I went in on Sunday morning with my kids. Asked Alex how long the wait was. He said about 30 minutes. 20 minutes went by and they finally pulled my car in the bay. Alex approaches me saying that Jiffy Lube no longer stocks 10W30 motor oil. (How does a Jiffy Lube not stock one of the most common motor oils.?) I told him I had been there 3 times before with no issues. He then tried to tell me that my car requires synthetic or a synthetic blend. (No it does not.) The previous guy, Steve I believe, never tried to sell me this service. I always put standard oil and have them add Lucas oil treatment. I told him to pull my car out and left mad. Let me backtrack a little. My wife brought in our 2000 Lincoln Towncar in and they said she needed a battery. I am a service writer in the automotive industry so I told her I would get one from work and bring it home to install it. I get a call 15 minutes later from my wife saying the car now, will not start....Kinda funny huh? Especially when another person said this same thing on YELP. They had to have messed with a battery cable. The car sat in my driveway for a week and she got in it and started right up before she took it in. ?? I had them put the battery in so my wife was not stranded. Being a service adviser myself, I could not live with my self by ripping people off like this. This place should be shut down. I can't believe all of the positive reviews it gets. I will never take my car to ANY Jiffy Lube again. read more

Third trip here! Again, I was greeted warmly by Jason. He explained that there was one car in front of me...no problem...I wasn't in a hurry. The man in front of me was finished and Jason came and talked to me. He explained Chevrolet's recommendations -based on mileage (all necessary) I gave him the okay and they started working on Harold (my car)...what touched me and cracked me up at the same time is that Jason entered Harold's name in the computer, too! Work took a little bit longer because Jason had to order spark plugs...but Jason kept me informed. Again...the waiting area is neat and clean with new and comfortable chairs. My only "complaint" is that there are no restrooms...but usually a customer isn't there that long. (Thank goodness the car wash next door has restrooms!) All-in-all...another great experience! Stay away from this Jiffy Lube! This store uses high pressure sales tactics and stories to try and sell you services you do not need! I was told I needed a air filter when I had changed it just 2 months ago. Plus Steven said I was not allowed to use conventional motor oil in my truck, even though that's all I've ever used in my 10 year old truck. Steven spends so much time trying to up-sell everyone, the wait is forever! It took 55mintutes for me to be called, and then 10 more listening to all his spiels. Brought my Miata here today for an oil change and spent 100$ for a synthetic service. Needless to say, it's the biggest waste of money and the worst experience I've ever had with vehicle service in terms of them taking care of my car. They over serviced my engine by a full quart, which has now over pressurized out of the engine and onto my driveway, probably blowing a seal or two along the way. Not to mention the entire splash pan of the car is now covered in oil from a sloppy fill, which is now dripping all over my driveway. They're good at taking a clean, leak free car and turning it into something reminiscent of a 40 year old, leaky junk heap sitting in your driveway. Luis Grimaldo takes this place over the top. I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube for years now but have never been to this location before. Now that my car has passed the 90,000 mile mark I am interested in getting a great oil change that will benefit my car AND my wallet. Luis took a great deal of care and time to explain to me the differences between the various oils offered and the other things my car needed. He was also totally comfortable with showing me the filters from my car that needed changing. He was totally transparent with me which made me feel good and he gave me a discount which I appreciated. The location also offers other services that interest me like a fuel saving package and headlight restoration. Even with the extra time he took with us, they still completed the work on my car quickly. Before I left I noticed that I did not get a reminder sticker on my windshield so I asked for it and got it right away. Thank you Luis and Eric! I will be going to them again. read more

I love this store! Friendly welcoming staff and NO, the lobby does not look like a broom closet. It's a damn mechanics shop people, not a salon. They go above and beyond to assist with things other oil places would turn me away for. The skid plate under my car is held with zip ties and three other stores turned me away because they refused to touch it. This Jiffy Lube didn't think twice to help me out. Never go here! Especially if your a female! I went today to get an oil change and they tried to trick me. I had done my research. My handbook said use conventional oil. I came in ready and they tried to tell me the cap under the hood was different and the manual had been updated. Their manual said to use synthetic. On top of that they tried to charge me $102 then would it help if we took $20 off? No I don't like being treated like an idiot. Double checked my cap they lied to my face. Great service at a great price.The only thing that bothers me is that they always go over the things they think you should do (filters, belts, radiator flush, etc.). They do not push you but I know that these things are not needed because I get them done, just not at Jiffy Lube. I would give them 5 stars if it was not for this small issue. From yesterday, April 12th about 2:00PM... I didn't have service done at Jiffy Lube BUT I did stop in their parking lot after my car began making howling sounds while turning. I didn't want to go any further down the road and the closets place to me was this Jiffy Lube(not from this area). The worker(I didn't catch his name) was more than happy to come out and take a look at my car. He not only diagnosed it but fixed my broken dipstick(until I could get a new one) and topped off my fluids that were leaking out which was Power Steering Fluid. Due to him helping me, I was able to make it home instead of having my car towed. Thank you so much, whatever your name is at the Hemet Jiffy Lube on Sanderson, for helping me yesterday. There are still good people left in this world! I truly appreciated it and now the car will get a new Power Steering pump and hoses and I won't have a tow fee on top of that. read more

