I vowed to never go back to this place but got desperate for time, so I went. Bad choice. Didn't get my oil changed in a "Jiffy". They said 20 minutes, it turned into an hour. No big deal, I waited, didn't complain. But the place isn't efficient, at all. They always try and upsell you on expensive stuff you can do yourself. I also asked for 'regular blend oil', in a nice, clear voice.. and the gal at the register clicked synthetic and said "Synthetic? Ok, Great." No, I said Regular. I made her change it and she seems puzzled. The guys running the shop are so disorganized and joking around most of the time. One time, years ago, they brought out a leaf-laden, dirty air filter and said it was mine and that I should think about changing it. I knew it was BS because I had just changed it myself the day before via a trip to Pep Boys. It couldn't have gotten that leafy and dirty in 24 hours. No wind storms. That's the main reason I never went back to this place, until now.. and again, only because I was desperate. There is a wayyyy better oil change on Magnolia Blvd where they actually change your oil ANNNND wash your car, inside and out... for less money than what this Jiffy Lube charges. I hate tearing down a business and critiquing it to pieces but come on, this place could do so much better. read more

Took in my Audi Q5 for an oil change today. The gentleman at the shop with nice enough to squeeze me in last minute. I received a call 20 mins later that my car was ready and that they could not do the oil change due to a bolt being too tight and possibly being stripped. The employee said they didn't want to be liable. Instead they told me they topped off the oil and changed the filter without charge. Upon leaving, three miles down the road, a warning light came on saying the oil pressure was low to turn off the car immediately. At this point I started to freak out. I made it back home, but on the way home three more sensors came on including one that said the oil level was below minimum. NONE of these warning were there before I entered Jiffy Lube. Obviously the oil was not topped off or someone that was working did not know what they were doing. I rushed to the store and bought two quarts of oil. I am livid and irritated that I spent the rest of my evening trying to fix a mistake the employees here made because they either were in a rush to leave or didn't know what they were doing. The employees should not touch a car if they do not know what they are doing or cannot complete a job and they should have consulted with me before removing the oil filter. read more

Oil service was fine. What the problem was the cashier Raymel. Clearly needs training period. He gave me a receipt with someone else name address, number and different car description. He handed me the estimate with this information on it and I told him that was not me. So he said he would change it when I payed. The time came to pay, and he printed the receipt with the wrong name address and car info on it. So i told him, the info is still wrong. Mind you it said Lexus car, and I had 2 Ford Trucks - Trasit 150 getting serviced. So I told him again, I cant take that receipt with the wrong info on it as the vans being service are company vans and I need accurate info on them. So he starts breathing all hard and look so annoyed and puzzled. So he asked another staff member for assistance, and she tells him what to do on the computer and he still couldn't do it. Then he prints me a receipt with my info on it, and the correct car info, but with $0 amount owed and paid. So i said, I cant have a receipt with zero paid when my company card got charged. I need it to show what you charged on it. That made him even more mad, gave me attitude and walked out to get someone else. This other guy comes in already with attitude like I am in the wrong for asking for a simple receipt with the amount I payed and with my name on it and the car details. I mean is that not a thing anymore? to get a proper receipt. So he ( Richard B) comes and says all confrontational, whats the problem! So I smiled and said I need a receipt with my info, the car info and the amount I paid on it. Thats all. He starts getting all the incorrect papers Ive been handed and starts going on the computer typing all hard and angry. He said I have to do a refund, im like sure, as long as i get a receipt for that too. So he prints the refund and has the incorrect name and address on it still. So I said, this is still not me. I need paper work with my name on it. So he gets all mad and starts doing it again, and cant seem to do it. So I just took the receipt with the refund amount and was like, I hope my company takes it like this or Ill be back. Now he works on the regular receipt that was messed up, finally puts the right info and amount paid on it and goes is this what you want? Im like of course, simple receipt is all I wanted. Thanks. He looks away super mad, and says your vans are out back, im like can I get the keys? Hes like their in the vans, im like ok. Bye. I got to the vans, no keys. Then he comes out yelling here are your keys so i have to walk back and get them. WHAT an awful experience with the cashiers and whoever he was, manager? who know. Hopefully not. No one really knew how to use the computer system. To bad because this was close to our company site, and we where looking forward to service our vehicles here. But not any more. Not coming back to this location ever. Zero starts if I could for customer service ppl in the office. Oil change crew was good. read more

They broke the screen for my cabin air filter. By chance, I opened my glove compartment right after I left the Burbank Jiffy Lube and discovered it had fallen off. (And yes, they had offered to replace the air filter on that visit) I took the car back-they "fixed" it, but when I opened my glove compartment a little later it was still broken. It's not so much that it broke (things happen), but that they didn't bother to let me know is a big deal. They should have said something to me when they checked the cabin filter status. If they had told me I'd still trust them, but hiding things leads to mistrust and once trust is broken it's hard to regain. read more

I went here once. I bought a used car with literally 5800 miles on it. They tried to convince me that I had metal shavings in my motor and that the whole thing needed to be back flushed. I had to grit my teeth and tell them to just change the oil. They persisted with the fear tactic that my engine could be damaged if I didn't do it. Gritting my teeth even harder I told them to just change the oil. I didn't want to go off on them while my car was still in their garage. This is a shop full of shysters. DON'T GO HERE!! read more

