I was told that the oil change includes a floor vacuum and a refill of of windshield wiper fluids, and transmission fluids and several others. REPORTED TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUS ....Went in for rear and back brake and roters change for my 2010 Audi A4 on April 25th 2014. Estimated charges were $547.72 for the change of my brakes. John started working on the front brakes, he then started the back brakes and came across a part he did not have. He told me that he could get the part in by April 29th 2014. I called John to follow up April 29th 2014 and he said that he did not have the part as promised and would give me a call no later than May 2nd 2014. I went back to the Jiffy lube location May 3rd and he did not have the part again. John then told me that he would for sure have it in May 6th. I went again to the Jiffy lube location and John started to work on the car and could not finish due to an error with his equipment. He sent me away with unfinished back brakes on my vehicle and said that he had already refunded me for the brakes. John called me the morning of May 8th 2014 told me that in order to receive my refund i would have to come into the location yet again. Later in the evening on May 8th 2014 i called the location and they said that I'd have to speak with a manager who was not it. On top of the running back and forth to the location and bad customer service i am still stuck with an incomplete job which will cost more money to fix than getting them done by Jiffy lube in the first place. I have still not received a full refund that i am seeking and no one has even taken the time to call me. I want my Full refund for major delay in service repair, no work completed and improper customer service. This was a big safety hazard and could lead to future damage of car and or injury to my spouse and child if i was to get into an accident. read more

Overpriced and the guys pressure you into additional services that aren't needed. I paid to have my tires rotated in addition to having an oil change done. They pulled my car out of the garage and told me everything had been completed, I asked how could that be possible when you didn't ask me for my wheel lock? I arrived at 1215pm on a Sunday for an Uber inspection. I parked to the side and a JL tech comes and tells me to park next door or on the street so I parked next door. I walked in and spoke to the Uber rep to check in after I did they tell me to stand by my car and wait for a tech. The guy that checked in before I did got his inspection done and I'm still waiting and 15 minutes later that person which arrived just before I did drives off. I see the same tech that told me to park next door or on the street about to start on someone's inspection that arrived way after I did so I spoke up and he told me to pull inside. I park and get out and he started on the other guy's inspection so another JF employee asks me if I was there for an Uber inspection and I told him yes and that I was next. He tells the other tech and the tech gets upset and says "now I'm gonna get the side eye from the ppl waiting" oh so it was ok for me to wait even if I arrived before them? So he stops the other inspection and starts on mine and after he finished he again asks me to park next door or on the street and they'll enter the inspection into the system. I park and walk back and tell the tech thank you and then go to the Uber rep. The Uber rep tells me he doesn't have my paperwork yet so I go inside to sit down and wait. 10 minutes later I see the Uber rep taking care of the person that arrived after I did so I get up and question why there's no organization because my inspection had been done 10 minutes ago and he doesn't have my paperwork but he has this guy's paperwork who's inspection was done after mine and another person's inspection that also arrived after I did. He goes and checks with the JL tech and the tech tells the Uber rep that he's entering mine into the system now. This is the same tech that did my inspection along with the 2 other inspections for the customers that arrived after I did but he entered their paperwork into the system 1st!! I know he did it on purpose because I called him out earlier for taking care of someone else that showed up after I did. I blame Uber for not giving them an inspection priority order but to make matters worse afterwards by purposely entering the other 2 inspections before mine is just horrible customer service. After all that I was there for an hour and 15 minutes for an inspection that took all of 3 minutes. I've done 3 Uber inspections at other JLs before and it never took more than 20 minutes to complete the entire process. This location needs some organization badly, no wonder the yelp review is bad. read more

I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. I normally don't write reviews but I had to write about my experience here at this Jiffy Lube. When I first arrived, I was greeted by someone who was very rude and seemed like they had no customer service skills or training whatsoever. I have worked in customer service before and you can tell by how you are greeted how your experience is going to be. So when he greeted me with a very bad attitude ( mind you this is not his first time someone has greeted me with a bad attitude here) I knew this was about to be a rough time. Once started, he immediately assumed that I wanted the full synthetic blend for my car. Once I stated that I did not want that service but wanted the synthetic blend he goes on to tell me that my car requires that I have the full synthetic blend. He quickly shows me some writing on the screen and the second I begin to read it, he immediately turns it off so I could not read the paragraph and I have to do what he says. I would rather have my little sister work on my car who does not have any experience working on cars then go back to this Jiffy Lube. Would not give them a penny of my money especially if they are not going to give me what I ask for and give me horrible customer service! Bad business here!!! Totally disappointed!!!! read more

