I do my oil changes here all the time. I have never experienced an upsell, they did exactly what I asked. I have stopped here on two occasions for minor issues, got my power steering fluid or coolant topped up and left without having to pay anything. That will keep me a regular. read more

They were busy and polite about how "first come, first served" and there maybe a few minutes of waiting. No problem, I can wait. Quickest oil change EVER! Emmanuel and Chris were super helpful and quick. Definitely worth the drive from Stockton to Lodi. A little tip--instead of paying for a "30k servicing" at some dealership which includes a lot of low-yield "inspections" -- instead try consulting your owners manual to figure out exactly what servicing is required at various mileage intervals. I was greeted before and after my service and they even showed me the color of the clear oil in the oil change and transmission fluid changed that was performed on my car. BEWARE!!!!! I went to this jiffy lube for the first time for an oil change and tire rotation. After being fast talked, I purchased a battery and a few other items. I went on my way thinking everything was just great. Now, Three days of my time, $500, three tows, and a lot of stress later ... The Stockton jiffy lube on hammer lane figured out that the battery I bought from the Lodi jiffy lube was installed incorrectly. Due to this error, sensors were tripped which caused the $500 of mechanic repairs. I was told that the manager stefanie would contact me... Two days and no call!!! Contacted the corporate office and no return call either. BAD BUSINESS!!!! UPDATE!! Jiffy lube quoted me $1300 to fix my car. They said I needed a new AC compressor and alternator. Took it to the dealership... $181. Ridiculous. read more

They did a good job of informing me of what was wrong with my truck, what needed to be changed/fixed and the estimated cost BEFORE performing any work! They made sure I was comfortable and apologized profusely for my wait-though it didn't take long at all (30 minutes tops)! I'm a long time Jiffy Lube customer so I'm familiar with how things should normally go. Yesterday was the absolute worst. Pulled in and was greeted quickly - was told I could wait in the car or go inside and wait. I chose to go inside. 25 minutes later the service advisor calls me - shows me my air filter and cabin air filter - both were fine and asked about my wipers - again fine. She said ok - it will be another 15 minutes. She finally called me up (after cashing out a customer who pulled in after me) and told me it would be $76. I asked what for? She said for the oil change. I told her there was no way I'm paying $76 for an oil change. I told her - no one asked me what I wanted. (I usually get the least expensive oil change). She said she could give me a coupon for $14 off. Nope. Again informing her - NO ONE ASKED WHAT I WANTED! She said she had to check with someone and was gone for a bit. Came back and said they could drain the synthetic oil and put the regular stuff in. I called her bluff and said "sure, go ahead". She then said oh it will be about 45 minutes before we can get to it. I asked why - to which she replied well all these other cars are ahead of you. How on earth are they ahead of me if I was here first ???? I have absolutely zero confidence anything was done to my car. Didn't go over the checklist at the end saying what they found and what they did. It was the worst experience I've had here and likely won't be back. I pulled around the back of the lot and called corporate - not to be a jerk but to let them know they have a serious problem here. Had it been my first experience and not knowing any better - I wouldn't come back. I've had good experiences here before - but yesterday something was horribly broken. There's more than one oil change facility in Lodi to be treated so poorly. Corporate did offer me a gift certificate for future service - which I will probably use - it might just not be at this location. read more

Quick service and courteous. However people should check their fluid levels after the service. We had a low coolant problem and asked several times for them to top off the coolant. They charged us $3 for coolant top off and we were told it had been completed. However, after checking the coolant it had not been done even though the paperwork said it was at a satisfactory level. We asked a fourth time to top the coolant off as we have been charged already. The staff told us it was because the car was on a slant! It wasn't... after a fifth time they finally topped off.. and coolant problem was gone. Such a simple service that most people could do themselves is not being done by Jiffy Lube. Went in for an oil change. Left feeling good, quick, seemingly efficient service. Drove about 2 miles and my oil pressure light came on and stayed on. I drove back, the assistant manager tells me that part of my old filter had fallen apart in the filter housing and he had got out what he could see. NEVER mentioned as I was paying and preparing to drive off!!! He pulled out the filter splashing oil everywhere as he was telling me it was MY FAULT, and any repairs would be on me, "we don't do repairs here". He then proceeded to reinstall the filter splashing oil all over and having to work hard to tighten, like it wasn't in correctly. At that moment he snapped off the oil filter housing mounting bracket, broke them right off. He then zip tied my filter housing in place, leaving the housing being supported by the hoses connected at the bottom of the housing, ordered the new bracket parts and said they would be in tomorrow. Left me standing there with my oil pressure light on indicating no oil pressure and a broken filter housing????. I took my car straight to my mechanic. The following day he found that they had left the entire bottom part of my old oil filter in the housing, crushing the new one on FORCED installation, and shorted out the pressure sending unit due to all the oil splashed all over that they did not clean up..... The only part that is fair about this deal is they admitted poor workmanship and paid my mechanic. But in the mean time I suffered 2.5 days of missed work that is "on me" out 20.00 in gas money for rides, just for coming to Jiffy Lube........I GOT SCREWED!!!!!! I have mixed feelings about Jiffy Lube in general, but this branch is really quite great. They were efficient, polite, professional, and clean. If I lived in the area this would be the place for me to change my oil. I am sometimes put off by the pushiness of the folks trying to sell you extras at Jiffy Lube, but the young man at this branch was very courteous in his approach and advise. My brother in law lives near by and I will go back when I come to visit. read more

