Warning!!!!Don't go to Burbank Jiffy Lube.....this people are cons. I brought my car in for an oil change. Payed $65.00 or so for synthetic oil. 3 months later my car engine starts making a knocking noise. I took in my car to a local mechanic and the mechanic says that there was only 2 quarts of oil in the engine. The mechanic says that there's no way a newer or older model vehicle for that matter should burn through 3 quarts of oil that quick. My car takes 5 quarts. And that this fakechanics didn't bother to put enough oil in the car. Needles to say Im fortunate that my engine didn't burn out. This place could care less about your vehicle. If I could give them zero stars I would!! NEVER GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE. They will f up your car and let you drive off thinking everything's okay. Incompetence and negligence at all levels! I got a brand new car about 3 weeks ago and stopped by to get my oil changed. Nbd. First of all, not only was it the priciest oil change I've ever had but the person that drove my car left grease marks all over the floor and inside the door handle. But as if that wasn't bad enough, the topping on the cake was the scratch this person left on my inside door handle. Now I have a brand new car that somebody else f'd up because of their negligence! Really annoyed and will contact BBB about this if I don't get this resolved. Oh and spam their fb and twitter page letting everybody know what a shitty establishment this is. Rolled into the Burbank jiffy lube during a hot Monday afternoon,professionally greated by Assistant manager Erik,within 30 seconds he had all of my info ready to go,then directed me to the nice and cool waiting lounge,Then he and the crew-(,Manager Sherwin,Assistant Erik & Bobby began to surgically work away happily regardless of the heat on all of the cars in the bay. They all had a great attitude and winning personality kept their heads down and grinded away helping all of the customers,every question asked was answered truthfully, every customer that I observed left happy and satisfied,these guys know what they are doing,I saw many different makes of cars from English Mini's to Toyotas Prius's to Chevy trucks,they have the know how! This is the most shady business I have ever encountered. They send out coupons and advertize discounts then when you take your car in for a simple oil change they use scare tactics that your vehical is lucky to still be working without the array of additional services it needs. A $29 oil change becomes a $300 squeeze job. It really is a pitty as they are in a convienient location. If you go there be sure to say NO they are quite convincing. read more

The first time I went to a Jiffy Lube was in 2008 when I first got my car. My boyfriend recommended that I go to the Jiffy Lube on Victory and Saticoy in Van Nuys. There I meet Ruben the manager at the time. He was super friendly and helpful. I was in and out in 30 min for an oil change and that's that I had a few cars ahead of me. I started to tell my sisters to take their car there. One of my sisters had a bad battery and apparently had LOTS of corrosion. Ruben explained to her that she needed to change her car battery before she was left stranded and that she could purchase the car battery there. Long story short we have been following him ever since. Once he moved all the way in Canoga we went with him, long drive but worth it when you know they are going to do the job well done. Went to Jiffy Lube this morning, their service is really good. As soon as I arrived, this lady approached me and welcomed me. The guy in the front desk (Edgar) was very nice also. Very helpful. I went to Jiffy Lube on Victory Boulevard to get an oil change. Abraham was prompt and extremely friendly. I got in and out very quickly which was awesome! It was also refreshing that he did not try to sell me any additional, unnecessary upgrades, which sometimes is the case. I have always gone to the dealership for all my service needs. My girlfriend on the other hand goes to Jiffy lube and never knew y after all the negative media attention through the last couple years yesterday I decided to go with her for her oil change at their Burbank location and right as soon as we pulled up I was inpressed we were greeted by chris a young man very friendly Nd professional. All the staff worked very effectively on our car it was done fairly quickly the man that rang us up, he was the manager fernando reminded us of our next service and their FREE top off policy . I'm will not going here anymore. I'm done. More than once the mechanics have gotten grease on the inside of my car door, on the steering wheel, emergency break, they are just sloppy. They claim to clean the windows (which I don't expect them to do) and they clean only the windshield. They do try and upsell you on air filters and other services your car doesn't need. I only go here because it's near my home and open early but forget it. Last time I went, about a week ago, they did they same routine showing me dirty air filters that they put on top of the engine which had leaves and hair in them. I refused new ones. After that I carefully/sneakily watched them take the filters and throw them in some back cabinet. Those weren't my Air Filters, most likely Props to scare you into buying new ones. My husband and I had stopped coming to this location about a year ago, but I was recently told by one of my friends that she had just got her maintenance done on her SUV and that the staff and the service was great. She mentioned that it was a new staff starting with the new manager named Edgar. My husband and I decided to take her word, so I decided to take my car in for an oil change and my friend was right they provided me with great customer service they did take a little longer than I thought it would take but what can you expect when there's 6 to 7 cars before my carand you can tell that they are doing their best to service cars as quick as possible and most importantly my husband was very satisfied with the service that Edgar provided for me so thank you Edgar and I believe it's John, Diana and the rest of the staff. sorry if I got the names mixed up read more

