The place looked clean and the service was... as promised... about 15 minutes. I had to wait, but still the service part was on point. $75 for a basic oil change is high to me, but I normally get free service. They did do a top off of all fluids and checked tires. My family and I have been a long time customers at this location but after the way that I was treated by the new manager I will make sure that any of my family and friends never return. I had a problem during a previous visit when they send me away with a loose oil filter! The manager at that time offered me a complimentary oil change on my next visit. The new manager was very rude in telling me that she would not honor what the previous manager said. I told her that I would take my business elsewhere and she said "good! During my oil change, they never bothered to check the windshield wiper fluid level, because a month after the oil change, I got a warning that it was low. This tells me they are not performing the standard vehicle inspection checklist on all fluids. After the oil change, I presented a $20 off coupon on my phone. The guy says they can't honor it, but will take $15 off instead. Coupon was not expired so not sure what that was all about. The transaction seemed a bit shady to me. Do yourself a favor and go with a mom and pop shop for oil changes. No more of these corporate oil change shops! read more

I've been going to Jiffy Lube for service for over 20 years. 12 years in WA state and 8 years here. I decided to give this location - 6021 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad a try since it is close to my home. Very disappointed! I realized after I paid my $100 bill and was driving away - they did not vacuum inside my car and did not wash my windows. I turned around, but by then there was a line of other cars. I did go back the next day (after I took my car to the car wash) to get a printed version of my bill - they told me it would be emailed to me ... still waiting! Thought it best to get a printed version. And yesterday my car told me my washer fluid was low! I filled with 1 gallon of washer fluid. Isn't that one of their services? Took my car in for a simple oil change. I was charged $95. In the following days/week I started to notice an oil stain on my driveway that followed me whenever I parked somewhere new. Popped the hood open to find that the lid had not been properly screwed back on- at all. I tightened it myself. Took the car into the dealership I purchased it from and now I will pay $155 to correct all the mistakes caused by this jiffy lube. My dealer has to drain oil, replace washer, crushed gasket that was not replaced AND install new washer. He advised to write this review and warn other people from visiting this location. The service is simply not worth the price (especially considering this is supposed to be their specialty). 1 100% do not recommend and regret taking my vehicle here. Mind boggling. Visited Jiffy Lube today the lady in the red shirt that was under the car was very nice and the only worker who had friendly customer service. I came to Jiffy Lube for a regular oil change because my car put a warning up of low tire pressure so I figured get it all done today. I pulled in and this wasn't the typical experience where they go over everything and than upsell you. Nope they did the oil change and the blonde lady went straight to upselling me on two big ticket things. I told her I couldn't afford this right now I'll come back at the end of the week but she wouldn't break the deathly eye contact even after I told her no, it was a very awkward 20 seconds stare down for me. Is this a new Jiffy Lube tactic? Intimidate the customer into buying extra services? I wasn't even provided any of the services that are supposed to come with an oil change, how am I to trust they even out enough oil in my car? I normally like Jiffy Lube for their customer service and prices, but when we took both of our cars to get our oil changed and air filter changed, they didn't have the air filters on hand and said it would be a half hour to get them in. We decided to go next door to get our cars washed while waiting. Our cars were washed and cleaned and we went back, still no air filter, so we ended up just leaving without it. As my husband was about to leave, his battery died right there and they told him it would be $110 for a new battery. My husband just got a jump instead and went to Pep Boys to buy his own new battery. The sad part is, they checked his battery before they did an oil change and told us that the battery level was "perfect". People were nice here but clearly they don't know what they're doing here. read more

My husband just got his oil changed at Jiffy Lube, Carlsbad. Very disappointing job!!! Did not check any of the filters, tires, etc. What happened to the Full service oil change and the 10 point check service? Paid $100 ... and no check service. I called back the manager who apologized and explained all of the things that should have been checked... said they would refund the service is full. Very honorable. Also said they appreciated the call and would let the service person know better. They took the feedback and would make it better. read more

Drove in to LegoLand with my kids from Vegas last Friday and spent the day on Saturday. Realized I'd forgotten to get an oil change I was way past due for! I use Jiffy Lube here in Nevada, and so I knew they'd have my car's information on file. Found the nearest one and went rushing in, 25 minutes before official closing. The two men working there were super polite and said it was "no problem" and "of course" they could still squeeze my oil change in. Jacob (I think that was his name, my apologies) was incredibly patient and took care of the service quickly. He even helped find me a local coupon so I could save a little money. Great service! Friendly and did an excellent job! Went for an oil change and they did a full inspection on my vehicle and showed me my dirty air filters, which needed to be replaced. They also tested my brake fluid to see if I needed a brake flush. I didn't know they did that. (I didn't do it this time but I'll definitely be back for it)! read more

Have been to this location before with no issues, but last time I got my car back with a considerable scratch on the door. I didn't mind that service was slower than usual but I did mind the scratch. I asked for follow up, they said that they will report it to HR (?) and someone probably will get back to me.. they said they don't have paperwork to fill out for my complaint and gave me an attitude,claiming the scratch could have been there before. So not only they scratched my car, they basically say I lied.I did ask for contact info so i can follow up, was told there is none, they will follow up with me, if they deem necessary.. I came here about 2 weeks ago and while waiting in line for 20 min received no acknowledgement at all so I backed up and left. Needing an oil change though, I came back today and watched the salesperson talk to the car ahead of me on deck for a full 15 minutes without looking up or anything like she was talking to a long lost relative or friend. I thought we'll okay, whatever and with my experience from the first visit I thought "well at least I SEE an employee!" How long does the oil change take? Answer: 15 minutes 2. How much does it costs? Answer: $37.00 3. When is it a good time to get the oil change? Answer: One person now; no line Piece of cake! Be forewarned. There is this deep hole in the cement but someone is there to assist you to align your car so you don't fall into the pit. I had no issues whatsoever. They got your back. They ran some tests as they were doing the oil change and found out I needed a new engine filter. They gave me a few places I could purchase the item and went to one they recommended! I asked if the place could install the filter for me and the man said "You can come back and they could install with no charge." Got it done ASAP!!! Professional, efficient and thorough with their work. I would highly recommend them. read more