I had a pretty good experience today at jiffy lube. The mechanics were nice and didn't try and sell me the things I didn't need. I got a synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and changed my air filter. They told me my brakes and fuel system would need standard work soon but didn't pressure me into buying their service and said my car would be fine without til my next oil change. Over all this place is a pretty good place to get a quick oil change and it was way cheaper then going to the dealership! read more

I received an oil change last month and paid for the high mileage oil only to find out that my oil was extremely low while getting my brakes changed by my regular mechanic. Not only was my oil low, but it was old and dirty which should not be for a vehicle that recently received a oil change. Plus, who puts a new filter on but failed to change the oil? This is the worst f****** sevice ever!!! I was over charged $171.00 for oil change . I waited for an hour and 45 minutes when there was three people there. And then when they did finish they pull my car out other garage and didn't put up the parking brake my car is a stick it started rolling into the street. The second I pulled up I received great customer service. I got out of my car and Oscar told me to come in and politely walked into the reception waiting area. I told them I needed an oil change and they asked me what type of oil. They did recommend a better oil to me but told me I didn't have to get it. I am sure the better oil you use the better your car runs but today I was ready to just pay the $30 for the oil change so I let them know that and they proceeded to change my oil. They then brought in my filters and asked if I wanted them changed. It is great they show you and ask if you would like to change. If I didn't see the filter I would have probably said no but it looked dirty so I proceeded with getting my filters changed. Knowing that they asked me and didn't try to upsell made me feel very comfortable with my decision. They aren't pushy at all and just make recommendations. Very good service and would highly recommend getting your car serviced there!! Oscar had great customer skills from the second I pulled up until my car was completed. Took my car in for a rear wheel brake service at 10AM and was told it would take about 1-1.5 hours. I show up noon and car still was not done. At 12:30 or so I asked how much longer and was told it would be about 30 more minutes. Another hour goes by and again I ask how long it will take and I'm told another 45 minutes. I leave to get some food and receive a call shortly after saying I need another item repaired and this will take even more time and cost more money, apparently it went unnoticed the during the 3+ hours it spent on the lift. Total wait time was 5 hours, thats more than triple the amount of time I was originally told. I did receive a 10% discount (only because I asked for one due to the inconvenience), but wasn't able to use my original brake service coupon because they already applied a discount. This was all pretty disapointing since I've never had any issue at this location in the past. When all was said and done I was told the delay was due to them needing to special order a part, which is completely understandable, but I was only informed of this after I waited 5 hours. read more

My wife is taking a long trip this week and I had my brakes done at another shop this weekend. The brake light came on yesterday morning on my way to get an oil change. I asked John the master tech to take a look and make sure the brakes were done right and to fix whatever it needed. He inspected them for free and said that who ever did them did a very good job. They just forgot to top off the fluid so he topped it off for me. His honesty was refreshing. I was expecting him to come back saying the truck need a bunch of work done. Thank you John. The first time I came to this Jiffy Lube it was because it was only 2 miles away from my office. The process took no less than an hour, but because it was convenient I came back. The second time they told me there that I had 4 items to be urgently fixed. They wrote them down on a piece of paper and I said go ahead and fix them, that took and hour and a half and about $300. The next time I came in, they told me that I needed to get an item fixed, of which I remembered that I asked them to fix, they showed me a chart and said it was never done, but I remembered asking for it. So I believed the chart and told them to go ahead and do it. It took an hour and a half and $250 bucks. The next time I came in it took them an hour to change my oil and I watched the mechanics all screwing around in the back for the last 20 minutes doing absolutely nothing, when I asked what was taking so long they said they were still draining my oil... The final time I came in, they listed off a few items and wrote down a list of those items on a napkin with no price. I said go ahead. It took them 2 and a half hours to finish the work. When I got it back the price was higher than they mentioned. When I brought that up they said "I wrote it down when I showed you", when I looked at the napkin and it was written there. However, as I mentioned, they never wrote that price in the first place. I argued about it until the manager gave me the "special" which was still $30 more than they quoted me. I was escorted into the lobby for some warm coffee and waited about 10 for them to call me up to the computer where Jose the manager came and explained to me what services were recommended for my car. I was a long time customer until things started to fall apart(literally). On one occasion after an oil change my dashboard fell!! Turns out after making the oil change they lost all the parts so instead of saying something they just let me go and well the dashboard on my mini van fell off 3 blocks away, I headed back and they fessed up to loosing parts so an employee just took them from his car ( this happened 2 years ago) I just didn't want to make a fuss so I moved on, but recently I took it again for an oil change and 2 months later my mini van shut off turns out it was a safety feature because it had ran out of oil. This had never happened so I think they just didn't put any oil. I also took my van to finally get serviced at the dealer and they said it had bolts and an oil pan that didn't fit .. So I came here to change the oil from my car because it was close and I did not want to drive all the way to the dealer. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! After they did the oil change my car did not want to turn on, and let me say my car is new so you wouldn't expect your new car to not work. They took a look at it and said it was battery that it needs a new one. I was quite puzzle because it was not that long ago I look my car to the dealer to get a new battery, so they went ahead and change the battery of my vehicle. Still my car did not want to turn on and they said with about my engine. I was pissed off once my car did not want to turn on again because I just came of an OIL CHANGE and then all the sudden my car had this out of no where issues! When I told them like "hey, what did you guys did to my car!?" they said it wasn't them that my car was like that and that they "never experienced anything like this!" Their customer service was not great either because it seems as if they did not care what happened to my car and simply said to take it to the dealer. So I had to get a tow truck and take it to dealer so they can fix it. Waste of my money and time coming here, NEVER again am I coming back here. read more

