Everyone here was awesome! I recently went to a shitty mechanic who has a sign in front of his shop that says Oil Change! It literally took this person 2hrs to try to take the filter off. After being irritated and irate, I told him to release my car. I googled the location, and found this Jiffy Lube who was closing in 5 minutes. After calling and convincing them to stay open until I get there they did. I was so Pleased with their customer service. Not only did they stay open until I got there, they also put some kind of engine repair under the hood just in case it got damaged while I was driving to their location. Never coming here again. I have been a customer at this location for over three years. About the last 4 visits, my oil changes have only taken about 10-15 minutes, when in the past they would take about 30-45 minutes. I thought this a little weird. My last visit was about 3 weeks ago and yesterday my car would not start. I had my mechanic take a look at it and he said that my oil was really dirty and ask me why haven't I've been getting an oil change regularly. My last visit I asked them to please check my tire pressure. When I asked if it was done they replied yes. One week later my check tire light went on on my dash, all my tires needed air. I also noticed my car was not vacuumed. Up until today, I just figured they were really quick at what they do, but now I realized I got scammed! SMH.... so disappointing. read more

I went in to get an oil change on my lunch break - there were about 4 customers in front of me and I was out within a half hour. The staff there was very friendly and informative. Went in for my Uber inspection. $20 for the convenience seemed fair and the service was prompt. The only major is that the inspector didn't pass my car. I was very curious as to why as I just bought the car the week before. He told me one of my wiper blades was leaving streaks. I had used the wipers already with no issue so I politely asked him to show me. What was on the windshield was the tiniest 3 specks that I had to lean in to see. I looked at him and asked if he was serious, but he insisted he wouldn't pass me. So with little choice I paid to have them replaced so that I could pass. So far the replacements seem to be of far lower quality than my originals. Very slimy way to do business. read more

Yo! I needed to lube my driveshaft (that's what she said) on my pimp ride (aka my 4-runner), and called Jiffy Lube and asked how much it would be? Keeping in mind there's like 16 lubrication spots on a 4runner, the manager said free and to bring it in. Pulled in asked for Miguel and he told the mechanic "no charge" and I was outta there in 15 minutes. Mutha-effing Miguel! I went to this particular Jiffy Lube for an oil change yesterday. It was my second time here. They are new in the area. Back in the summer they had just opened and the service was excellent. OK, these grease monkeys have gotten comfortable and their true colors are now showing. Even though I got the "Signature" service. I had to tell them knuckleheads to add coolant to my near empty reservoir! And those idiots still had not added any! I had to tell them twice! The manager was very vile and nasty. He did not even have the common sense courtesy to say "Thank you" when paid! Yes, they have become "common" and I will never go here for an oil change. There are just too many oil change service stations in Chicago to tolerate this type of incompetence and lousy customer service. I have always liked Jiffy Lube for the value of everything included in an oil change and the customer service. This particular Jiffy Lube has been an exception. When I have brought in coupons they have consistently forgot to apply them and then instead of crediting me money back, they write a note to give me a discount on the next visit. This is not helpful if I had another coupon for the next visit anyway since I essentially just miss out on the discount from earlier. After reaching out about this on jiffylube.com the manager contacted me and promised to send me a voucher which was nice. However, later that same day my wife said our tailight was out and that is was out before I went to jiffy lube so she assumed it would get fixed. I checked the paperwork and it said all taillights were inspected, but clearly they were not. Again, most Jiffy Lubes are not like this but this particular one has given me a few frustrating experiences. read more

I own a 2006 VW Jetta GLI, I took it for oil change and they quoted me with $89.oo plus taxes, "because this car uses synthetic oil" he said, I didn't take the service instead I went to the Goodyear shop next door and surprise: $59.oo same service (same oil), it took me 20 min longer than jiffy but, I saved 30 bucks; if you have xtra time to spend forget about jiffy and go somewhere else. read more

Friendly Staff great service got my fluids topped off and air in my tires. I also asked for a free brake inspection. They took it on a test drive and then lifted my car found I needed front brakes. They gave me a free quote will be back to get my brakes done. read more

