jiffy Lube several times. They always do a good job of looking over the vehicle and keeping it running. I was hesitant to take my late model Honda Pilot because of all the computer and technology needs. So I originally took it into a Honda Service Center. I was highly disappointed and drove straight to this Jiffy Lube. They took great care of me and the car. I'm not a technology friendly person and prefer manual handles when rolling down my windows or even better yet things with two wheels, but I felt like the service personnel knew plenty about the late model car. The staff has always been polite and never pushy about adding on other services. They do a great job of keeping the vehicles flowing in and out and the wait is never too long. There is a Subway next door if you are hungry but your car will be ready before you have time to dine in. read more

I would like to start off by saying, I don't typically jump right into writing reviews of franchises. I like to give people a chance. However, after multiple phone calls to this location to continually be told "the manager just left", then multiple calls to corporate where I was told the owner would be reaching out, and if they didn't, corporate world step in... Then following up after the allowed 48 hours (then 72 hours...) had passed, only to be told, "you'll have to take it up with small claims court" - I have to write this. Beware the negligence and unprofessional nature of the staff here. They might be fast, but turns out that when they screw up they do everything in their power to avoid acknowledging the problem. I have an Infiniti Q50 sport. My car is my baby and I'm meticulous about keeping it clean and in good condition. My fiance brought it here on a Saturday to have the oil changed. He noted that the guys seemed too busy talking about how nice my car and someone else's Tesla were, but they got him in and out quickly. I didn't drive anywhere on Sunday, but I got something out of my car and noticed they got grease/grime on my usually very clean carpet. Irritating, but not the end of the world. However... When I went to work on Monday my car was making a noise. First just a quiet rattle at high speeds. But on my way home from work it had progressed to a very loud noise and being unable to drive above 35mph without feeling like something was being damaged. We called the Infiniti dealership - my car is under warranty so they picked it up to look at and were told I'd just had an oil change. They later called to say we ought to get in touch with our oil change place, because they screwed up. I was shocked at what they found. The splash guard was not installed back on my car correctly and none of the bolts/clasps were tightened. Things were literally rattling off. I lost pieces and the under side of my car was damaged due to Jiffy Lube's negligence. I tried to start out just by speaking to a manager to let them know what happened and try to get them to clean my carpet. I didn't really want anything else out of this. But NO ONE reached back out, like they thought that the issue would just go away or could be swept under the rug. I find that utterly and completely ridiculous. Poor look, Jiffy Lube. read more

Pretty upset with Jiffy Lube right now. I just spent $6000 for some body work and a new paint job on my 2004 Toyota Celica GT. Today (6/8/2019 around 4:00) I took my car to this location to get an oil change. Upon leaving Jeffy lube and arriving at my next destination I noticed that the employee who did my oil change scratched my hood. I know for a fact that it was them as I spent over an hour this morning washing this car and drying it to be sure there were no streaks and should have noticed it. I will not be coming back to this location or any Jiffy Lube EVER, unless they agree to pay for the damages to be repaired. Man I am pissed! read more

all the employees are hard working and nice. david parker from what i understand is the gm there is beyond rude it appears he sits in the office the whole time and i would quit so fast if i was his employees. he talks so beyond foul to them he's rude and he came out to "help" when my car was basically done and ended up "needing to look at something" and proceeded to mess with my car for 1 hour while i repeatedly said i didn't need more work done. I was treated with EXTREME disrespect here. I was talked to like a 12 year old, given very unclear orders and the workers became frustrated when I didnt pull my car into the EXACT place they wanted. once I finally got my car parked I was told "I clearly don't have to ask if you've ever been here before" um ?? and then once we got inside I was told my OIL CHANGE was going to be $90 ?! why adversity it as $25 when its over 3X that amount?? I left and I will not ever be returning to this location I took my money else where with those that give me respect. I've been going to this location for a few years now. It's a while north from where I live, but on the bright side it's close to my parents house which means free food. Obviously I can't turn down that combination. This place is by far the most professional and caring Jiffy Lube I've ever been to. I wont go near the locations in the north campus area of Austin. I had a horrible experience there. We wont talk about that. What we should talk about? The amazing clarity and honesty of staff at this location. They wont pressure you with services you don't need. They follow the manufacturers schedule by your car's make/model. They always have coffee and water ready and waiting. Let's face it, we all get up early to get vehicle maintenance out of the way to get on with the rest of our days. Nice people, if you're in need of an oil change or inspection, this location just makes sense, especially if you live nearby. read more

