Called on a Thursday morning to see how busy they were. Walked right in and had our 2 vehicles out in less than 45 mins. Can't tell you how valuable our time is when you've got little ones! They send coupons every month to help remind you to get your oil changed so that def knocks off a few bucks! They have a small waiting area with a TV and a water dispenser while you wait. I took my truck in for an oil change. Have been coming to this location for the past several years every 5000 miles. They used to always ask about additional services other than just the oil change. We are part of a fleet service now, and we set parameters about recommended intervals for seer iced and repairs. I came in for an oil change today. They pull my truck out of the bay, and I step up to the register only to see my total sitting at $140 and change. I was not provided an estimate of work to be done so I was expecting $75 for the oil change as usual. When I asked why it was so expensive the attendant said because we changed your wipers and your air filter. I was not asked if I wanted those changes, nor did they contact our fleet manager for approval. They did not offer to show me old parts or even make the correction and put my old parts back on. I asked for a discount, and the response I got was, your price is already discounted. I am not one to put up a big fight over something small like this, but I'm sure someone will blow up on you about this type of a forced up sell. This is unacceptable customer service. You did not follow the terms of ouR fleet agreement, you did not ask my approval, and you did not offer to make the transaction whole. Unfortunately I will continue to do business with you because of our fleet, but I will pay more attention the next time I bring my truck in. I hope this helps anyone in the future read more

This particular location has gone above and beyond for me more than a handful of times in the last 1.5 years. The manager is super personable and hands-on with his clients, although he doesn't necessarily recognize me each time I visit I still feel special and that is priceless. The workers seem to change most times when I come in it is a new set of staff - the current set isn't the most welcoming group upon first arrival. They do damned good work on the vehicles though and the manager makes up for their lack of customer acknowledgement and friendliness. Don't get me wrong, they aren't rude... they just aren't as warm as I have been accustomed to within the Jiffy brand. The Camry needed it's oil changed, so I'm passing by this Jiffy Lube, and I think "why not?" Well, I've been in the waiting room for a half hour and my car is sitting behind a mini-cooper waiting to be serviced. Is it busy? Nope. Not enough mechanics? Nope, there are 4. Are they standing around? Yep. I'm sitting here doing this review, but thinking I really should have gone to my regular mechanic for faster service at half the price. The only thing Jiffy about Jiffy Lube, is how fast they empty your wallet. Oh, and the waiting room TV has a crack, very sad. When l took it to Jiffy Lube when the guy tried to drived in in the ramp he ruined it more! I called the Manager he said he was going to order the parts and he will call me in two weeks! First I would like to say I just moved to concord and have only ever been to the San ramon jiffy lube. As I pull in today to get an oil top off or change if I needed it I was told they don't "service" Audi's.. never have I had a problem at the San ramon location and If that's the case then it needs to be on the website. Secondly the two men who came up to my car were nothing but rude at the fact that I wanted a top off and If it was over 3,000 miles I would have to pay for a change which was no problem. But then asked me to come back Wednesday when a manager would be in to do my oil change obviously will not ever be back to this location. All in all I wasn't even in their system the man tells me but I've been to the San ramon jiffy lube more than once. At this point I had enough and left wasn't going to pay a dime here. This was my first time at Jiffy Lube and it was OK. I came in with a coupon for $16 off the conventional oil change. Upon entering the drive-through, at first it was confusing as it is in the parking lot at Sams and Taco Bell. So I drove around once before realizing where the enter sign was actually taking me. When I pulled in there was no one to guide me to the faster lane so I went to the left which ended up being the slower lane. After waiting several minutes someone asked me if I had been helped which I told them I had not. I waited some more and someone finally came and asked what service I needed. I told him I was just there for a basic oil change, nothing fancy. Of course they wanted to upsell me on a synthetic blend or full synthetic based on the year of my car and I declined and told him that I did not want to spend that much on my car today. I was under the impression that they also topped off other fluids and inspected brakes but was told they did not do these things. They also told me they were understaffed which I wonder if that played a role in them not being able to do this. I was in and out within an hour which I would have liked it to have taken less time. The service is loud with the employees yelling back-and-forth different things that they need to tell each other. My suggestion is to roll your windows up and turn on the air-conditioning and bring a book or check out your phone. It takes a while. It was definitely a different experience. If I get another coupon I would likely go back only for the convenience of knowing that I am sitting in my car and I don't have to come back in two or three hours to pick it up. But of course you pay for that and it is not going to be a $25 oil change that you would get from another place where you simply drop off your car and come back. read more

I was a little apprehensive about going to a jiffylube in general, I can change my own oil but it's often a hassle at home and I drive (a lot too) for work with a very inconvenient schedule and I needed to get it done ASAP. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quick service, which is all visible from the window in the waiting room, so you can actually see and know what they're doing. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Bob in particular was fantastic, even was able to have a brief conversation about classic cars. As someone who knows cars, I can say I never expected to have such an overwhelmingly positive experience with a jiffylube, but I really did. The staff even knew how to drive a manual, which I've had dealer shops crash my car before due to staff not knowing how, so that's something I'm always thankful for. If you gotta get a quick service like an oil change done, this is the place to go. read more

