Nice clean location. The staff is friendly but they are not car experts! They only change oil and fluids, do not expect them to know whether or not your car takes regular oil, synthetic oil, Or full synthetic. The technician even showed me in their system where it only provides oil viscosity. I'm just glad that I was paying attention to $35.99 sounding too good to be true for an oil change for my Nissan. We have a car with weird insides, and this staff figured it all out! They do have a lot of options for oil (low to high priced) but are fine with whatever you pick. Very professional and quick. Wish I didn't have to give it 1 star to write this review. I went into this location and while getting a oil change it came out of the garage with paint missing on my right side panel! I asked the manager of this location Leroy Ellis to review the tapes immediately. He obliged but started the video at 5-10 mins before my car even pulled into the locations lot! When asked if we can speed this up he responds "I don't really know how to work this camera system so let's just let it play" finally we get to where my car is in the garage and see one of the employees standing near the paint removed scratches, after a few seconds he bends down and visibly looks at the damage and walks off continuing to work. I immediately call the police to which they NEVER showed up over an hour later. The manager kept insisting even while seeing the tape that the damage was old! I couldn't believe this! I had to drive to the police station and get a police report and call jiffy lubes corporate. All I've gotten back was that location is a independent franchise and I have to wait on a resolution from them which will be nothing I'm sure because here we are a week later and I've heard nothing. I'm warning anyone that reads this to STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Outside of the damage to my car as a woman all these men want to do is try to get over on you and attempt to "get with you"! Took my car to this location yesterday on July 3, 2017. Usually go to the Jiffy Lube up north where I live; but was on the south side and had some time on my hands. The staff was very friendly. They were ecstatic and kept emphasizing that this was a black owned Jiffy Lube. I really felt good that I could support a locally black owned business until later that evening. But to my chagrin, after leaving this Jiffy Lube (and finally reaching my destination) I noticed that my car was smoking. Yeah, smoking! I figured maybe they spilled some oil on the manifold or something. But I was still at work, and really didn't have time to assess the cause or deal with it at the time. When I got off work, I happened to notice there was a puddle of oil underneath my car. OMG - I thought. These Knuckleheads had to have forgotten to put something on right or forgot to tighten something. My car has never smoked after getting the oil changed; and sure wasn't smoking when I brought it to this shop. I immediately tried calling them back; but realized it was after hours and they had gone home for the day. Here was the real dilemma: What was I going to do. The next day was the fourth of July. Nothing would be open (including that Jiffy Lube location) I didn't feel comfortable driving the car because it was smoking and leaking oil (how much or profusely I didn't know) and finally- I live on the north side. How was I going to get home? Well, I made it home. Thank God! Thought about taking the car to another store on the north side but then it hit me. No way! I cannot give them a pass. They (the Black owned Jiffy Lube) will fix my car and pay for any incidentals in which I have incurred. By the way, it is a Mercedes. I am having the car towed to the aforementioned location on July 5, 2017 first thing in the morning. Part of the dilemma that I forgot to mention is that I was stuck in the house on July 4th. They totally ruined my holiday!!!! Last but not least, I am a Compliance Officer who enforces Quality Control. So my question to Jiffy Lube (and feel free to respond, Corporate Office) who is responsible for quality control or assurance for your company (or more specifically- at your local franchised shops) I will keep you abreast of my ordeal. I had the best experience at this location. The waiting area was nice and comfy with a fireplace. I've been to other places where I stood the entire time because it was so dirty and uncomfortable. I have been going here for over 10 years because they are very good and explain everything to you, but today was the best. I thought I needed an oil change for my new 2012 which uses synthetic oil, a service which would have cost $79.00, but when the tech checked under the hood he found the oil to be full and clean. He could have easily went on and changed it and charged me, but he didn't. He called me out and explained it didn't need an oil change. I thanked him for being honest. Jiffy Lube and Leroy came to the rescue on today... I got a citation for my rear brake lights being out. I called around and was quoted $45 just to diagnose my issue from another place (this would not include fixing the problem + parts and labor... YIKES). I called Leroy, came right over, problem fixed in under 10 minutes! Fast service + friendly techs + clean facility = I WILL BE BACK!!!! Thanks Team! read more

They broke a part off in my Audi A4 (plastic part that the dip stick goes into). The technician did not tell me he broke the peice but my oil sensor light came on later in the day. A day later, I had my father check the oil and he discovered the piece broken. When we took the car back to Jiffy Lube the manager had to contact the owner. The conclusion was, they would not pay for the broken piece because they prefer not to change the oil in foreign cars such as Audi because the parts can dry rot. There was nothing displayed in or around the store saying that they prefer NOT to change the oil of foreign cars. Nor did the technician inform me of this so call policy. I had to pay $100.00 plus tax to fix the piece. Not satisfied and they are not honest. I've taken my cars to this Jiffy Lube for years and never had a problem until recently. The attendant over tightened the bolt/pin to my oil pan resulting in damaged threads. The service manager stated that it must have happened during my previous oil change and that I should go to the dealership since my car was still under warranty to have it fixed. Of course, the dealership stated that Jiffy Lube was responsible for the damage. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and the attorney general's office requesting that my oil pan either be rethreaded or replaced due to the negligence of their technician. Of course the owner responded by saying he wasn't liable. Then refused to communicate any further with the attorney general's office. After over 10 years, I will NEVER utilize any Jiffy Lube. I will drive the extra miles to the dealership. It's sad when you can't support local businesses. read more
