I am so so so ANNOYED. Went in for an oil change and to have the rock chip in my windshield replaced. The guy told me after scanning my car that after an upgrade my car could only take FULL SYNTHETIC oil. I have NEVER heard this. So I said no I want the conventional oil change. He said they couldn't do it then. So I said fine I'll just do it. Which is 85 freaking dollars. Finally got a hold of my step dad, it was a lie. So now I'm low on money, but the employee of course acted like my engine will blow up or whatever if I didn't get the full synthetic. The chip looks like they smudged over it with a finger, receipt says they checked everything and cleaned the outer windows/windshield that was CLEARLY NOT done. So thanks to Jiffy Lube for only caring about their money. read more

Absolute garbage service here. They did an oil change. But they used the wrong filter, didn't even remove the plastic barrier to get to it just bent it instead. Lazy work and I'm pretty sure they use recycled oil because that shit was thin as water. And when they gave me a sticker for the next service, it was for well over 20,000 miles. My experience here was like involuntarily being thrown into a bad reality TV show. Waited 30 minutes to get in the bay, then a simple oil change that should have taken 10-15 minutes took 30+ minutes. The employees were more concerned about arguing over their roles, responsibilities, challenging authority, playing the blame game, making up excuses, and talking about personal drama rather than doing their jobs. Followed by apologizing to me for having to listen to shop talk and wait an unnecessarily long time. It appears the company is supposed to have an organized flow of tasks to ensure efficient and thorough service of each vehicle. However, it would seem his group of employees struggled to understand and follow the company's way of doing things which resulted in a pretty bad experience. I was just trying to get a quick oil change for my sister's car before she headed out on a road trip back to her home. I had other errands to run and a limited window of time to take car of them. These guys used up my entire block of time and the rest of my errands couldn't be run as a result. It's disrespectful to waste other people's time. To make matters worse, the guys employed an assortment of blatant up sales techniques and tried to make a simple oil change and fluid check sound like rocket science, which of course required additional product and services. None of which was needed. I bought the premium package oil change and the guys were so consumed with their drama that they failed to vacuum the car or provide the other premium services. I originally gave this Jiffy Lube location 1 star because Yelp wouldn't let me give less, but the employee did apologize again as I was paying and did give me a 17% Off coupon for my sister's next visit. 17% is better than 10% but it's still an insult because of the bizarre number and extra bad service. As a business executive myself, if my employees would have done something like this then I would have either comped the service all together or at least discounted and given a 20-25% off coupon on the next service. read more

I have had Jiffy Lube change the oil on my car dozens of times with no problem. They do it for a good price and do a good job. Why would I change my own oil if they will do it for $20? However, on my last oil change they told me my timing belt was cracking and needed to be replaced soon, so I brought in my car to get the belt replaced. They started working on it about 3pm and by 6:00 they were saying they were waiting on a part, and by 7:00 they said they didn't have the right tool to put the belt back on. Why would you take it off if you didn't have the right tool to put it back on? So they had to have me leave my car and one of the guys drove me home (he was super nice). I had to get a ride the next morning to go get my car and still had to wait two hours for them to finish. And since then, my car makes rattling noises it did not previously make. They were apologetic, but didn't cut their bill at all. I was pretty disappointed. Bottom line- I will take my car there for oil changes, etc., but I will not have them do anything mechanical again. I give them 5 stars on the oil change, and one star on the mechanical, so it averages out to 3 stars. read more

The signature service cost extra, it included vacuumed floors and windows. Also includes typing off of fluids and tires, etc. When I asked then if they added air to the tires they said no...that's strange. Not one tire needed air? And they only vacuumed the front floors. I've used the other Jiffy Lube on Beaverton Hillsdale HWY for several years but found out they don't do the work I needed done and recommended I come to this Jiffy Lube because I needed to get an O2 sensor put in so I could pass DEQ. I came in last Friday and waited well over 11/2 to have them put the sensor in. But it wasn't fixed yet. I've sat waiting for them to figure out what's wrong for 3 hrs! James, the Manager, and the rest of the Team at this location are TOP NOTCH. If you have an older, carbureted vehicle, you can come here and be guaranteed that you'll be in GREAT hands and your issue will be resolved. James is professional, courteous, KNOWLEDGEABLE and nice and he is surrounded by a great staff with the same attributes. My battery is old but made it through the winter fine. Always started. The guy who helped me said they could replace it for $99, and I declined. After the repair, another tech comes up, asks the first one if he told me it was $150; first one mumbles. Then they ask me if I have jumper cables. Turns out my battery was dead. There is about 0% chance of that happening. It was a scam. My battery was weak, they drained it, then they offered me another at a markup, which they would probably pocket. Avoid like the plague. There are tons of places to go for an oil change, and zero reason to go here. read more

