I have 5 vehicles that need regular oil changes. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for 4 years. They're always more expensive than the surrounding shops, but it is conveniently located and it has just become a habit to get my vehicles serviced there. Today they lost my business as the charged me nearly $100 for an oil change. SInce my employee went there instead of me, they felt it ok to not offer any "discounts" that make their already highly inflated prices a smidgeon tolerable. Instead - they give my employee an H2O "free" car wash voucher. It is plain to see that their main focus is not on customer satisfaction, but extracting as much money as possible. read more

I came to this location to get an oil change and inspection. When I first pulled up, the gentleman told me it was a long wait, so I ran an errand and came back. When I pulled in the second time, they told me the inspector was at lunch, and it would be about an hour. I decided to wait since my inspection was due. No problem. After waiting 40 minutes, a technician came into the lobby and told me the inspector decided not to do any more inspections that day, even though I was already there and waiting. I went against my judgement to try Jiffy Lube again, after having past issues. I won't return. read more

Service here was pretty good, and all the guys were really friendly. John was the manager & I really appreciated that he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need as so many other places do! Because let's face it, I am a girl & have no clue what goes on under the hood of my car half the time! The only problem we had was that when leaving my car blew white smoke, but John told me to come back & they rechecked everything & fixed the problem for me! Turned out that the last place that changed my oil more than likely didn't change the filter, and also just a little to much oil had been added! I will be back for the guys to change my oil again next time! read more

Jipped off by Jiffy.... I recently bought a car (less than a month ago) and my engine light came on about a week ago. I've always gone to Jiffy so I went on over there this morning to get it checked out and hopefully fixed. As I pull into the lot I tell the guy that my engine light is on and he immediately says "Oh, it must be your oil". Now, I'm thinking that's weird because I would think the dealership did that before I drove off the lot but I trust Jiffy and say go ahead. $108 later I'm driving off the lot and as I get down the street I realize that my engine light is on. At this point I've talked to my stepdad and he tells me he has a diagnostics scanner so I head over. As he scans the car, which took less than a minute, we look up at the reminder sticker from Jiffy and I notice that there is in fact another reminder sticker from the dealership. Now I feel stupid that I didn't notice before then but the fact that Jiffy changed my oil almost 4000 miles early really pisses me off, especially now that I'm $108 dollars lighter in the wallet and STILL have to go find another shop that can fix the "small leak in my emissions system". If you want half a**ed work where they don't help find the problem and jump straight to the easiest route, this is the place to go. read more

Thankfully, these guys weren't as pushy on the upselling as most places are. However, they did really want me to go with an "oil upgrade" rather than just an "oil change" which I made pretty clear that I would decline. So what happened? They gave me the oil upgrade anyway which cost me extra money for something I had just told them I didn't want done. Not going back. read more

They advertise a $24.99 oil change, but when I went to give my information the person helping me said it would be $37.00. I asked what happened to the $24.99 price and he said, "Well that is just for the oil change. The $37.00 tops off all your fluids, cleans the windshield and vacuums the car," etc. etc. I felt like they weren't honest and forthcoming about their prices which scared me. I went in to get an oil change and an inspection. They had great customer service. They even made me coffee, but what impressed me the most was the fact that they caught my mistake of taking the car in too early. I went there for an oil change and to get my inspection and he told me a price for the inspection was going to be 28 dollars and I needed filter changed in my car. Shane gave me the filter half off and since my car is a 2013 he said the inspection was cheaper then 28 dollars. When I drove up, they were busy, but I did not have to wait at all for Wes to ask me what they could help me with. They were very approachable and explained every step of the process to me prior to starting any work. I really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and never felt any pressure to purchase additional services. Wes did advise me of the manufacturer's recommendations, then volunteered to check the transmission fluid when I wasn't sure if it had already been done at the dealership. He showed me a sample of the fluid and stated it looked good, which I could verify for myself. He could have easily shown me ANY vehicle's dirty fluid, but did not. While this was going on, the rest of the team was working, but also interacting and making me feel very welcome. They vacuumed my vehicle, wiped down the windows and refilled/checked all the fluids, wipers, tire pressure etc. While checking out, Wes again reviewed what I was paying for and asked me if I had any questions. After I left, I ran through the computers diagnostics and noticed that one of my tires showed to be low, so I called Wes and he suggested I bring it back at my convenience so they could see what was going on. When I drove up, several of the guys, including Wes, came out to see what was wrong. They checked the tire, which showed the proper pressure. I showed them my vehicle's diagnostics and they advised that the sensor might be going bad. Shortly after I left, I re-checked the diagnostics and the pressure, which was 27 when I drove out, had jumped up to the proper pressure. I know it seems silly to add the info regarding the tire pressure, but the way Wes and his team responded, truly made me feel like I was part of the family and in good hands. $100 oil change my wife was provided, trusting this group while she ran another errand. Engine light cam on couple of days later. I pulled the air filter and it clearly had not been checked, much less changed. Receipt had the big check mark and OK. What else did they blow off? The Customer service line proudly displayed for comments is non existent and their parent , Heartland, in Irving is non responsive. Be careful before they really mess your car up. I am having my car rechecked to see if they actuallyl changed the oil. Its awfully dirty for a few hundred miles. Spoke with the manager and pretty much told me to take a hike. BEWARE. read more

