My husband's classic truck broke down in the parking lot close to this shop about 10 mins before Jiffy Lube closed and all 3 of the guys at this location went above and beyond to help get us fixed up and back on the road. They could have easily closed the bay doors and went home but instead they did everything they could to help. Kind people are still out there and willing to help a stranger without expecting anything in return. Thanks guys, you saved us a tow and spared my husband any extra stress!! They tried to upsell me on brake pads that I didn't need. Beware of the scam. A worker said my front brake pads were low brought me out to my car and poked the pads with a stick. Somehow that indicates how much life is left on the brake pad. It doesn't. I got my brake pads replaced in May and took my car to the autobody shop that replaced them and they said my brake pads had 90,000 miles left on them. To check just shine a flashlight at the pad and you should see how thick it is. read more

Took my car in for an oil change. They told me my brakes were @ 2/32" and for safety reasons needed to be replaced. So I instructed them to measure in front of me, and... after some shuffling around and some "re-explaining," wouldn't ya know it, it was actually 5/32. While I'm sure it was an "honest mistake" like they repeated 50x, felt like it was worth posting this review anyway.... but wait time was reasonable. read more

I've been going to jiffy for several years, until now. I got an oil change a a month or two ago from here. Well I had a check engine light on and got it checked so I went to an auto shop. Lo and behold the oil actually hadn't been changed when I went in to get it looked at. The quality of this place is too bad. I would stay away from here until they fix there issues. read more

This is my actual complaint that corporate never followed up on? I'm assuming I was given the wrong information by the district manager (Chris) to even follow up. I recently stopped by for a quick oil change at your store in Golden, Colorado #1001.  When I came back to pick up my newer Grand Cherokee. I noticed 3 little slashes, Pressure cracks or whatever on the center counsel.  I asked what had happened and got instant evasiveness from everyone there.  Not only were they trying to say this is normal wear and tear on a 3 yr old Jeep, they tried to do it with looks of bewilderment and head scratching.  At this point I said just give me your Corporate information because I knew what was going to be in store with this group if I even tried to argue.    The District Manager Chris McDonald was in the shop but that was zero help.  This guy acted uninterested by the fact that there was clearly new damage and after 3 min of personal calls on his cell phone Chris came over snapped a pic on his cell and said he sent it to his "VP"?  Less then a minute later he "got a response" from his "VP" that this is normal wear and tear?  Thanks Chris I guess problem solved. Anyhow,  I could go more into the general lack of ambition and total indifference these guys have but I don't have that kind of time.  When something that POPS your eye the second you open your car door and your 100% sure you would have noticed it every other time you drive,  I have to call B.S. just off principal.   I run crews of contractors and when my guys break something or bump into things on accident  I acknowledge it and make it right with the homeowner.  Chris should have just apologized and found a reasonable solution to within his means.  Accidents happen, it doesn't take a genius level IQ to problem solve on the move with stuff this small.  Outright denials and shadiness however have to be called out at least for your corporates sake so you know you got mental giants out there f'ing stuff up and denying it. Take a look at the pictures please and make things right. Side note they do the classic Groupon scam where a $30 Groupon gets you $30 off a $70 oil change thusd making it just a frivolous extra $30 you're paying for no reason on top of their oil changes. If you guys advertise on Groupon again please don't list it as a oil change voucher. This is costing me more in time and energy to even write these emails to your corporate then the armrest is even worth. like I wanted it scam you guys out of a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee armrest. I decided to go to Jiffy Lube because they are generally good. I can't say that in this instance. I don't like leaving a place and having work to do to finish the job. I watched them take my glove box out and dump out the contents to get to the cabin air filter (I asked for an oil change, I didn't realize I had to specify "don't take my gd car apart." After watching how carelessly they were taking my glovebox out, I told them that I would re-install the cabin air filter and glove box. Getting back into my car, I noticed that the "signature service" vacuum job included leaving their own trash in the cup holder and leaving leaves in the floorboard. When I went to re-install the cabin air filter and glove box I noticed that they broke the plastic pin in the dash that the glove box catch holds on to. I'll attach a picture if Yelp lets me. They did show me that the oil dipstick showed "full" and that all the caps were tight. "Full" was past the full line on the dipstick, so I guess I got more oil than I paid for. I saw them pull the correct grade of oil off the shelf to put in my engine, so that's sort of a relief. They didn't damage the drain plug head, but they didn't wipe off the oil around it, making me wonder if it's leaking. I had previously had good experiences at Jiffy Lubes in Lakewood and other locations but this is making me question whether I will go to one again. I spent $70 (after coupon) on a "signature service" oil change and now I have a broken glovebox, too much oil in my engine and a dirtier car. They'll top off my fluids for free until my next oil change though... Oh, yeah, they changed my radio station too. read more

