I have been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for many years and have always appreciated the staff at the North Rancho location in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. I stopped by to have my fluid levels and tire pressure checked before leaving on a trip. My first concern was that the employee assisting customers (a young man with dark hair and glasses; unfortunately, I didn't get his name) helped a vehicle that arrived after mine before acknowledging me. When he finally spoke with me, I asked if he could check my fluid levels and tire pressure. He told me it would be about a 25-minute wait, which I was perfectly fine with. However, I was never invited into the waiting area, so I remained in my car in 100-degree weather while I waited. When it was finally my turn, the fluid check was completed so quickly that I honestly don't believe all of the fluids were checked. The tire pressure check also took only a few moments. He told me, "Your tires are fine--they're all at 30 PSI." I asked what the recommended tire pressure was, and he replied, "30 PSI." That response made me question whether he had actually verified the manufacturer's recommended pressure, as he never appeared to check the sticker on the driver's door. To be safe, I stopped at Discount Tire afterward. Their employee, Nicholas, checked the door placard and confirmed that my vehicle's recommended tire pressure is 33 PSI, not 30. He inflated all four tires to the proper pressure. I've always had positive experiences at this location, which is why today's visit was so disappointing. My concern isn't simply that a mistake was made--it's that basic maintenance checks may not have been performed thoroughly. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that this employee receives additional training to ensure customers receive the careful service they expect from Jiffy Lube. read more

You know some of us take care of our cars. I went to Jiffy Lube and instead of a professional clean job they drop oil on engine like it's no big deal. My wife had her car done same place they did not even put oil in I do not recommend Jiffy Lube anymore there is other spots better Bottom line if you care for your ride stay away I know some would consider bellow top dot full but we pay for full it should be to Top dot read more

Went to this Jiffy Lube in December 2024 for an oil change. They claimed I needed a new air filter at the time. So I got it. I went today April 11th for another oil change. This was after just 3,000 miles and about 4 months later. They claimed another air filter was needed. I know nothing about cars. I had stepped outside for fresh air and they came in and told my wife who was inside waiting and showed her the supposed "dirty air filter". I didn't happen to see the filter nor did they allow us to take the old part. She knows nothing about cars. So we just assumed positive intent on their part. $50 for an air filter. We paid $155 in total and got hosed. After this we took a trip to Auto Zone and O'Reilly Auto Parts looking for new wiper blades that they completely forgot to install for us (that error actually saved us money). I asked workers in both locations if an air filter was necessary after only 4 months/3,000 miles. Every single worker said no including a regular customer who overheard me speaking to workers and scoffed at the idea of Jiffy charging us for one so soon. "Yeah you got ripped off" is what he said. I don't mind paying for an oil change and the labor that goes with it since I don't have the ability to work on my own car and I admit that. But I DO take issue with being charged for something that isn't needed. Don't take advantage of people like that. Based on this last visit I won't be coming back to this location. I don't need 5-6 air filters per year. I could probably go back to this Jiffy Lube tomorrow and they would claim I need a new air filter. Lesson learned. Edit: 2 weeks later and not a single response from the "owner" who asked me to email him on Google Maps. Reposting here to further warn local Las Vegas car owners! read more