So, i am a loyal jiffy lube user from way back. i am from the east coast and have never been let down. my advice? ONLY USE THEM FOR OIL CHANGES. anything else is a TOTAL ripoff. anywho, i brought my car there for an oil change... it leaked heavily. brought it back the next day and they fixed it, citing the drain plug washer as the problem... i have changed oil before... i ALWAYS replace the washer.... its 30 cents. I was irritated that they didnt do this the first time so i demanded a refund because i had to come back there. the manager Fernando refused initially but could see i was pissed. He says to me "i can see u are just trying to get something for free" i exploded saying "if i wanted something for free, why would i have paid full price yesterday" this guy would not concede that he was wrong but could see that my profanity laced venom was going to continue until he did something. he finnaly submitted and agreed to the refund. he filled out some paper work and told me id get a check in the mail 9-14 weeks later. Pfft. yeah right. i could see that my issue had eclipsed fernando's paygrade so i damanded to talk to his supervisor ofr franchisee/owner. he put me in touch with some regional manager and i told him that now this was a principle deal. I wanted my cash back, since i paid in cash the day before and i threatened to contact the bbb and yelp him to pieces. he relinquished and told me to go back to the store to pick up my cash. i was met by an extremely pissed fernando who all but threw the cash at me. careful of this place. they dont give a f*&k if your car leaks. read more

The absolute worst experience! And the thing that bugs me is I always have gone here, so I don't know what is going on with this place. I was told when I pulled up that it would be 45 mins. I've never had to wait that long and the irony is their name is JIFFY Lube. But I needed an oil change so I agreed to wait. I waited for almost 2 hours...no joke. I rolled in at 11:30 and didn't leave until 1:15. Completely unacceptable. Half the time my car was just sitting there with the hood up and no one doing anything. At one point, they moved my car to another stall and then I saw my inside cabin air filter sitting on my DIRTY car engine. I just changed that and asked specifically to NOT take it out. Most of the staff, except the girl who was at the cashier, were just goofing off or playing around and moving at a snail's pace. In fact, she was the only one I thought was hustling (vacuuming floors, washing windows, etc). She was very apologetic and had a nice demeanor, which is the one saving grace for this place. One worker in particular had a permanent scowl on his face as if he didn't even want to be there, same guy who told me 45 mins. Edgar, I understand is the general manager...well Edgar, if you read this, you should learn to train your employees on how to accurately estimate waiting times and maybe have the rest of your labor staff pick up the pace a bit. Sorry to say, I will not return to this Jiffy Lube ever again. read more

If I could give them no stars I would! I went to this location before I headed into work on a Sunday and I was the only customer. I needed an oil change, my tire pressure light was on and I had no windshield wiper fluid. My visit was very short and luckily I was on my way. Though as soon as I turned my car on my tire pressure light was still on. I went in to verify that my tires were filled and one employee stated that one was low and it was filled and that it would go off after driving a few miles. Well after driving over 60 miles the light was still on. I went to check it myself, and they were correct one tire was at 30 and the rest were at 40 so I ended up filling it myself. It's hard to believe that this tire was filled and leaked within 5 minutes, though when I filled it, it's been fine for 2 weeks! On top of that my windshield fluid which I just tried using last week for the first time since my visit still is not filled as stated on my receipt. I'm skeptical about my oil even being changed at this point. What am I paying you guys for? And now I'm instructed to go to the same location for them to fix the issues, like I have time to drive back to the same location. Horrible service! read more