Yesterday afternoon I was on the freeway my oil light had been coming on and off the past few days, I knew I needed an oil change. My car started to slow down and the the engine and oil light came and stayed on. I quickly googled the closest Jiffy Lube and quickly exited. It was literally 5:59 when I pulled up knowing they close at 6:00pm. The doors were still open and a kind gentleman walked up and asked "how can I help you"? I said "I know it's 6:00pm but my car is overheating and I know it needs an oil change" I was directed inside the office where I could wait in the comforts of an air conditioned office and cold water while they worked on my car in 101 degree weather. Not once did these gentlemen show any signs of frustration or rush to get me out of there. I'm am beyond grateful and relieved for there expert service and overall care and concern over my vehicle. This is my usual place for oil changes they are always so nice and helpful. This last time I went in I mentioned that my check tire light was on, they said they will definitely get that fixed. As I was checking out and going over the car I double checked that the tires were filled so the lady went to recheck them and said she wasn't able to access the valves... Said that when I got the tires at Costco they must have put the hub caps on covering the valve and that I can go to Costco to have the pressure checked and tires filled.... If they never checked the tires why was it marked that they did and why were they ok sending me on my way thinking they checked when they didn't. I even told them that my costco membership was expired and she yelled to the garage asking if I can still go.....so more than one person knew that she was pushing me and my tires off on costco.. They also didn't mark in the computer that I went there because normally I get an email asking me to do a survey and the only email I got was reminding me it was time for my oil change. So it seems like they purposely didn't want me to take the survey. I can't say that I'd be back and be confident that they did what they said they did.... That's disappointing. I've never had such a positive experience at any auto-repair place I've ever been to. This Jiffy Lube location (Especially Paul, who was the one that worked most with me) has the best customer service I have witnessed, hands down, in a LONG time. And I'm talking about in general, not just for auto places. It was very nice to see that there are people out there that still care about the customer experience and doing whats right. I was, of course, given higher priced, up-sale, options and suggestions on services I did not go in there intending to have. HOWEVER, that's all it was: Options and suggestions. I was NEVER pushed and NEVER felt pressured to purchase the highest priced product or service if I didn't want to do so. Everything was thoroughly explained to me. Not only did I know exactly what they were going to do and why, I could watch it happening on their TV connected to the cameras in the shop while the work was being done. They also had a regular TV to watch, magazines to read, and coffee/water for all their customers to enjoy. As I was waiting for my car to be done, (which was completed in a very acceptable amount of time) I witnessed a few other customers coming in and receiving the same excellent service I had gotten, no matter which employee brought them in. I've been to this location twice in the last week for oil changes on both the cars in my household and intend on returning for any future maintenance. I highly recommend taking your car to this location, you definitely won't be disappointed. read more

I have been going to jiffy lube for a while. The beginning of this year I started noticing that the engine light started coming on after a couple of weeks after I would have an oil change ( this started happening regularly after an oil change). So I would request jiffy lube to do a diagnostic and they said it would not register. I would have to add oil by either 1) top it off by jiffy lube or 2) add it myself. As soon as I would do this the engine light would disappear. I had an oil change Oct 1st, 2016, 5 weeks later again the engine light came on; I went to Jiffy lube to top it off (still had 2000 miles till my next oil change) they said they could take a look to see what was wrong, I decided I needed a 2nd opinion. Went to another auto shop and found out the oil was dirty as if an oil change had never taken place! The engine light is no longer on! read more