I just got my oil changed (with regular maintenance) a week ago. My car just ping'ed at me saying I had low tire pressure (even though it was just serviced). So I called Jiffy Lube, since it's where I had just been serviced, to ask what could have happened. The girl I talked to was INCREDIBLY disrespectful, and HUNG UP on me after telling me it's nothing they could have done. I was not accusing them AT all, just wanted to have them fill my tires again. But I will ABSOLUTELY not be going back, and I hope for the sake of other customers that this disrespectful employee is not there much longer. read more

I don't how one particular Jiffy Lube can stand out so much more over others, but this one has for me time and time again. I have been a regular of "Jiffy Lube" for years. And I have never been overly loyal to one location, just which ever one was close and convenient when I had the time. This particular location happens to be closer to my house, so I do go to this one more often. Whenever I go to other locations, I get the yucky feeling that Jiffy Lube has a reputation for. Like I am being pushed into buying stuff and services that I just don't need. I have never felt that way at this particular one. Well, I had a situation that has put my loyalty to this location above and beyond. They have a loyal friend in me. I am a single mama, and am broke as a joke. I went in the other day with $50 to last me a week. My car had been sputtering and having problems. I really was just praying for it to make it the week, but I thought maybe a way over due oil change would fix the problem. When I pulled in, I told them right off the bat I was there only for the $19 oil change and that was all I had money far. I did tell them about the problem my car was having and that I was already aware, but I just couldn't afford to fix it. After about 20 minutes, one of the guys came back out and told me he found my problem. I had a hose that had multiple cracks in it. I knew without a doubt that if I took it to the dealership it would be at least $300 to fix, and they always charge me $70 just to look at the car. (I know, I need to find a good mechanic) He told me what part to buy and said if I bought it, they would put it in, No Charge! I did, and they did. They went above and beyond the call of duty for me, and I will always be grateful. This is from now on my Jiffy Lube of choice. The Boys at Jiffy Lube (on Bvtn-Hsdl Hwy and 217) are getting a big plate of my famous chocolate chip cookies tomorrow. read more

