The oil change itself was okay BUT today I got my oil changed on Tuesday & today is Friday & I still do not have my RECEIPT! Apparently Jiffy Lube has a new policy of sending it to you electronically! HOWEVER, after several (?) attempts I still have not received it. Now the solution is for ME to be inconvenienced! REALLY?? I took a Groupon here that said $41.99 for an oil change and tire rotation. Well, just like I thought they never did the tire rotation. I have two different tires up front and two different tires in the back. That's how I know they never did the tire rotation cause the two front tires read the same and the two in the back read the same, but since they were shorthanded, and I was already there almost an hour and a half, I said the hell with it, but in the future, I guess I'll be going to another Jiffy Lube for my auto care needs. That was a test for them and they failed the test. At least I got my oil change after an hour and a half on a Sunday morning. Watch that these places perform the services that you pay for because a lot of times they don't. And they wonder why people do their own oil changes and tire rotations. They have a pleasant and efficient staff, the price for wiper blades is high, I won't change them there again, They no longer accept checks, I have been giving them checks since they opened at that location. I only stopped in today for a tire rotation & balance. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The price was a little steep at $25 per tire when it was roughly $10-15 at most other places, but this is the only place in the area that accepts our company fleet card. No issues and quick service (less than 20 minutes). Other than price, I was very happy with the service. read more

The good - the employees are friendly and the oil change was completed quickly. The bad - after checking air filters, did not reassemble the glovebox correctly (left cabin filter door hanging and did not reattach glovebox damping unit so glovebox fell open hard). They adjusted the air pressure in tires and afterwards my TPMS system alerted that there was an issue. Checked pressure in tires and 2 were over 40psi and 2 were 39psi. MFG recommendation is 32, which is why the TPMS alerted. read more

Do not take your car here. Tried to use a Groupon and they said they couldn't work on my car because of the hood. The hood has some minor aesthetic issues, but works fine. I replaced a headlight the weekend before and it opens and shuts no problem. Pretty sure they just realized the Groupon price was too good and found and excuse not to do it. If you don't want to fulfill the deal then don't offer the deal. read more

If I could get this Jiffy Lube zero I would! I got my oil changed today and I went home feeling good about getting my car serviced. I go out to go to work and there's oil all over my driveway of course today is Sunday and tomorrow is memorial day. I checked my oil there's no oil in my car anymore so it obviously leaked out either from the oil pan or the oil filter!I put in a complaint to corporate I am not a happy camper! So since they try to keep me as a customer they offered me a free oil change! Of course I took advantage of it today big mistake! After they did my old change I want to pull out on my car started smoking really heavy from the tailpipe. I turn around take it back and he told me I blew a head gasket really?! My car is only four years old my check engine light has never been on nor has it made any noise. We're really happened is they mixed new Oil with old oil which causes the car to smoke. They had to do a full fuel injection cleaning which was also free! But what they did shouldn't have been done in the first place. This place deserves a big fat zero read more

Jiffy Lube Store #100 213 Eastern Blvd Essex, MD 21221 This is hands down the worst auto repair shop I have been to. Long story short I visited got a diagnostic done due to no air, the assistant store manager she tells me i need a new A/C compressor because mine is out so i scheduled the service to find out that wasn't the issue at all it had to do with electrical an problem. Now I'm out of close to $700 and I still have no A/C. Stay away! read more

Roland was fantastic. From the minute i rolled up i was greeted professionally and friendly. Waiting area was clean and nobody was pushy about buying anything additional which was SO refreshing. I can't stand when all they engage with you about is just buying something. I have a regular maintenance guy I've gone to since the was young but I've moved and i needed an oil change and tire rotation. Horrible service!!! They lied about filling up my transmission fluid after receiving an oil change ....after a few days I noticed my car making noise...losing power...high RPMS I checked my fluid it was dry as can be !!!! I took it back and spoke with store manager who was very rude ....told me I have a major leak and filled it up " again " .....turns out I take it to my mechanic I have no major leak the transmission fluid is still filled with no major leak ....they lied about filling it up in the first place...so now I have a major transmission problem which will cost thousands of dollars in repairs ! This could of all been avoided if they did there job and top off the fluids like they are supposed too! Absolutely horrible! read more

Want to leave no star at all....horrible customer service from all staff, they seem out going,but they are not. They almost made me get coffee, must be a reason for that. After refusing 3 times i said "i want my oil changed" they showed me 2 filters ...said these came out of my car...how do i really know that? I asked...they said its standard...did they really come out of my car?...or are they gross samples that came from another car. After service there my car always make a weird noise. It's been a long time since I decided to give old Jiffy Lube a try. In the past they've been absolutely horrible. However, needing fresh oil in a pinch, I popped by. Was greeted promptly and explained Services. Manager and techs were all friendly. I watched the entire service and they even vacuumed the interior. Was very impressed. Used a coupon that made the oil change very affordable and I left as a satisfied customer. Looking forward to using them again in the future. read more

He never pressures me and as a female that knows only the basics about cars, I feel comfortable coming here because he is friendly and trustworthy. The new staff is also very nice. Just got my oil changed and tires rotated here. a couple miles down the road, my tire light indicator pops on. I pull over and the valve stem core is apparently leaking(These are less than 1 year old tires, and did not have any issues before I brought the car in). I take it back to the shop, they say they will fix it. This tire gets "fixed", but apparently they didn't notice the OTHER TWO tires they did the same thing to. I get home to two almost flat tires because someone who works there must not know how to use an air gun. I understand one is a mistake but three? Received a call the next day because I gave them a 0 review. No offer to fix the problem, so I will have to pay to take it to an actual professional. Never again. read more

Got my oil changed and tire rotated. They try to nickle and dime you for everything. Was told 1 head light was out and 2 whippers were broke. Told them drivers side was changed 2 weeks ago and ill take care of the passanger side myself. Went home removed the bad head light to take a look. Don't go. Don't have your senior citizen parents go. They will up-sell and use scare tactics so that you fear your car will implode if you don't purchase the items they suggest. If you're a senior citizen or don't know better, you'll be tricked into spending way too much. You will not get a regular oil change. You will end up needing the synthetic oil, new tires and other items that they checked. Your oil will be drained before you pay and you will be told that they will not refill it unless you purchase the most expensive synthetic oil. You will drive away and you will find that something is wrong with some other part of your car. You will suspect that you were cheated and that they damaged your car. read more

Today I received the worst vehicle service I've ever received from the Jiffy Lube located 213 Eastern Avenue. As a customer of their service for over 20 years, I am appalled the type of I received today, which came with over $200 cost for supposedly an oil change, tire rotation and halogen headlamps. The workers and Manager lack integrity and honesty, which was evident in their lack of transparency during my visit. I was being charged for work not I believe was not performed and that I did not ask for, or didn't need. I encourage everyone to beware of this location on Eastern Avenue. Also, just make sure you ask questions, like why do I need that service, etc. An oil change cost me $72, even though I had a previous oil change less than 2 months ago and more than likely didn't need another. read more