I stopped in yesterday after 6:15ish, black honda CR-V had an oil and filter change. When you checked the engine air filter to inspect it, you didn't put it all the way back in, nor did you secure the cover. My care was making a new different sound on the way home, and since I myself am an 18 year master level tech for The Harley Dealership, I know my vehicles and I know this sound isn't normal. Pop the hood when I get home, and what do I find? My air box loose and air filter element half in. This would get me in big trouble, not to mention we have only 2 wheels as opposed to 4, and this would be a safety concern for my customers. You guys need to double check your work, because now I have to go double check your work, and I don't think it's fair, to charge the same price the honda dealer will charge with a coupon, if I leave the car with an appointment, in fact, 68 dollars, 2 bucks cheaper lol. Also, not every customer is the same, and while I find the antics there're kinda funny, again in my shop it wouldn't fly with the big man, and you guys should at minimum be aware of who is listening to what your saying.. read more

There was nothing jiffy about the services today. It took well over an hour to get an oil change, filter change, and tire rotation. I've only ever gone to jiffy lube, but not this one. I've been getting oil changes here for our vehicles for nearly 10 years now. ONLY oil changes. We have our tires and brakes done at Les Schwab up the street. The attendant crammed the sign-off sheet with a tire rotation, bumping up the ticket price for the visit. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. And the only reason i am writing this review is to hopefully save someone the hassle of going thru what i did. Your chances of coming to this location and getting your service completed with no problems are most likely good as they been in business for a while. However for me i did not get that experience. As they are doing the oil change i see they are about to drop in the new oil and the old one has not been drained. I ask him "arnt you going to drain it first?" The employee says "already did" then starts pouring the new oil. At this point i was just hoping he was telling the truth. I leave the shop and about 50 miles in the car starts feeling very stressed. Runs very rough. So i take it to a shop to see whats going on. And wow my engine had so much oil that so many things were starting to break. They also take no accountability!! When upon arrival I was greeted. I came in for an oil change and they washed my side windows never the front and they vacuum out my car which was really good because it does need it. I paid $87 for the oil change and I believe it took maybe 20mins at the most because I did come early in the morning to have it done. Customer service was awesome. read more

Just had my oil done within this month April 2023. Though everything was good to go. After they had finished my car went home. The next morning I always warm up my car for 5min. I notice a ticking noise. So I said to my self this never happened before when they did an oil change. Went back to the shop and said hey something wrong I know I just did a oil change this month how is it possible that I'm getting this sound. Told them my car never did that noise. So they check my car and told me my oil was very low. I said what how can that be when I just got it done this month and I haven't traveled anywhere. I understand that things are difficult due to COVID creating understaffing issues, however today's experience really created a damper on my day. I typically go to the Benicia location and it's always pleasant, however they did not have the AC fluid machine and referred me to check out the Concord location. I called ahead of time and asked if they had a working machine, they said yes. I pulled up around 3:30 and the attendant had me go to the left lane, I did not catch his name but he was very friendly. I was patiently waiting and by 5:15 I noticed that about 4 cars were taken care of and I hadn't moved an inch. I asked the attendant what was going on, he explained that they were having issues with the car in front of me but they would move it soon to assist me. Once the truck in front of me is moved, I pull up to the machine, continue to wait; and then they tell me the machine is broken and there is nothing that can be done! I understand things are stressful and things happen, but it would have been nice if instead of waiting for almost two hours in 90 degree weather in my car somebody would have said something than to send me home across the bridge for no reason. Overall experience was really frustrating, but I wanted to give a shout-out the initial attendant directing the cars. read more

After being quoted $200 to change a headlight out at Pep Boys I was feeling pretty frustrated. And that was the quote with me having already purchased the bulb! I ended up heading over to Jiffy Lube and they told me it was $10 to switch bulbs. Unfortunately, I had bought the wrong type (Pep Boys didn't notice) and was given a recommendation on where to get the right type. The switch took less than ten minutes. Fantastic service! read more

Horrible service. Unskilled wanna-be mechanics. Stay away from this facility. The owner obviously spends little or no time at the location. Had my oil.changed and had to rerurn it TWICE because there was oil all over my driveway. They improperly installed the oil filter and used the wrong filter. Hense the oil all over my driveway and everywhere else i parked. The manager did a good job of dancing around his responsibility. Passed it off as a "typical error". They did a lackluster attempt of cleaning the bottom of a car and gave me a coupon for a free oil change. They can keep the free oil change and come over to my house and figure out how to get these oil stains out of my driveway. Moral of the story, stay away and go somewhere else. read more

Got there a little after they opened on a Saturday and was the second car. They got to me right away, were very nice, gave me an estimate up front. About $40 more than the dealership and Firestone BUT, I added tire rotation as well. The previous weekend I went to 2 different dealerships that service my brand of vehicle. The employees were rude and irritable right off the bat. They told me it would be a MINIMUM 3 hour wait, even though I was the first and only customer there. I left and tried making an appt with Firestone. They had to call me back days later and said they are overbooked as it is and it would be a 2-4hr minimum. The girl on the phone though was very nice and very honest. After all the hassle with the dealerships and Firestone, I would gladly pay $40 more. The workers deserve it, we're in a pandemic and not many places have adequate staffing. I would totally recommend this place. read more
