My car is my home away from home... TLC for this car

Shoutout to our local community heroes! The office staff, the boss man, and my tech, Matthew! They go over and above to make sure everything works and looks better than it did before you got there! I don't have a lot of time and energy for the old ways and waiting for someone in the family to help change my oil... so this is the next best option and I will admit, a lot more thorough because of the diagnostics and safety inspections. Matthew , my technician, took time to explain the process, findings, and the costs involved. I really appreciated his professionalism and courteous attitude. I like how he explained why things were needed and how it effects how my car works more efficiently... saving me money and making me healthier I barely even had enough time to finish my breakfast at the Denny's restaurant across the street before they finished my car! Make sure to tip your front line heroes like these workers! They do the dirty jobs that are necessary, life saving, and keep our car investments going! God bless !

    Scuffed rim.

For the price they're charging to change tires you'd expect they'd take better care of your wheels, especially aftermarket rims with a unique finish that can't easily be touched up. Not the case here. Their explanation was simply "this happens" (it doesn't) and all they did was discount the tire change for that wheel. First and last time trying jiffylub for anything.

When I say I love this franchise and my laurel MD location. I never have to wait my service is anyways professional and they never harass me or upscale me on something not needed. The location is easy to get to but not a while lot of parking. The inside and bathroom are clean and they always have their coffee got and ready even though I never had a cup it's what I've observed. I airways been on a Wed morning so do keep that aspect in mind.

The three bottles I had to put in the interim because jiffy lube installed a faulty oil filter leaking all my oil 4 2weeks

On or around Sept 30, 2015 I got my oil changed at Jiffy Lube in Laurel, MD. The service technicians always disrespect my intelligence by pulling out my clean engine air filter and trying to get me to pay for them to put in a new one ($40 btw) This time I gotta lil snarky with them nothing rude but I let them know you cant bring me a clean air filter and try to sell a cow milk. They proceed with the oil change and after 30 minutes I have my vehicle back. So about a couple days after my oil change I notice my oil pressure light is blinking. I thought it was a fluke. No one's oil light EVER comes on. So I ignore it with the promise of checking my oil soon. The light eventually goes away and I forget. I go out of town and my vehicle remains parked for a week or so. Week 2 I come back into town and the oil light is flashing more now and Im getting worried. Yesterday I promised myself I would take time to check it. Tonight, 10/19/15 with a 4% iPhone battery, low cash (lost my debit card) and low gas. I heard a *CLACK CLACK CLACK* come from my car. Still in denial Im like no thats coming from the car behind me. I stop to get gas with my last $20 cash. Something said to me "Dont spend it all" So I put in $15 buy some gum and pocket $4 and some change. Well as Im pumping I check my oil dipstick. Low and behold THERES NO OIL IN MY VEHICLE. THERES NOT ONE DROP OF OIL IN MY CAR AND WHATS WORSE? IVE BEEN RIDING AROUND FOR 2 WEEKS WITH NO OIL IN MY CAR. A stranger named Hiram who noticed my plight and offered to loan me his funnel. He also checks my dipstick in disbelief. The one drop of oil on the dip stick is brown meaning they never put in any oil after draining my vehicle. I purchase three bottles of oil and put in my car. Now the oil is level in between the dots on my dip stick. Shame on you Jiffy Lube. YOU HAD ONE JOB! Change my oil and you failed. Whoever is responsible should get a firm reprimand. I hope this is not retaliation for snarkily refusing to have my CLEAN engine air filter replaced by Jiffy Lube for $40. I will be requesting a refund of $30 I paid for the oil change and that Jiffy Lube pays me for getting an oil change some place else.

I do appreciate them trying to sell you whatever you possibly could need like windshield wipers,…read moreair filters and such. I enjoyed listening to their communication with each other and how they each have individual responsibilities for certain tasks. Please know that you can count the cars ahead of you at 30 minute increments to get an estimate of how long you'll be waiting. Tips: They have late hours & coupons online A bit overpriced but with the coupon not so horrible for full synthetic.

I will most likely not use the location ever again. For a multitude of reasons. Let's get into it…read more When I first pulled in there were two customers in front of me. When I got into the line I was told by an employee to pull up to bay 3. I did so. I am idling there and then another employee came up to me and told me that bay 3 was closed. I was told to back up and pull into a spot and wait until one of the other two cars pulled into a bay. This wouldn't have been bad, but the lot is so narrow here and if another vehicle had pulled into the lot, I would not have been able to do this. Then a vehicle left the bay and one car pulled through. I was instructed to pull up to the bay to be in wait. What is supposed to be a 15 minute service turns into anywhere from 30-45 minute wait. While sitting in wait at bay 1, lo and behold bay 3 opened up. A bay I was told to vacate, I would have been in by this point. Instead, another employee came out and told me to move to bay 2 and I would be in within a few minutes. I move again, and while I pull up to bay 2, I give them my information so that when I get in there it won't be that long of a wait. I explicitly told them I just wanted an oil change and that was all. Nothing else. They then try to upsale me on so many things. Radiator flush, transmission fluid change, wipers, air filter, upgrade to a synthetic oil. Then the best of all, they told me that my vehicle has started to have an oil leak. Funny, no oil under my car no matter where I park, no low oil light either. I know you need to meet quotas, but if I tell you I only want and oil change, respect that. I do not want to pay top dollar for a service I can get done elsewhere for cheaper, or do myself. Especially when you show me something that I had just done myself a mere six months ago. Also, when I tell you that I don't drive very much now, respect that as well. I don't put the wear and tear on my vehicle as much as I used to. I appreciate the hustle, but respect my intentions.