I used to get great service at this Jiffy Lube, but they aren't so "JIFFY" anymore! The last time I went it took almost an hour for a simple oil change, even though there were only two other people there. I wrote a nice little email to Jiffy Lube and the manager emailed me and offered $20 off my next oil change so I did give it another try...mistake! When they pulled up the account under my license plate they asked what the $20 credit was for, told them I'd had extremely slow service on my last vist. I'll be darned if it didn't take 50 minutes this time too! Learned my lesson, I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. read more

I really like coming to this location even though it is a little further out for me. Ricky and Chris are very friendly and professional. They are "five star" in customer interaction! However, through no fault of theirs, it took too long to change a cabin filter because they lacked the tools to do it. I have to admire the fact that a personal multi tool was used to turn the screws to change a filter without stripping the screw! That is creative but ridiculous! How can an oil lube place function without proper tools? Why do customers have to wait so long at a place advertising speed? I was waiting for over an hour and a half! Can someone at corporate get these folks proper tools?????Hey!!!corporate folks run over to Home Depot or Lowe's and get it there!! It is disappointing to see really great folks at this place lose business because they don't have what they need to get people in and out as they advertise. First off, I just want to say I'm not one to complain or waste my time posting reviews. This might be the second one in my life. But this place is horrible and anyone considering doing business needs to know that. They have 0 knowledge of the 1 thing they do, oil. Started when we got there and before waiting asked if they had synthetic blend. Which they told us they did. After waiting for almost 45 min (understandable time) I informed them that while the cap might say 5w-30 I wanted 10w-30 because this is Texas. And 5w is for colder weather where it freezes alot. Just less viscosity. Then had to have a 10 min argument because they thought 5w was thicker. Can't even explain the logic they were using. And anyone that knows just a little about cars knows this is false, and you want a thicker weight (viscosity) for hot weather. Once I finally told them I didn't care what they thought and to put what I wanted in it. They said they didn't have it. Again, why they wouldn't have 10w30 just blows my mind. Maybe it's so you have to come back sooner to get your oil changed again since IT WILL BURN OFF FASTER! So do your self a favor and when you need to get your oil changed, take it to a place that atleast knows the VERY big difference between the 2. It will save you money in the end. Will never come back here again, and will tell everyone the same. Your car is part of your life. It deserves to be worked on by people that care and are knowledgeable. Just do some research, because I don't want to promote one place over another when there are so many that do know and care. read more

This is my first Yelp review ever. Just left this Jiffy Lube. Got an oil change, tires rotated and my inspection. I was service by a guy named Alec...or Alex. This guy had one of the best combinations of friendliness, professionalism and competency that I've ever come across. I will be returning to this location for my vehicle service work. THAT is customer service! I hope that guy is getting paid well.....or some customer is going to hire him at their company. read more

This place is disgusting! I could barely stand to wait in their filthy "waiting area" which was filled with grime, bugs and a tv broadcasting some static ridden show. It took forever and I was the only one there. Don't go here unless they literally clean up their act. read more

Stripped out the bolt to the oil pan when doing my oil change, oil leaked all over my driveway overnight. Took it back to them to fix it, they ordered the wrong size bolt, still tried to force it in the oil pan, CRACKING my oil pan. Car had to be towed to a repair shop, who told me that this was the fourth car in a week from a Jiffy Lube that had to be repaired because of incompetence or negligence. Took over a week to get my car back, always had to call them, car sat in the bay for two days before they even sent it to a shop, and they refuse to honor the claim for the rental car I had to have. NEVER AGAIN! After having my oil changed here for years: I was informed the "Value Service" was no longer available. For the sake of time I agreed to the $63.00 "Signature" oil change. What a joke. My tires were over inflated. Windows still had bird ?":$ all over them: and my carpet looked like it was vacuumed with a straw. My experience was made even more annoying when I asked if they could dispose of a few quarts of used motorcycle oil. I was told to go down the street to Goodyear or Firestone. Went to get two oil changes and an inspection sticker at the same time. I was new to the area and did not know about the emissions restrictions on inspections. My" Service Engine Soon" light was on. They hustled me into new windshield wipers (it wont pass with these wipers, sir) before coming back and saying I failed because the light was on. (possible emissions problem) Did they not notice the light and fail to advise me that it would not pass either way? I doubt it. Both oil changes were ridiculously high and much more than I should have paid. Went to Kwik Kar on Lakeline Blvd and I heard their technicians ask straight out to their customers if their "Service Engine Soon" light was on. If it was they said not to bother with the inspection because it wouldn't pass. First time and last time going there. read more