J went to Jiffy for his state inspection a few months ago. It took over an hour because they were busy but they got the job done. Tip: Call first before you go. Since I mainly drive J's car due to the car seats, it wasn't until a few days later that what to my wondering eyes did appear?? A crooked inspection sticker! Now I have to look at this leaning tower of Pisa sticker for the next year. When J offered to take my car in for its inspection, picturing his crooked sticker, I politely declined his sweet offer. When I finally did make my way to Jiffy for my inspection, I politely and through a smile, told the guy, "Please, for the love of God, do not put my window sticker on crooked or I'll blow a gasket." He laughed and said, "Oh, that drives me crazy too!" and promised it would go on straight. He did me a solid because he made sure the other guys knew too. They even let me apply my own window sticker, under the watchful eye of the service guy. While I was there, J sent me a number of text messages reminding me not to let them upsell. Guess he had an past experience there with that. They didn't bug me though. read more

I have to give props where props are due. These guys were sooo nice! They recommended services but weren't pushy and worked quickly and professionally. They even offered me several discounts lowering the price on two of my services. All around a great little place to get the basics. This was our first time stopping by at Jiffy Lube and the service and the courteous of the staff took us by surprise! As the other yelper said "Fast service, cleanliness, and professionalism", I felt the same way. We needed to stop by for the state safety inspection check for new comers. The person who helped us, who happens to be the manager of the place, was very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially for those from out of state who needs their vehicles to be inspected for registration. Real happy with this guys. I took my truck in for inspection and they could have charged me all the fees and then failed me. Instead, their guy walked a block to find me and tell me that there was no point in doing the inspection since the "check engine" light was on and that was an automatic failure. Four attempts to get a state license inspection which takes about 15 minutes. Attempt 1. Arrived 640pm to be told we close at 7 and I don't have time come back tomorrow 7am-7pm Attempt 2. Returned following day at 5pm and was told inspector had gone home for the day. Attempt 3. Told to return in an hour they were too busy. Attempt 4. Returned just after an hour and was told 5 minutes. Waited for 45 minutes and still no help so I left. Average age for employment looked about 16 so I'm guessing cheap labor whilst the schools are out. read more

My wife called at 6:45pm to let me know there was a problem. Great...here we go... She was at this location and just stopped for an oil change. However, there was a problem with the oil change which rendered the car immobile until they could get a part in the morning. Oil filter thingy stripped/jammed/gummed-up. I talked to Josh at the location who explained over the phone (a bit more eloquently) and apologized that they could not get anything done until parts were available from a dealer in the morning. He asked if I would be able pick up my wife and son, or how else we could handle the situation. As I was calculating how much more the up-charges would run in my head while heading to the car Josh said, "since we were the last people who touched the part, even though the last oil change was at another station, we take full responsibility and will additionally perform your full service free of charge. Two employees stayed at the location, past closing, to visit with my wife and young son until I arrived. The next day I received a call about 9 am. All done and ready to go. An employee picked up the part on the way in to work. Even an offer for transportation. No charge for full synthetic. They turned an unfortunate situation in to a future regular customer via good old fashioned and friendly service, with an attitude to do whatever it takes to make it right, as soon as possible. We won't be back. First, they replaced the oil but then left something loose which caused the car to lose all the oil on my husbands way to work the next day. Then, we get a "free" service as a make-good. But they don't tighten something else up enough, so the car is dripping oil. We take it back- they fix it. Then- and now I'm just irritated- we run out of windshield wiper fluid, and isn't it standard for them to top off that stuff? Anyway- they aren't the cheapest, so I expect much less disastrous experiences from them- with or without the wiper fluid. read more

Usually these guys are fast and friendly and I've used them on and off for a couple years. Yesterday went for an inspection and oil change. I was told the inspection guy doesn't come in until 11:30 (must be nice) and they were sorry. They said call ahead. Next day, I called at 7:45 am and asked when the inspection guy comes in. I was told 9:00 am. Showed up at 9 am and was told the emissions equipment had been broken since 3 pm the previous day after he had consulted with the manager.