DEFINITELY DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN!!!! I am a 20 year old female that recently visited this location. I came originally just to get an old change but told them I was going on a road trip so they suggested I get my tires rotated and get my brakes checked. Fine whatever. Then they proceed to tell me my brakes have too much moisture in them and it's gonna cost me $90 to fix it. I said no as I was already paying $120 for all the stuff supposedly wrong with my car. So I am Day 2 of my road trip now and my nana suggests I get my car checked again so I do. This local auto shop proceeds to tell me jiffy lube SHORTED ME A QUART OF OIL and my brakes were completely fine!!! Jiffy lube is A SCAM! I will never be returning except to maybe bitch out the lovely man that knew I needed to save my money for my road trip yet convinced me there was a bunch of stuff wrong with my car that actually wasn't so I would spend all my money. Gear up for this one, because it's a doozy! I left work early on Friday to head to Bend for the weekend, but wanted to get my oil changed before I left town. I got to this Jiffy Lube location around 12:50pm. They up sold me a bit with the more expensive oil change and I bought an air filter, which brought the total to $72.49. I waited in their lobby while they worked on my car and everything seemed to be pretty routine. When my car was done, I got back in it and left ready to get my weekend started. I didn't make it 500 feet before my car started jerking really hard and I couldn't excel over 15 miles an hour. Then I looked out my rear view mirror and saw smoke billowing out my exhausted. Naturally I suspected something was wrong! I turned my car around and went back to Jiffy Lube, with none of these symptoms improving. When I pulled back in, one of the guys came running out and asked me what the problem was. I told him that whatever they just did to my car, they really messed something up. The guy immediately lead me into one of the open bays and pops open my hood. He takes a quick peep and says " looks like we put too much oil in. Do you want to wait inside while we drain a little out?" I declined because I wanted to keep an eye on what is going on. About 10 mins pass and there are a few more people looking around in my car. I know something is up but no one communicates anything to me. So, I ask one of them what is going on. One of the guys crouches down by my window and says that they drained my transmission fluid and topped off my oil, which they overfilled!!! I said to the guy, "so let me get this straight. Someone drained my transmission fluid and then just topped off my oil? Didn't anyone think that It was strange that the amount of "oil" they put back in wasn't nearly as much as they took out? " The guys shrugs and says, "I guess not." He then tells me that they are going to go ahead and do a full oil change and transmission fluid flush. W.T.F! At this point I am pretty hot! Another 10 mins goes by and one of the guys comes over and tells me they need to replace my transmission filter, but they don't have any so they are sending someone out to go buy one. Then they send over a guy who I suspect is their team lead/manger and he says " how about we go ahead and refund your money for having to wait so long" Uuuuuuh, how about refunding my money for everyone's complete incompetence and for potentially causing my car some serious freaking damage?! I say, "sure man, that's a start." We walk over to the register and the guy tries to refund my money, but can't seem to figure out how to do it. So he then tries to void the transaction, which he also can't figure out how to do. I put my card in the credit card machine 6 times while he tries to figure it out before I tell him to forget it. I don't have time for this and you obviously can't figure out the machine. He asked me if I'm sure, and I say "unless someone else here can do it, yes." He then asks me, "well how about we give you a free oil change?" I say sure, but that I still plan on writing to their corporate office. The guy goes to the back office and comes out with a piece of paper from a note pad and kid you not writes on it, "next oil change on us" and his name. Hands it to me and I just start laughing. It even has his oil smudged finger prints on it (photo attached). What killed me was I couldn't be the first person who has ever had to have their money refunded or given a free oil change "coupon". How did no one not know how to do this or how did they not have coupons?! I get back into my car and it takes another 20 mins before someone tells me that they are all done. I asked the guy, are you sure. I tell him that I am planning on driving to Bend and I don't want to have any issues. He says that he had his worked triple checked by other people and that he will put his job on the line that the work was completed correctly. The final kicker was another guy comes over and puts a windshield sticker in my car for when my next oil change is due and says, "oh sorry. We forgot to put this in before you left last time." They close the hood of my car and sent me on my way at 2:35pm. From there, things were fine and I had a great time in Bend visiting friends and family. Moral of the story, not only will I never go to this location to get my oil changed, but I will never go back to another Jiffy Lube. Oh, and did I mention that I PAID for this experience?!? We drove up at this Jiffy Lube Location at 11150 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton, OR 97005, and told a female staff for Oil change with a $15 off coupon. She said the oil change would cost $49.95 and she would apply the coupon. She then said the air filter was not there and she would charge $49.95 for an air filter. We refused and questioned if they took our air filter off and scammed the $$. She called another guy and we requested to have our car back and go to the dealership instead. He refused and insisted to perform the oil change. This is a Trap to scam and we still wonder if they took our air filter and many be other parts and scam customer's money. By far the worst experience I've ever had at an oil change service. This is an Uber inspection facility as well, and those customers take precedence over normal customers. Went here have them check my battery or what else might be going on b/c my car kept dying if it sat for a few days without being driven. Got there and they were super professional and courteous. They checked my car and it turned out that the battery terminal connectors were lose so the car wasn't fully charging. At any rate, they didn't charge me a dime. They also told me to come in to have my alignment checked FOR FREE when I had a couple hours to spare b/c they're usually SUPER busy. I'm DEFINITELY going back to have them check my alignment and adjust it if need be. Also, in the future, I'm gonna be sure that they get my business for any/all car care. THIS Jiffy Lube branch is ABSOLUTELY awesome and they really committ to excellent customer service. They have a new customer for LIFE! read more

I used them once since I had to get my oil change ASAP. These people love to push their services in order to make you pay $40 for a simple oil change. I stood my ground and paid $20. At my follow up oil change (3 months later) I used my regular place (NOT jiffy lube) the mechanic tells me jiffy tightened a bolt on excessively, he had to get another guy to use a machine to unscrew it, and if this issue were to occur with frequency it could cause a metal panel (he gave me a car term but I have since forgotten) to become undone which would be expensive to repair. How is it possible these companies get away with trashing people's vehicles? I for one will NOT be using this company again. Good luck to anyone who does. read more

I went here 2 years ago and was told they were going to do an oil change. 20 mins in a guy came up to me and said a belt needed replacing and the transmission needed to be flushed and refilled. 3 months later I went to my mechanic for a toon up and was told the same belt needed replacing and the transmission needed a flush and to be refilled. Imagine my surprise when I looked under my hood and the same belt was still there. ...i wouldn't trust them. I was very unhappy especially since jiffy lube charged me an arm and a leg for the supposed belt and transmission repair. Never going to and jiffy lube again! read more

Dishonest! Quoted a price for engine filter, but when time to pay, the price tripled. Explained to me, "Yah, it was more than I thought". No kidding. Probably should have told me that before installing and then holding me ransom. I refused to pay a higher price than the one we agreed. Marked it down to what we originally agreed to and tried to make me feel guilty because "I could lose my job for this". You SHOULD lose your job when you're dishonest and try to put it on the customer. Left there feeling very yucky. AND watch out for the guy holding the sign for a $21.99 oil change.