I just had the signature service done at this Jiffy Lube and I found nothing but complete professionalism. No upselling, just good service. And the counter person, Neidy, was very nice and answered every question. It was quick, convenient and as-advertised...and I got 15.00 off! The lounge area was clean and neat, free hot coffee offered, the grounds were well maintained and the shop are was immaculate, even though this is a busy facility! Although the front desk guy was super friendly, he tried to up-sell me and every single person there. People obviously don't understand much about their cars and so when he recommended anything, people would say "Um, okay". Each thing he suggested was about $100 extra. Does he get a commission every time he up-sells? I expected to pay about $30 for an oil change not $60. I even had a coupon. It would have been more than $60?! I don't trust Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube was the only place I could find that was open on Sundays. Otherwise I would never have paid $60 for a oil change. Also, he said they refilled my windshield wiper fluid. I don't think that's true. I JUST filled it the day before with regular water. I doubt that they emptied the water and refilled it with special wiper fluid like they said. Jiffy Lube Burbank is awesome! I've been there many times, and my service has always been exceptional. I went on Saturday to have my oil changed, and a new rear wiper blade replaced. Yes, they try to up sell, but that's what a salesman does. I said no to a few things, but my air filter was found to be really dirty (they showed it to me) so I had it replaced. Signature service, new wiper blade, new air filter, windows washed, floors vacuumed, and I was on my way. The only complaint I have is that the tech talked WAY too fast, and I had to ask him to slow down so I could understand him. A personal problem, and not a reflection of the service JiffyLube gave me. The air conditioned waiting room is nice, and I used my coupon for a discount. I was out the door in under 30 minutes. Thank you again, JiffyLube! read more

I drove in the lot with the intention of having a routine check before my oil had to be changed,( which was very soon!). My car wasn't even in park yet when Ruben greeted me, asked a couple questions, and was able to efficiently tell me exactly what I needed to know,.which resulted in getting my oil changed after all! He filled me in on some very important information about my vehicle, and some great advice on how to keep it running smooth for a longer time, due to the numerous miles I drive . After my oil change today, I got into my car and at least 5 warning lights were flashing or turned on on my dashboard. I asked them about this and the mechanic said, the check engine light was on when I worked on it. I said, you guys must have tripped a switch or something as these lights were not on when I brought it in. The only lights on we're the "need oil" lights. Edgar, the manager, came out and said, I don't know what to do about this. Take it to your dealer to have it looked at. Really?! Now I have to take the time to have it checked out by the dealer?! I asked why no one said anything to me about the lights if they were already on. Edgar tried to tell me that they only address the items they can work on. No, someone would have brought it to my attention if they saw all those lights on. Looks as tho the car is about to explode. Now I have to make a trip to the dealer to have this checked just because I decided to go to Jiffy instead of Valvoline and get an oil change that took 3xs as long. As some other reviews have stated, no answers the store office phone number and no answer on the number of the GM on the card that was given to me. Left a message but so far no response. I got my AC recharged about a month ago and they said that I would have a 6-month warranty. A month later, my AC didn't work again so I called in and they said over the phone that if it didn't work a month later, it's probably because of a leak and that I needed to get it fixed. I said that I would get it fixed probably in a day or two but asked in the meantime if I could come by and get it recharge again so I could stay cool for the next day, they said fine. When I got there, they first said that the leak was so bad that they couldn't charge it. Then he checked the AC and said it was perfectly fine, which it wasn't, that's why I was sweating in my car! I left the place wondering how come I was told that my AC was working perfectly fine after I was told there was a leak. I feel like their 6-month warranty as they call it is total nonsense. Would not recommend this place to have them check your AC! read more

Wiper blades damaged. I park my car outside and have to use the wipers to clean the windshields daily. Wiper blades on my car had never been changed but they were not damaged at all. My wife took the car to Jiffy Lube in Burbank this week to have the oil changed and they tried to sell her on new wiper blades. Next day I get in the car and I try to clean the windshield, both wiper blades have a 4 inch tear at the top of the blade and are completely useless. I can't prove that the technician damaged the wiper blades but had both blades had a large tear in them I would have noticed. I called and spoke with the manager. He said he would check the video surviellance system and see if someone touched the wiper blades and he would call me back. After a wait of several hours I had to call back and the manager told me nobody touched the windshield wipers the entire time the car was in the shop. I have sent a complaint to Jiffy Lube HQ, can't wait to see what they have to say. Bottom line, if you take your car to a place like this stand at the window or by your car and watch them like hawks. read more

Went in because they had an oil change sale/special. They tried to tell me I needed some special oil (which was about an additional $20) for my Chevy Cobalt. I told them it does not require that type of oil (I've read my manual), but they were not convinced. I told the guy prepping the car to get out, that I was taking it somewhere else. I drove off, did a quick research for mechanics in the area on mobile Yelp app, and went to Gary's Auto in Glendale for $19.99.. where I was welcomed to sit in the garage and watch him change my oil and inspect my car. read more