I have to commend this facility for its excellent customer service. My fiancé and I were waiting for a rental car facility to open next store and we are new to the Chicago area and needed a place to wait for approximately 45 minutes. The employees at this Jiffy Lube were amazing and so courteous. I may not have needed an oil change, but they helped us out and gave us advice on the city. Do not go here! I just went in to get my oil changed and was rudely greeted (if a short hello paired with a disgusted look on your face can even be called a greeting) by a man named Miguel. Jiffy Lube is a scam save your money this used to be my go to spot but now the reason why you're in and out so quick is because they don't fill any of the things that they are supposed to yeah top off for free they don't ever top off anything I'm surprised they even top off the oil wash windows vacuum carpet they don't do any of that really watch them when they're working on your car. I've gone in here now three times and each time I try to leave and turn my windshield wiper fluid on there's nothing in there. That's one incident and just recently when I went in for my top off I explain to them that last time I came in the mechanic proceeded to rip off my engine cover and try to drill it back on and it was hanging I told them to try to use zip ties to hold it back in place instead of letting me know they just decided to cut off my whole engine cover!!! Which wouldn't be s problem if they asked me first. I hate this jiffy lube if you live in this area you're better off going to a individually owned mechanic shop it will be the same price and better service this is like the McDonald's of mechanics THEY DONT FILL ANYTHING HERE !! Holy crap! What a HUGE difference!!! I was here last year, before the new owners took over, and the service was so incredibly rude I left (after an hour of waiting) without my car being serviced. Don't even get me started on how nasty the premises used to be (now they are clean and well kept). I just went in today and the service was so professional and incredibly fast. I was blown away. We were so pleased we brought our other car in a few hour later. I haven't had service like that at any Jiffy Lube in the city. Yes, the suburbs maybe, but I am not driving to Schaumburg to get my car serviced, and now I don't have to!!!! I can only pray it stays that way! YAY! read more

This Jiffy Lube is great. I have been coming here for many years to get my tires rotated, oil changed, oil and air filters changed, fluids checked. I always have a good experience. My car runs beautifully which means they must be doing something right. Today my battery died and I desperately needed a new one today right before the snow hit and temperatures dropped. Two hours before closing, they managed to order a new battery, get it to the shop, and change it. Everyone who helped me was awesome. This is why I go to this location as opposed to the one near my house! read more

When you ask how long something is going to take be sure you ask for TOTAL wait time. When getting my brakes repaired I asked how long it would take. Come to find out the JOB takes an hour but you have another hour an a half of wait time. Who the heck gives an ETA for completion like that? Please do not go to this place for new brake pads and rotors. This location charged $740 for new brake pads and rotors that had to be replaced again in less than two years. The original break pads and rotors lasted for over 4 years with no change in my driving. On top of that, they charged me an additional $200 for labor to replace the faulty rotors and break pads from the last time I gave them my business. My dealer offered to do the same job for $560. I just got my car back from Jiffy Lube... and something is wrong with the wheels and brakes. There is a loud whistling sound. Now I have to have the brakes checked for the THIRD TIME IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS. All said and done, this jiffy lube has cost me over $1000 for brakes that should have cost $560. read more

Went here for an oil change - yes they love selling things u don't need - they told me my coolant was empty... Weird my last 4 oil changes here that were sposed to come complete with top off but guess that never happened - I was told they would fill for free - as soon as I leave my car starts smoking- I pull over pop the hood and liquids are spraying out - car is overheating - I go back and am told that since it's not on my receipt they can't do anything manager Guzman says I should go somewhere else - wow - I am not happy and I spent 130 at this place and got played - I was driving out of town this weekend but I can't drive an over heating car... I've lived in Chicago for 5 years now and I've taken my car to a few places but never really loved any of them until now. I know exactly where I'll be going for my oil changes and then some. The customer service was above and beyond. They greet you right away, get some basic info about why you've come there and give you an (real) estimated time of how long the wait will be. The waiting room was clean and stocked with coffee. As I sat there waiting, I could see into the garage and those guys in there were hustling! They were communicating and quick about taking care of the vehicles. I like that they took my personal information, outside of the waiting room so no one else in there could hear. They provided me with a print out of information and future services my car would need (based on the manufacturer), which I honestly really needed. After my car was finished, they continued the excellent customer service by walking me to my car and even opening the door for me. I highly recommend this place. I've been a fan of Jiffy Lube since I got my learners permit at 15 (and thus my first car). They kept me moving up and down the east cost for 10 years and then I moved to Chicago. I tried 3 other Jiffy Lubes in Chicago and was just about to throw in the towel because of subpar service. However, I discovered this one was within a few blocks of my job and decided to give it one more chance. I'm glad I did. The service was what I was used to and the guys there were super friendly. So far I've gone on rainy days after work, but I imagine that if it was nice this is one of those locations that I'd feel comfortable with dropping my car off at at during lunch and then pop back to pick it up later. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because the price for my high-mileage oil is a little too high. It's $54.99 before I add any other services/replacements. The $5 off coupon is worth it for the basic oil, but once you get other levels it's kind of pricey. read more
