Wait times aren't bad at all! I was in the area for an appointment and afterwards got my oil changed and state inspection. I didn't realize they done state inspections as well so I was pretty excited it was a one stop shop for me getting these two things done. Sasha was amazing in helping me with both . If I could put a 0 star review I absolutely would! I went to this location to complete my State Safety Inspection. This is a $13 simple check of standard safety measures on your vehicle as we ALL know. Jiffy Lube thinks it's a good idea to "check" a bunch of the engine and brake functions on your vehicle as well, even though I specifically asked for JUST an inspection. Upon completing my safety inspection, they proceeded to try and sell me all types of extra services, one of which they were wrong about. (Told me my coolant levels were low, and it wasn't at the correct pressure levels. When I said, sure I'll pay the extra $13 to top it off, turns out they tested it with the cap on and when they took it off the pressure levels tested normal, basically I didn't need that service at all) The major problem here is they do extra stuff to your vehicle to try and sell you more crap you do not need. The result of these NON-SAFETY INSPECTION "checks" is that when I brake to come to a full stop it sounds like Jets are flying over my truck. Clearly there is something wrong with the braking system that ONLY happened after I brought it in for an inspection. When I realized something was majorly wrong with the truck I brought it back to the location this morning. When I got there, I spoke with a woman who I can only assume holds the title as "Manager" where after explaining that nothing was wrong with the truck when I brought it here and now have a major issue she looked at my paperwork and told me "You only paid for an inspection, that's all you got. We didn't bleed any brake lines or do any other service." Essentially her point is, they won't even look at it again, and it's my problem now. DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT bring any vehicle here! Unprofessional, could care less if you have a problem with the service, just want to sell you extra crap and will, WITHOUT your permission, go into other systems in your vehicle, with the potential of completely messing it up. I am beyond disappointed, more so pissed that I had a working vehicle before I came in here to now a bunch of issues to address and no idea what this establishment is going to cost me down the road. This was an absolutely horrific experience that I don't wish on anyone in Jacksonville, NC to deal with. Do yourself a major favor and STAY AWAY at all costs. The completely lack of compassion for my situation and shear fact that you can't recommend extra services and do checks WITHOUT going into the system is just false. You had to get the number read outs somehow and the "suggestions" had to come from being in my other systems that have nothing to do with a safety inspection. These guys are absolute sharks and have no business calling themselves mechanics. Most untrustworthy situation I have ever found myself in. Absolute scam and again I would suggest NEVER taking a vehicle here, even for the simplest thing like a safety inspection. read more

Great crew who took care of my truck today. They were polite, quick, and provided excellent service.

Leaking oil was the result of my trip to this Jiffy Lube location. I give them one star because they were courteous and quick, and they only tried to up sell me on the oil and not all the other typical money making tactics. However, not only did they not do everything on the "total service" checklist, they "adjusted" my tires to the wrong pressure. After the guy checking me out showed me what they set the pressure to, I explained they were new tires at the right pressure and showed him the spec guide inside the driver door. He said they would fix it...they did not. A few weeks later I started seeing oil in my driveway and parking spot at work. I was concerned, but with no significant pressure loss or drop in level, I figured it had to be something other than a large leak. All the oil ended up just under the filter. Sure enough, after getting under the vehicle, the oil filter was covered in oil and wasn't even tightened up against the oil filter mount! The bottom line is that for the amount you are charged at quick-change locations, the least you can expect is that the oil change is done correctly. My recommendation is to find another location or a mechanic you trust. This could have resulted in significant engine damage. read more

