Completely incompetent. I paid $200 for an oil change and my check engine light came on the second I drove out of the place. I called and they tried to tell me the light was on when I came in. As if I wouldn't know!? I got it checked and it was a broken sensor that is literally next to the place where they changed my oil. Out of an abundance of caution I placed cardboard under the car to see if I'd catch more oil and I didn't. I've never been so ripped off by an oil change in my life. The only reason I went to Jiffy Lube was because I got one of those stupid coupons. I drive a Subaru and to start off with, they told me they only carry the "upgraded" oil. I asked for just a standard oil change and they said they could only do the expensive oil, that is all they carry. At this point I don't really want to get my oil changed here, but I've got the coupon and they tell me it's actually a good deal because the oil lasts 5,000 miles instead of 3,000. I give in. THEN, when I get to around the 3,000 mile mark, my oil light starts to come on. I check the oil and it's a QUART low! A quart low. This should not be the case. This was the most expensive oil change I've ever done and the worst oil change I've ever received. Do not be fooled! This place is a total rip off. Side Note: I am actually a female. I reply with yes and I'm guided into the bay. Located right next to the chevron sharing their parking , I was very pleased and surprised by this location. They made the entire process quick, painless, and fluid. Joanna was wonderful right from the start. I called to see how much an oil change would cost and she greeted me on the phone with care and professionalism. Even answered my question about coupons and told me that she'd apply it without me bringing anything in. Well this was my first time at this location and probably my last. Went in early so there would be no wait. Well got the car home and there is oil puddles in my driveway and garage. How does this happen? Changing oil should not be this difficult. Well the so called auto techs failed to put the gasket filter on now I have oil all over my motor as well as my driveway. This is unacceptable. I'm sure there are procedures to assure this doesn't happen. Terrible service to say the least. Now I have to go back to another jiffy lube to get it fixed. Sometime last year I got an oil change from this location thinking everything was good. I took my car to Toyota Dealership for an oil change since they had a deal going on and they said the previous person who did my oil change did not add the cap back into the oil filter housing which Toyota claims could be dangerous without that piece. I had been here several times and never had any issues, but back in February I came in for an oil change and to replace my windshield wipers. The very next day, it downpoured, and as soon as I got in my car one of the wipers broke. Completely broke off. I had to drive my commute home in pouring rain with one working wiper - not to mention I now have a giant scratch across my front window. When I called and explained what happened, whoever I spoke to was extremely rude and unapologetic or sympathetic - cut me off and hung up. I went back to get them replaced but was not greeted by a manager, was not offered any kind refund, and got no acknowledgment about my safety or the scratch. About a month ago, I took my car into an actual auto body shop to investigate why my Check Engine light kept coming on. Come to find out, whoever last changed my air filter (Jiffy Lube) crushed the engine wiring in my car - causing a checklist of related problems I now have to deal with. Do not go here. And if you do, and they mess something up with your car, don't expect them to do anything about fixing it. read more

