Got there, no wait, and they guided me right in to the service bay. They gave me the option of conventional, blended or full synthetic then got to work. This morning I stopped at Jiffy Lube #2477 for an oil change. Kellie G. was efficient, courteous and professional. She first checked to see if they had the appropriate filters in stock. The air filter wasn't available, but she told me I could purchase one at most any auto parts store. The facility was clean and well-organized; highly unusual for an automotive repair shop. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I purchased an air filter, went back to Jiffy Lube and Kellie G. was more than willing to change it. Once she opened the compartment and removed the air filter she didn't see any reason to change it as it looked barely used. Kristie T. and Hunter H. also took a look at the filter and saw that it was clean and didn't need changing. The team at Jiffy Lube #2477 are professionals and it is clear to me that they love what they do. I will absolutely return to this location. Highly recommend! read more

I usually go to the one on Stassney because it's closer to my work. I stopped by this one b/c I've heard good things. They told me that it'll take about 35-40 mins for an oil change. I'm like, great! As a former GM for a Jiffy Lube in Austin, I was expecting more from these techs. Especially a manager. My wife and I went to this location on a Saturday, granted they had 4 cars in the bays already, all we needed was a tire pressure check since our TPMS light had come on. We were greeted by a manager within 3 minutes, she asked what services we needed. I told her I knew they were busy but all we needed was a tire pressure check. She instructed us to pull around front and someone would take care of us. When we pulled around she was there to "check our tire pressure." It took her less than 2 minutes to check all 4 tires. She proceeded to tell us that our tire pressure was good at 40 PSI all around and we would need to take it to the dealership because our TMPS sensors must bad. Since I worked for a dealership as a tech for the exact car I own I know exactly how the TPMS sensor works and I know all of the indicators for a "bad" sensor. It took her 2 minutes to check all 4 tires, all which had valve caps, and diagnosed my sensor as "just bad". Needless to say I was not happy. I immediately went to the nearest gas station and used their tire pressure gauge and read all 4 tires. PSI was only at 29 PSI. WAY BELOW the manufacturer recommendations of 35 PSI. While checking the tire pressure it dawned on me that this manage never even removed the valve caps in order to check the pressure! As not only a former Jiffy Lube GM but also a technician and service adviser for a major dealership in Austin I am very disappointed in the service we received at this location. Something as simple as checking tire pressure was too much for this manager to handle. Tire pressure is one of the easiest jobs but apparently is way too much work for this manager. Needless to say even with this location being right down the street from our house, we will be making the 30 minute drive up north to our dealership for any maintenance needs. read more

As always, when in doubt go to Yelp. I didn't know where to get my oil changed in Austin, so I asked the Yelp. The Yelp did not steer me wrong. This location is really awesome. They're efficient, helpful, friendly, and they don't try to rip you off. The guy that helped me out happily sold me the most standard oil (didn't try to upsell the $90 bottle) and asked me whether I had gotten my tires rotated recently instead of just telling me that I "need" it. I did end up spending a lot, though, but that's just because I needed my windshield wipers replaced. Solid place, definitely worth driving a bit out of your way. Oh also they offer you a free car wash across the street just for getting your oil changed. How awesome is that? read more

ABSOLUTE LIFESAVERS! My transmission overheat light turned on about 2 miles away from from home and this Jiffy Lube was on the way. Turns out my coolant was completely out so as I turned into the location my car just stopped running completely. They had to push my car into the bay and its a heavy jeep AND it was 102 degrees out. They filled my coolant and didn't charge me a thing. I've been coming here for years and even though I'm moving I'll keep coming to this location. read more