They were very fast at changing my oil. They also did a full run down of my vehicle and informed me of several minor leaks. They were knowledgeable about whether I should get them fixed right away or just keep an eye on them which is very helpful. Unlike lots of other places, they did not pressure or guilt me into buying/replacing/fixing anything, but were very helpful in informing me of what they recommend. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be returning for my next oil change. read more

I've had very positive experiences at this location in the past. However, the two attendants working decided to close over thirty minutes early, making it nearly impossible to get an oil change if you work a regular 9-5. I arrived at 5:25 and the attendants were extremely rude and made it clear they didn't care about servicing others and only wanted to get out early. Disappointing. read more

Robbed me blind and was lied to. I went in for an oil change, the gentlemen was extremely nice and helpful. I'm use to oil changes being $29.99 at other shops. There were signs for $30 oil changes online and in store. My oil change for a 2013 camry was $75.99. This is extremely over priced and it was due to my camry "needing more oil than most cars"... So unimpressed with the service here. When we arrived we weren't greeted by anyone outside or in and had hoped to walk for some lunch while we waited. So we waited and waited in the waiting room and watched mad chaos break loose. The woman who helped us was extremely unprofessional and kept complaining very dramatically about her bad day. Stopped typing our information to complain, huge pet peeve. We don't care.... Then they had some issue with the car wash flooding their bottom floor and made it very clear to all the customers things were going wrong. They were stomping around, slamming the door as they entered and left. More conversation was had when we finally checked out between the staff right in front of us. Awkward. I had nothing but great service from this Jiffy Lube location. I came in for an oil change, but I knew I needed to get my fluids checked and my tired rotated as well and they were able to do all of that for me in less than half an hour. I dropped off my car at 12:30PM and had lunch at the Pho Golden across the parking lot. At a little after 1PM, I came by and it was done! Bing, bang, boom! Easiest errand ever. The customer service was impeccable. Durand helped me go over all of the services I requested before and after the services were completed. He also showed me under the hood post-service to ensure that everything was back where it was supposed to be. I couldn't have asked for more. read more

Great service here today! Time for my oil change and I needed some place on my way back to Breckenridge. Had a group-on for a $22 oil change so I picked this place. The staff was professional and friendly. Also they got me out of there quick considering I had the tires rotated too. Also, had an issue with my air filter being loose, and they told me where I could go to get the part-and to come back if I needed help. :) Then they explained to me, in layman's terms, everything they had done to my jeep. The kids working here were nice enough. The way they were playing around while "working" on the cars is pretty sketch. The whole place lacks any professionalism. The car wash broke while I was in it. Then didn't even dry my car whatsoever as it was suppose to. I will not be having my oil changed here again nor getting my car washed. read more

I stopped by the Golden, CO Jiffy Lube for an oil change on my way home from work. I'd put more miles than usual on my car in the previous months and my "Maintenance Required" light had come on when I started the car that morning. First off, during my 40 minute wait, the guys in the service bays were yelling F-bombs at each other right and left. That was unpleasant, to say the least. But to make the experience worse, I asked that they include the spare on the back of my RAV4 when they checked the tire pressure, as the TPMS light was also coming on intermittently. This frequently happens with RAV4s and it's typically the spare that is the culprit -- a problem that has been corrected in newer models. After paying my $80+ I asked again if they'd remembered to correct the tire pressure on the spare and I was assured they had. The next morning when I started the car, both the TPMS and "Maintenance Required" lights came on. Don't know if I got anything that I paid for -- but I'll never use this Jiffy Lube again. If I were you I'd find somewhere else to get my oil changed. I went in it was just like a normal Jiffy Lube until I got home the next morning I had a huge puddle of oil in my driveway. After looking at the oil plug I noticed it was stripped out. Fortunately for me I know how to rethread it. Also my oil filter was on wrong it was all cockeyed and dripping totally unprofessional. I called them to complain but it did no good they seem to think I was trying to get a free oil change. which would be ridiculous because I just had one the day before. Excellent customer service from the moment we pulled up! This was our first visit to a Jiffy Lube and we were not sure what to expect. We were greeted right away, instructed where to go and offered waters while we waited. While our oil was being changed the service advisor offered additional services for our vehicle in an informative manner rather than the typical "pushy salesman approach". After our car was finished the manager did a walk through to show us that all the fluid caps were tight and the oil was full. The staff at this location are very friendly and professional. read more