The staff were happy, and made me feel like my business mattered. They made me feel comfortable and were quick to let me know of service readings that may need further attention. The best part, they were NOT pushy. They explained what needed to be done and numbered them in priorities. Oh, and they happily gave me the oil service I requested. In the end, they topped off all fluids, put air in my tires, and vacuumed it out. They gave me my 4 Runner back, better than I gave it to them! I brought my truck in for an oil change and coolant add. It was and has been running fine. They told me about the corrosion on my battery and said they tested it and it was low. When I left the truck seemed to run a little rough. When I started the truck later fuel a strong gas smell was coming out of my tailpipe and the truck was running real rough so I shut it down. The next day i took it to jiffy Lube and they checked it. They said two fuel injectors were stuck so I drove it back home and called my mechanic. Rod is well trusted and honest mechanic ... a little high on his price but you can trust and depend on him to get the job done and trust his work. I decided to have my truck towed to Rod's because quite frankly I was afraid the truck might explode if I drove it. Rod told me that the computer was holding all the injectors open. He went on to say that how that occurs is that someone might have tried to charge the battery with the leads backwards. He saId it would happen almost instantly . I asked him if testing could cause the problem and he said it might. So here's the deal .... no one but Jiffy lube was under the hood of my truck. It was running well when I took it in and it was not running well when I took it home. At Jiffy lube they told me of the corrosion problem with my battery and said test showed the battery was weak. I informed Jiffy Lube of my mechanics findings and was told they weren't going to address the situation ... if I needed to I could take them to small claims court. I never once raised my voice to the people there nor did I make any threats. I was calm and simply reported to them what I learned about the problem. Most people would have thrown a " hissy fit" ( whatever that means ) or at the least yelled at them. i did not. We all know that I can't prove anything and that it was highly unlikely that anyone who didn't have to pay for the damage they caused was not going to pay it. I simply gave them the opportunity to do the right thing. Nothing to do with integrity right? ..." it's only business... nothing personal" Sometimes I just want to spit. I am a senior and a Vietnam vet. I simply don't have the money ... Maybe I can save it in 2 or 3 months... but it sure would be nice to be able to go the mountains once in a while or go grocery shopping or to the doctors without bothering a friend . read more

Service at this Jiffy Lube location was terribly disappointing. I will never return to this location and possibly will not return to another other Jiffy Lube affiliate. My daughter's car was first taken to this location, the technician was told that we were only interested in having the basic oil change. Please keep in mind that along with the oil change, Jiffy Lube checks other areas of the vehicle (ex. battery, filter etc.). After the car was checked, the technician returned stating that the oil which is recommended is a higher grade and if we did not put the recommended oil in the vehicle, the car has a higher chance of catching o fire and it is considered a breach of warranty as for the the manufacturer's warranty. The cost of the higher grade was much more expensive and we chose to leave our decision as is with the regular oil preferred. The car has been operating fine; therefore, why change it. Approximately, a week later after the car was services by Jiffy Lube, my daughter called stating there was a problem with the car. The car was then checked by her father to find that there was not much oil in the car. The oil was really low and the battery barely had water in it. One of the service which Jiffy Lube offers, or states that they offer the courtesy of checking and topping out fluids which the battery was one of the things which should have been checked. If the technician completed the job of doing everything which was suppose to be done, then the oil would not be low and the battery fluid also would not be low. It seems to me that Jiffy Lube breached the contract and misrepresented their services by not performing as stated. Since this had seemed to be the first bad service, I figured that it was just a bad day for receiving such bad customer service. I called it a wash and decided to give them another try. About 2 weeks later, I returned to this Jiffy Lube location with my vehicle. Unfortunately, during my wait sitting in the lobby, a technician called up a customer which was a senior and gave him the same pitch of breaching the warranty and stated that the manufacturer specified that his vehicle should have the higher grade oil which was much more expensive than the regular one requested by the senior customer. The customer declined and the technician did not seem to happy. I wondered if they make a commission on selling the higher grade oil. Thereafter, I was called up to the front counter and the same pitch was given to me as well. Remind you that it was the same recommendation as when we took my daughter's car 2 weeks prior. Although this was a different technician, he stated the same pitch... My car risks catching on fire and breach of warranty bull. I declined again and decided that this would be my last time patronizing this business. Might I say that I had a problem with my vehicle about a week later. Jiffy Lube states that they check the battery and top off other things as a courtesy. I can guarantee that my car battery cover was not even lifted because if they did, I would have been informed that the battery terminals were corroded. The corrosion was significant enough to where I was stranded at the store due to the car not being able to start. I do not know much about cars, but I can tell when something does not look right. The Jiffy Lupe technician did not inspect everything as they are suppose to. Instead of trying to get me to agree on buying the higher grade oil, the technician should have told me that I had a bad battery. I'm not sure if they sell batteries there, but if he had shown me the corrosion, I would have purchased one instantly to avoid being stranded. Well, with all that said, this Jiffy Lube location would receive one quarter of a star if I had the ability to specify that on my own. I no longer have any vehicles serviced here nor any other location affiliated with this vehicle service provider. Times are hard enough for many, so if a person decided to patronize the business, why should we be cheated out of services that they state will be performed. It is a breach on their part as well as misrepresentation of their services. Taking advantage of their customers is wrong and it is bad business! read more