This place is a rip off!!!. My mother went there for an oil change and they convinced her she needed transmission service, so she spends over $250.00 for this. One week later the car has no transmission fluid in it, so she takes it back and they tell her the gasket for the transmission is bad( which should have been noticed by the tech) the first time. Now mind you its Wednesday, she has to get around, so another $190.00 for the gasket replacement. Now it's Friday no transmission fluid in the car, she takes it back and now they're saying they don't know what it is. We took it to another shop and the tech says it's the transmission seal, it sits between the transmission and the engine. Now he wants $400.00 to fix it, mind you the tech said that should have been noticed when the car was in for the first time. My mom is 66 and a place like this and or the employees that would take advantage of a older woman like this, is not a place I would recommend for any one. What was I thinking going there! I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Ok, fine. After a half hour I noticed they moved my car and put another in the stall. I asked why and the guy at the counter told me he was told wrong and thought the other car was first. The owner of the other car even said i was there first. Ok, so after that I show the guy at the counter that I have a coupon and he tells me that it has the address of Huntington Beach on it and they are each franchised and that he can't use it. He did state that they have 15 off at his place now so I can use that. I explained to him the address of Huntinton Beach just states the last place I went. He didnt get it. Very frustrating. I asked him to just give me the 15 dollars off because we are just going in circles. About 15 minutes later I am told my car is finished. I drive off to get gas and have my car washed when i noticed that they didnt check the air in my tires. So at the gas station I checked the pressure of the tires which reads between 20 and 25 psi. It should've 35psi since they just checked it. Great. Now my hands are dirty and back hurts from having to check and fill my own tires. I noticed 3 of the 4 metal valve covers on my tires are gone and replaced with the standard plastic black ones. They didn't vacuum it either. Wondering what else they didn't do. Definitely got hustled here. I went it for an oil change and was expecting to spend about $100 since I get the synthetic oil. I was told my radiator fluids were low, almost completely empty. I was very skeptical since I recently spent $1,500 elsewhere getting my timing belt and some other things in my engine replaced. Why would those guys not top my fluids off when I'm spending $1,500? Anyway the guy at JiffyLube kept saying he recommends replacing the fluids, it will mess my car up if I don't get it done. I agreed to get it done and came out with a whopping $180 bill. Would have been $200 but they couldn't figure out how to rotate my tires. I thought about it later and it really bothered me that I felt I had been hustled. So I called my mechanic where I got my timing belt replaced and asked them to go over the charges. They said the radiator fluid WAS already replaced a month ago and I was charged for It by them! So it was completely unnecessary for JiffyLube to do it! they probably didn't even do it, just took my cash. IT's really unbelievable that I can't get my oil changed without getting lied to and robbed of my hard earned money. F*** these guys read more
