Don't typically leave negative reviews but it needs to be done for this. I went in for a regular oil change and I was happy to see that there was no wait time to be serviced but when the employee approached me he informed me that their system was down and that they would not be able to help me until the next day. I took them for their word and I ended up driving to a different Jiffy Lube location because I really needed the oil change. While at the different Jiffy Lube location one of their service team members informed me that the system at this Devonshire location was in fact not down. Definitely not the way to keep customers coming back. read more

Ok so I really had a bad experience with the Glendale branch on Glendale Blvd. and yes, I left a horrible review because the workers there deleted me completely from their system since I was going to make a complaint so the only jiffy lube history on my record now is from 2017 even though I had been going since 2010 so I won't be deleting my review with the Glendale branch because I still wouldn't go there. Long story with them...But anyways, I came to this branch hoping for a better experience since I moved here 2019 and I must say, so far it's been great experiences. Joe usually is the one that has helped me every time I've went and he's been great! Great customer service, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly...totally changed my perspective on jiffy lube. I have been coming here for 25 years. Not sure what has happened. Came in yesterday and waited a half hour. Then they tell me it's going to be over an hour wait and the machine is broken that rotates tires. I show up today and they said they ran our of regular and synthetic oil. They did exactly what I wanted in a record time so I got in and out of there in a flash. I pulled up for an oil change and they took me right in. They were closing in 30 min so they told me not to go anywhere cause they wanted to go home too.. needless to say, we were on the same page! I sat down for about 15-20 min then they came in called my name, I showed them my coupon, they took it, then 5 min later I was good to go! They got me out in a jiffy, pun intended. Definitely going back, he did try to upsell me on a couple thing but he was cool about not pressuring me to do it. I think his name was Joe or Joey. Asian dude, I think he's Filipino. Don't kill me if I'm wrong. Definitely going back to the same spot. It's down the street from the gym and the car wash. They definetly did not oversell anything. 1) Requested synthetic oil and was provided with blended oil due to not having synthetic oil in stock. 2) Requested to have tires rotated and was told the machine was broken to rotate tires. 3) Requested filter to be changed and was told the filter was not in stock. Came in Saturday morning for an oil change. No line, knowledgeable and courteous staff, everyone wearing masks, fast service. While waiting on the oil change, other staff members washed my windshield, checked the tire pressure, topped off wiper fluid, checked the air filter. Also helped me reset the maintenance indicator and provided a reminder sticker for when oil was changed. Price was reasonable and they accepted a coupon. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. This is a place where great service meets great results. My chariot needed an oil change and fluids checked so I decided to come to this location. The results were phenomenal as Luis made sure that my needs were met. Not only did they change my oil but also checked and made sure all my fluids were on point. They also vacuumed the inside as well as gave me an awesome discount. My chariot was purring when all was said and done. Not sure about all the high reviews. Maybe I came on a bad day at a bad time, but for starters there are only two lanes. There were three people working and they were all working on one car together. After being escorted in there was non existent communication and I waited for 15 minutes without a single word being said to me or service being started. This location is the best jiffy lube I have ever been to, by far! It is very difficult to find a Jiffy Lube with legitimately good people working; too often are they trying to talk me into a new air filter or some other unnecessary up-sell. Over here at the "stay in your car/ drive through Jiffy" off Reseda and Devonshire, the friendly manager, Joe, was very honest with what I did and didn't immediately need for my old car. Moreover, he willingly educated me on things I should watch out for, and even how to check them at home. Joe's helpful attitude showed me that this location's main focus is quality and customer satisfaction! I was a CSUN student with her bumper dangling on the ground. This conveniently located Jiffy Lube was the ONLY auto place open around 7pm on a Monday!! Pulled in the lot and someone greeted me immediately and knew I was going to ask for bumper help. EDDIE was my savior. He helped me zip-tie my bumper and kept a great conversation going with me. He too was a CSUN student and a business major like I! We were actually graduating the same time and lived around LA. He really calmed me down from my bumper panic attack and fixed my car in time for my class to begin! When I asked how much I owed him, he said the service he provided wasn't on the menu.