Brought my car here for an oil change. Turned out i needed a new battery. My wait time went from 30 mins to about and hour. But i appreciate the professionalism i experienced. The female clerk was polite and attentive. She explained the problem with my battery very well and walked me through the process and wait time. From what i saw the workers here are very professional and they seemed to work well together. Took my car here for an oil changed. It was quick and everyone was kind and friendly. Everyone usually complains about the price, but oil is expensive plus labor. The prices turns out to be decently affordable with the coupons they usually have online or printed out (if you've been there before). They also offer military discount. I normally do my own oil change if I have time, but when I don't find the time to do it myself at home then I take it to this Jiffylube. Prices are a little too much and if you don't know anything about cars they will try to sucker into doing things to your car that don't need to be done. For example they say your air filter needs to be changed or your differential fluid needs to be changed. They'll ask a lot of little things like do you need your tires rotated or more windshield washer fluid. It's not the right way to do business at all. One star cause we took my friends truck to this jiffy lube to get the oil changed. Got the truck back after they supposedly changed it and gave the all clear. A day or two later we find out the oil was not changed and they tampered with automatic transmission filter. Took the truck back to the assistant manager and we let him see the oil. Says it's fresh oil when it's clearly black as hell. Keep in mind this is synthetic oil. Using a 5w-30 Mobil 1 oil. Decided to just do the oil change ourselves. Whoever was on duty to change the oil should get written up or fired in my opinion. Overall, Don't recommend this place at all for oil changes. And def telling people about this incident. read more

Never a bad experience at a Jiffy Lube. My little car needed some TLC after a rather long road trip from California to North Carolina and Jiffy Lubes Signature service is always my first choice. I know they vacuum but, I never seem to have my car floors clean. What can I say, kids, dogs, and lets be honest I just throw all my trash down there. It's my car, and that's what I do. But they made my windows pretty, and my car was running nice and back to her normal self. Not bad for a 14 year old dodge neon. I totally plan to throw a huge 200,000 birthday blow out party for that car, bouncy houses and all, and I hope my local Jiffy Lube will join in the celebration!!! read more

I was here for an hour and a half for an oil change/inspection. They had one lane open out of the three when I first arrived. They then let people go in front of me after opening the other two lanes, after I had already been waiting in line for 30 minutes. I wouldn't have been so annoyed with waiting a long time if there wasn't 5 employees talking about their schedules in the office rather than working to get customers in/out efficiently. My vehicle was done and sat outside for 10 minutes before they cashed me out. I will never come here again and do not recommend this place. read more

After reading a few bad reviews about the other Jiffy Lube on Western Blvd, I was hesitant to take my business here. I drove all the way from Sneads Ferry to get my oil change at a Jiffy Lube because, hey, the Signature Oil Change includes vacuuming, fluid top offs, inspections, etc. There are three bays. I drove around to the back of the garage, and was greeted by a Jiffy Lube mechanic. He asked me what I needed, told me to leave the keys in the ignition and pop the hood. I was directed into the waiting area, which had coffee and water. Chris, the customer service manager, was upbeat and took a few minutes to go over the services I needed and the type of oil that I would like in my car. The oil change took 20 mins tops. They were busy, but did not falter at continuing to provide good customer care. For the Signature Oil Change on my 2007 G6 was $43.99 with conventional oil. The vacuum job could have been better, but it will do just fine. I am pleased with the service I received and would recommend this business to anyone looking for a quick oil change. OH! Had a flat tire and came here to get it fixed, the air pressure light was still on when I left. When I asked them about it they said it would come off in a few minutes I drove home and woke up the next morning with the same flat tire that I paid for a new tire for. So he says okay we have to get it from the other jiffy lube down the road. So I'm sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting.. one of the dudes drives my car out of the garage and they continue working on everyone else's car. Workers keep coming in to cash other people out and doesn't say anything to me. So after 2 1/2 hours the part we were waiting finally shows up. Didn't see any truck being any parts or anything. Great customer service ever one is really nice and friendly but very slow and lazy. 2 hour wait for a oil change and tire rotation. I sat and watched my car in the bay for an hour and a half while people walked around my car. Every 30 minutes I was told another 30 minutes. People came in after me and left before me multiple times. I finally said I had to leave in the next 30 minutes and to finish what they were doing. They pulled my car out and again I watched people look at my car and look and me and then walk away.