My oil was changed this morning, I left the keys in the ignition & truck was running. My house & work keys were in the console, with no vehicle key attached. The technician removed my work keys, and upon my departure 30mins later, didn't return them. I didn't think to check & make sure they didn't remove things they should not have been touching, but nobody said anything about it. I drove all the way up to Pasadena, couldn't get into my job. I went in for an oil change on 10/24 and just after leaving I received a text to confirm enrolling in "Fivestars" a "rewards program for local businesses." I was never told my information would be used this way. At 5:53 AM the next day I received a text trying to get me to click a link for a loan. Went to the Jiffy Lube on 7th street in LB, and told them I wanted a regular oil change, they told me I had been previously getting the most expensive synthetic oil change, which is definitely not accurate, and when I asked to get the cheapest conventional oil change he said they didn't have it and then tried to argue me into getting a bunch of other services (that I didn't actually need). The price for a signature basic oil change on their advertised board says $43.99, but they upcharged me $36 for labor cost?? So the name says it, you really are in and out in a jiffy. I would say start to finish took right around 35-40 minutes which I didn't think was bad for a Friday. However, it kind of defeats the purpose when you have to return half an hour later for two things that weren't done or done correctly. First thing I noticed after I had driven off was the little return sticker. I had specifically asked the gentleman that checked me in if they would reset my car's reminder gage to which he assured me they would do. Of course not done. So as I'm fiddling with that, I notice the sticker says I'm to come back when I have driven another 39,000 miles. Ive heard of some special oil used so you'd only have to change it once a year but I really didn't think it was right so I called just to check. Turns out they gave me the wrong sticker, it was to someone else's car. The guy asked if I wanted to come back for a new sticker but I declined because I didn't think it was that necessary. I did say I would come back if I were in the area. As I'm driving around some more, I start checking some other things and notice my tire pressure is at the exact levels it was when I brought my car in. The girl that went over the work, specifically stated that with my tire rotation, my tires were filled to 35 psi. As you can see in my pic, that's not even close to 35. Phone call #2. This time another guy is going to say it "takes time for the pressure to show up in your vehicle and I need to drive around some more." Really? It takes 30+ minutes? I'll be the first to admit I'm not car savvy, that's what I paid them for, but please don't insult me on top of it. Y'all didn't do what you claimed you did and that was it. I was relatively nearby and came back in for that to be taken care of. I got some public relations answer that it's filled to what is stated on your tire, which is 35 btw and then they changed to it's filled to what's stated on the door, which is 33, and that it was "probably" done, but leaked out since yadda yadda. At this point, I'm skeptical if my tires were even rotated but I'm just glad to be out of there and back on my way home and what not. To their credit, the issues were rectified quickly but kinda lame that I had to go back in the first place. What a waste of my time and gas. I guess you always have to beware that what you think you're paying for is actually what you're getting or if you're getting that at all. I might come back to a Jiffy Lube in the future, but I don't think that I would come back to this not so jiffy Lube location. read more

I have been going to another location for years, and on my one visit to this location they tried to upsell me twice. First, they stated that I had been receiving the full synthetic oil, which is the most expensive. I know that I have not once chosen to put that oil in my car and always go with the conventional. Second, they told me that my transmission fluid needed to be changed. I declined the service and took the car to a service garage for a second opinion where I was told that the fluid was completely fine upon testing. Additionally, there were flies all over the waiting room, and since the person working the counter also works the gas station I had to wait for a while to be rung up after I saw the technician bring my keys to the front. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and I think I'll be going to a trusted independent shop from now on. read more

Was greeted by Sandra. Helpful and welcoming. The service manager was super nice and went through everything my car needed, even made small talk about this whole COVID19 pandemic. Super fast service granted a lot of people aren't out and about. I was in and out. Sandra was super thorough with everything in the end when I was checking out and even walked me out to my car. Consumer beware! This is my second visit at this location. My total for an oil change (got the medium priced one) and a cabin filter was $153. Right before I drove away I noticed a car part (looked like a lid, sort of) on my dash board. Odd? I thought, maybe they just forgot to put it back. I waved someone down and Ali (I think that was his name) came to help. It belonged to my cabin filter. When he tried placing it back THE CABIN FILTER WAS NOT THERE. This means, had I NOT noticed this, I would have been driving around with no cabin filter in my vehicle, even though I PAID for it. Ali was apologetic and installed it himself, but honestly, I feel very upset about this entire experience. I plan on taking my business elsewhere for my next oil change. Very disappointed in their service, I have a 2016 stingray, they insisted it takes 10 quarts of oil. I showed him the book, along with the last invoice from the dealer. It indicates takes less than 10 quarts, they insisted upon charging me for 10 quarts, Synthetic, which is correct,correct and the cost of $14.99 per quart. My gut tells me, they we're trying to rip me off. I took the car to another service facility they added7 quarts of oil! They seem very nice, however be careful. read more
