Always hearing mixed reviews about Jiffy Lube, in a whole, I was somewhat hesitant to have them service my vehicle, but it's a new car, so I did not want to take any chances driving. Bottom line: I went in with a bad mood, bad attitude, you name it...left feeling 100% satisfied. Customer service was great! Jeff, in particular, took care of me and walked me through each and every service they were providing for my car, step by step. I stopped in for routine oil change and tire rotation on my Dodge truck. Let me start off by saying the ONLY reason I come here is because the truck is a fleet vehicle. So with that being said they went through the motions and changed the oil and performed tire rotation. They preach their "signature service oil change" which is supposed to include cleaning Windows and vacuuming inside which doesn't seem like a big deal but they NEVER do it. So once the truck was finished I proceeded down the road and almost instantly smelled burning oil. I pulled over and popped the hood and there was oil slung everywhere. I turned around and went straight back. They said it was a faulty gasket on the filter which you would think they would see leaking when they did an inspection before they handed it over to me. I love these guys. They measured my tires to see if it was worth the money to do it and luckily I only have 6/32 left so why bother, but that also depresses me because I almost need new tires. Anyway, these don't skip a beat and communicate with you the entire way. I've always change my own oil and decided maybe I would decide to go and get my oil change instead of doing it myself I'm going to start change my oil again after my most recent experience with Jiffy Lube. 3000 miles ago I had both my air filter changed. today they pulled the air filters out again and they were filthy and said look you need your filters changed I explained they were just changed not more than a month ago and they said that sometimes happens that filters will quickly get dirty again This is a complete crock of shit they didn't get that dirty after 3000 miles they didn't change them last time but charged me. The manager refused to comp me and provide me a free filters oh well my loss. At the end of my oil change they said that they vacuumed the inside of my car I got in and drove away and look down, The carpet was not vacuumed at all. These guys are the best. Everytime I go I'm feel so welcome and taken care of. All the employees are super friendly, and will chat happily with you. It's like they are always in an awesome mood and loving their jobs. They make good suggestions for taking care of my car, without suggesting unnecessary products. I really appreciate that balance! Everytime I go they are very quick, efficient, and thorough. They always take extra care to check everything and go the extra mile with little things like vacuuming the floor or washing the windows. Also, when a mistake does happen (which is so rare!), they are VERY quick to own up to it, fix the problem for no charge, and make sure the mistake never happens again. I've been to this Jiffy Lube a few times but the last time I was amazed how efficient and quick they were. They changed my oil, filled my fluids and replaced my license plate bulb in 5 minutes!! I just sat down in the waiting room when they called me up to the counter and told me my vehicle was done, I couldn't believe it. There were allot of employees working this day and they were running around like a Nascar pit crew, so maybe the corporate big whig was doing a visit or something. Consumer beware: although I have enjoyed coming here for years, I've come to the realization via first hand issues w this particular location that they do put up a good game face when it comes to friendliness and prompt service, what you don't know, however, is that they will charge you for a particular part or service, and do another. They over promise and under deliver, which is the worst way to do business in my opinion. Besides those facts, I've also heard they are currently dealing w a lawsuit over not replacing the oil tank bolt, which left their customer w no engine just a few miles after leaving their location. I was looking for headlight cover restoration services and was surprised to find Lodi Jiffy Lube on the list. They do not take appointments due to the nature of their business - first come, first serve oil change, etc. I dropped by and spoke with CJ. He was so busy, but took the time to talk to me and asked if I could leave my car for a couple of hours. He called me in about an hour and said it was done. I'm so sorry I have to do this. My last Yelp review for this was a 5 star because they were consistently exceeding my expectations. I don't know if they hired a new crew (or person) but my last experience is one that I would like to share. Keep in mind, I have taken my car to this place for nearly 4 years and was always extremely happy. Now, I don't think I'm going back. Approx. 6 months ago, I took it in for the regular oil change. As usual, they remove your air filter to try and sell you a new one. I didn't need one because it hadn't been that long since my filter had been replaced so they placed it (or should I say SHOVED IT) back in the car. Well, as I was driving later that day, I noticed that my engine sounded deep and loud- like a muscle car... which my car is definitely not. I had a mechanic look at it and he had a feeling that because it happened right after the oil change, it could have been that the filter wasn't properly re-installed. He was correct... to my surprise, he showed me the air filter and it had some damage from being forced back in. I had to purchase a new one and luckily the deep sound went away. However, if I hadn't paid attention, it could have easily caused a lot of damage to my engine. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back there for my next oil change due to my lack of confidence in their work. I could only assume that it's a new, careless hire because this isn't in line with what I have experienced for so many years. I hate that I can't find a Jiffy Lube that does the job correctly and I might as well learn to change my own freakin oil because this is just ridiculous. read more

Have been to Jiffy Lube maybe ten times. Twice, the oil drainage cap was not tightened and I had to return to have it adjusted. They gave me an "oil blanket" for my trouble. I wiped up the drips. Today, I had another vehicle serviced and...you guessed it...gotta go back to have the bolt/nut assembly tightened because it leaks. They are quick and cheap, but this is just poor work.. read more

First time at this Jiffy location the service was quick but half hour longer than estimated by the person I talked to upon arrival. Weekends are always very congested with alot of people but they worked threw them with precision and as a team. Issues I noticed: bathroom toilet handle broken, light sensor on bathroom broken, store working bay area could use a good high pressure cleaning, and sitting area could use a thorough cleaning and moping. They oversell - I wanted regular oil change, and they insisted on the more expensive synthetic, saying they couldn't legally put regular oil in my car. Then they said I was low on power steering fluid and that cost $70 +. I said no. Went next door - spent $4+ on fluid and found out it was full! Will never return and don't recommend. Decided on Jiffy Lube only based on a discount coupon from the Sacramento Kings. To our surprise, we had one of the best customer service experiences to date. Michael greeted us with professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness. Michael checked us in with ease and explained the process quickly and thoroughly. He then directed us to the lobby and offered us our choice of cold water or hot coffee. We sat in a climate controlled area, that was comfortable with the enjoyment of TV and/or a video feed monitor of our vehicle and the work being performed. As we waited, CJ explained that everything looked to be in order and that the only added concern would be that we were ready for a tire rotation. CJ offered to perform the rotation -however, we never felt pressure to add on this service. We chose to add the tire rotation and we are sure glad we did! CJ went above and beyond with our rotation.
