I wish I could give this place 6 stars - but since I can't, 5 will have to do. Allow me to explain why. For the longest time, I'd been getting my oil changes done at the local Wal-Mart; with varying levels of satisfaction. Sure Wal-Mart is cheap - but you get the level of service that you pay for. About a month or so ago, it was time to take my wife's Kia Sportage in for an oil change. It was close to 5pm on a Sunday. I was dreading going to Wal-Mart and being bored out of my mind waiting 2-3 hrs for them to finish. I knew that a local Jiffy Lube had opened a few months back - so I decided to try against hope that they'd be open on a Sunday. To my pleasant shock, they were! I found out that they were open until 7 during the week and 6 on Sat/Sun! Score! Anyway - the level of service I got there was highly competent and professional. They showed me what the manufacturer-recommended services were for the vehicle's mileage and left the decision totally up to me with no pressure at all. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The price was a bit more than Wal-Mart but the level of service and time saved was MORE than worth it! This past weekend I took my own car in for an oil change and A/C recharge. They got me in fast and there was a swarm of technicians around my SUV; vacuuming, cleaning it out, checking this and that. Turns out they had to do a minor repair to the A/C system that required a bolt they didnt have. So one of them drove to the local Autozone and bought the bolt and didn't charge me for it. They had me in and out in a little less than an hour. I was very impressed. About a week after I got my wife's car serviced; I got a customer survey call from Jiffy Lube corporate asking me about my experience there. I was happy to rave about them. I don't know if all Jiffy Lubes are like this but if you're in the area and need an oil change or the like, this is certainly the place to go! read more

He told me what I needed and it actually ended up being cheaper to get because of the deals and what had to be done. I will be going to this Jiffy Lube again and again! They were so courteous and professional! I just went in for them to change my light bulb in my 15 Jeep Trailhawk. And they were not pushy were completely honest from the beginning so I decided to get my oil changed and even with the light change I was in and out in under 15 min and I never got out of my Jeep! I believe his name was Mike T was very informative on which oil change I should get. My hubby is disabled so he was home and I called him and he said yep do what Mike said so I did! IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET READ THIS REVIEW!! Simply taking a 'no' won't do! I cannot believe the sharks they have working for this particular one! I went in to get a simple oil change. The prices kept fluctuating from 39.99 to 82.00 to 60.. geesh! AND if you don't get the service that they want you to get they try the whole SHAME game. Even went so far as to parade me out in front of all the other employees (five) stand around talking to me on how crappy my oil is and everyone keeps recommending me this or that and whatever - all the while giving me looks of disgust if I cant afford what they want. I had a great experience at this location despite all the Covid madness going on. I stayed in my car the whole time and they provided a mobile AC to blow in through my window. I was helped by Mark, I thought I needed my headlight bulb replaced, but he checked it out and it was only the fuse that was loose. He topped off all my fluids and was on my way. I don't live far from here so this is the one I go to. Unfortunately the last time I went there was this older man by the name, Mark T. Don't get anything done while he is working because whatever you get he will give you less of. I was talking to one of the employees and he told me I didn't need something at that moment then came Mark T. and kept trying to push me to buy more. I know it's good for business to sell more but if a customer says no and they keep trying to push you to buy more and then they try to skimp you out of whatever you get I might not ever go back. read more

Came in for an oil change, and I supplied my own synthetic oil & OEM oil filter. Still got charged $50 for the oil change. Afterwards I find out that they have $20 off oil change coupons, but they did not mention this to me, even though I'm a disabled senior citizen on a fixed income who has to watch his pennies. Instead of flushing/draining the oil from the oil pan through the drain plug opening, they ran a hose through the oil filler tube at the top of the engine, down into the engine pan and vacuumed out the used oil, which can leave old oil, dirt & metal shavings in the oil pan. When I questioned the "mechanic" about this procedure, he just shrugged his shoulders and said that's what they are told to do by the main office, so that's what he does. The Jiffy Lube website states that as part of their oil change service they will also vacuum the interior of my vehicle and clean the exterior windows. Neither of these services were even offered by the "mechanic". Another thing that was not mentioned to me, nor was it on the invoice, is that Jiffy Lube will "provide complimentary fluid top-off service on vital fluids including motor oil (the same type of oil purchased originally), transmission, power steering, differential/transfer case and washer fluids. Just stop by within 3,000 miles of your service mileage, and we will top off up to two quarts per fluid, as needed." This information is only found on the Jiffy Lube corporate website. It's my impression that I may have been taken advantage of by Jiffy Lube because I am an elderly person. I may be incorrect, but that is my opinion. read more

An employee there peeled out in my car. He thought it was pretty funny. He said, my gas pedal is sensitive, really?! My husband told the manager and he said, why don't you tell him something lol. It is funny, but not good customer service and that's why all the shops are closing in SB, so sad. We like to support local businesses but not when they have poor customer service. read more

I'm forced to give jiffy lube 1 Star, when I think it should get shut down. I came in September to get an oil change, they then told me I'm due for fluid change for my transmission. So I gave them the go ahead to change it. A few weeks later I get stranded on a stop light, my car all of a sudden wouldn't go. I get it towed and checked out. My transmission was blown!!! I had the dealership take a sample of the fluid to be tested and low and behold wrong fluid was found that caused the breakdown!! I went to show the paperwork to the manager, I think his name was Steve. He basically scoffed at me told me they put the correct fluid and that the staff that worked on my car had been there the longest and knows what he's doing. He said he'd give the paperwork to his district manager. I had to go back three times to get the number to the DM since I did not get a call back after a few weeks. Finally heard from the DM that he just sent it to their claims department and would get back to me. Of course he didn't after a few weeks when I left a message saying that the dealership is going to start charging me for my broken down car to be on their lot. Then the claims department finally calls saying they will pay for the damages. It takes another few weeks to finally have them pay for the damages but they still owed me for the original service and the cost of diagnostics. I was told that they would expedite the refund. After another 2 weeks I email them and she replied that for some reason there was an error and will be sent out immediately. I then asked that I should be reimbursed more for all the hassle, inconvenience, and time spent. She said that it is written in their policy that they only cover damages. It took about 3 months to have my car fixed and refunded for the service. My family only had one working car the time this happened. We really needed our other car. I'm glad we didn't rent a car because they wouldn't have reimbursed us for that either. I would have posted this review sooner, but i didn't want to slow down the process of them fixing my car. Oh I forgot, the only time I got an apology was from the claims department for there being an error in refunding me. Please don't go to jiffy lube, or you'll risk your car with their negligence, especially the one in Highland. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube on Highland Ave. in Highland, Ca. last week to have my oil changed. At the time all seemed to be just fine. This week I needed some additional work done on my truck and took I it to a local shop for a noise in the rear end. They asked if I wanted to have the oil changed and I told them that it had just been done. When they put the truck up on the rack they saw that the oil filter was dirty and had not been changed so they checked the oil and found that it was black. I am very disappointed and will never go back to any Jiffy Lube again! What a rip off!!! read more