Nice staff and quick service BUT my car mat covered in greasy boot prints. Dirty finger prints on hood, door, inside door, steering wheel. Basically everywhere he touches had black hand and boot prints. Felt like they should have paid me the $10 extra for my time to clean up the grease mess, instead they wanted me to pay an extra $10 to vacuum and clean outside windows. If you have a new auto under warranty don't use Jiffy or any other oil quick service. Jiffy replaced the oil with too many quarts. That oil now has to go somewhere and it will cause your auto to smoke and stall. This was my daughters auto and it was towed into the dealership and the warranty wouldn't cover it and cost several hundred dollars. You have one $9 an hour guy below telling another above how much to add where both have been on the job probably weeks. Go to a dealership they have a nice waiting room and quick service lanes and it will be done correctly. If not they will take responsibility unlike Jiffy who denied any responsibility of course. read more

When I drove up the manager was smoking a cigerate and talking on her cell phone for a personal call while she greeted me. It was obvious that she was only there for a paycheck, and only wanted to do the bare minimum. The other gentleman working there was very friendly and professional. However she was not. When I got into thre lobby it smelled like cigerates. Like someone had smoked inside the building. My entire purpose in coming was to get an inspection for my employer. Not to meet the state requirement. I needed a paper filled out. I presented it to the gentleman and he gave it to the manager. I was told I needed a light and I gave them the okay to install it. Once again my main goal was to have the form filled out for my employer. After the inspection was over I was told that the brakes could not be checked or tires so that portion of the form could not be filled out. She also did not know her state certification number which was required on the paper. I was much dismayed that this was not told to me from the beginning. I had to take it to another company and get re-inspected to complete the form. I feel like I wasted 20 dollars on the inspection because I had to re-pay for an inspection at another company. I have been a strong Jiffy lube customer since I started driving ten years ago. This was my first experience at this location. 400 N. Bell Blvd cedar park, Tx 78613. I will never return. I have been going to the Cedar Park Jiffy Lube for years. Not any more. Went in for a State inspection and was failed. Wiper blades, (they wanted $35 to replace) and they said the window tint was too dark. Even though it has been the same since 1998. So I bought wipers at Auto Zone, ($9 installed). Did not want to take the tint off, so decided to remove the window, get reinspected, then re-install the window. Was cheaper and easier, and most important, NOT AGAINST ANY TEXAS LAW. I brought the car back, and the Manager, Robert I think, refused to pass it without the window. So he ended up stealing the inspection fee of $29 and change. I suppose loyalty and dependability is no where to be found at the Cedar Park Jiffy Lube. read more

I'm rating it a 2 stars because all the previous visits I've had were always positive, but I have to knock it down 3 stars for wasting my time a couple of times. I went into jiffy lube 2 weeks ago on a Saturday to get an inspection done around in the morning and was told an inspector was not available until later on in the day. It wasn't an issue but just seemed off for an inspector to be out on a busy day. I called this morning at 9:45 to make sure that the inspector would be there and was told he would be there but would be leaving at 11:30 for lunch. As soon as I got off the phone I headed out to jiffy lube and got there at 10 and was then told the inspector had left for lunch. I had just called so that I wouldn't run into this problem and who eats lunch at 10AM?!?!?! I'm not sure if this location even has an inspector but I had a quick and better experience at another shop down the road. I'll probably stick to them in the future. read more

I have been to this Jiffy Lube several times in the past few years but never again. The first time I attempted to get my oil changed last week I was told it would take a really long time so I should come back another time. Really? There was one other car there. So later in the week I went back when there was NO ONE there and I pull up and ask to have my oil changed and the guy (same one from earlier in the week) gives me this disgusted look like "how dare I ask that" and then he asked another guy if the computers were working. (Clearly a tactic to get me out of there) Well the computers were working so I let them change my oil. I asked that they check my brake fluid (thinking that would be included) and they told me it was low but they don't top that off. Really? On top of having to pay $60 for an oil change I don't get fluids topped off? I will not be back anymore. Probably not to any Jiffy Lube. read more

I called on this store after I had taken my (newly purchased in January) 2009 Rav 4 to have the oil changed at Walmart. I only took it to Walmart because I had my grandkids for a week and we were there to do some shopping so I figured I'd kill the proverbial "2 birds with one stone". After doing our shopping, I go to get the car, which is still in the bay--the gal behind the counter tells me they are having trouble getting the oil filter off. The mechanic tells me they don't have the right tool, but they'll "keep trying" if I want. I tell them not only no, but hell no, I don't want my new car screwed up, thanks.....so I left there and called Jiffy Lube. The manager, Keith, was very personable and after I explained my predicament, he told me "just come on in...we'll take care of it..no charge". WHO DOES THAT THESE DAYS?? I was so impressed and when I got in there (it was several days later), the assistant manager was on duty and was equally as personable (sorry I didn't catch his name). Got my new filter on in a matter of minutes and was on my way.I offered to pay for the part at least but he said "no". You can be sure I will come here next time---forget WallyWorld! read more
