This is a very unreliable establishment. I took my vehicle in for an oil and filter change before an upcoming road trip. After arriving I had one of the tires replaced as well. The employees there took care of everything and sent me on my way before calling me back to the location because they forgot to put on one of the hubcaps. That was my first sign something was off. I drove my car home and didn't drive it again until the next day. After two hours my EPC light begins to turn on and the engine light rapidly blinks on and off. I check my engine oil level and see I've already lost a quarter of oil. After pulling over and towing my vehicle to an Audi dealership they come to the conclusion that faulty work done during the oil change led to my engine being trashed. Now my only option is to replace the engine. I head back to Jiffy Lube and they send a quality assurance report to corporate claiming that only they can solve this issue. It's now been a month and I haven't heard from corporate. Save your time, money and vehicle and do not visit this location. read more

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. This is the WORST Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. Went for a simple oil change because my normal mechanic was out of town and I needed to change my oil before going on a long road trip. Customer service was basically non-existent during my appointment but that is not why I am writing this review. The date of my service was 7/15/2022. Fast forward to 9/12/2022. I take my car in to my regular mechanic for an oil change because my light came on even though I had not met my mileage for an oil change. While inspecting my car, he informs me that whoever provided the last oil change service did not put the cap on correctly and there was oil leaking all over the bottom of my car. I had no idea and this is scary to even think about because I have two small children and was driving them around in a fiery disaster waiting to happen. Fast forward to today, 9/22/2022. I decided to call Jiffy Lube on Azalea Ave. to inform them about what my mechanic had found. I thought it would be beneficial for them to know who performed this service so that it could be addressed and would not happen again to someone else. Well, I was wrong. The man I spoke to, Samuel G. (who did perform some of the service on my car according to my service receipt), was the RUDEST, most unprofessional person I have ever talked to. He did not care about what had happened and kept on insisting that I bring my car in to be looked at. I explained to him multiple times that this does not make sense because I already paid my regular mechanic to fix everything, so there was nothing to inspect. I asked him why he didn't want to know who had performed the service and questioned him about why he didn't seem to care. He in turn told me that I DIDN'T CARE because I didn't bring the car back to them to fix the issue. WHY would I bring my car back there for them to fix when I don't trust them at all and they are responsible for what happened? He made absolutely no sense and did not seem to care at all about the poor quality of service provided. I then asked him to speak with my husband and he proceeded to hang up on me. We then called back and my husband basically received the same level of 'customer service' from Samuel G. This man told my husband that he would have corporate call us to talk through this issue but I don't trust this man for a second to follow through on that and decided to leave a review here to warn everyone about this place. This particular Jiffy Lube has put a bad taste in my mouth about all Jiffy Lubes and I will never go to one again. Shame on you Samuel G. and the staff at Jiffy Lube on Azalea Ave.! Customer service IS important and the quality of your work SHOULD be your first priority. If you can't even perform a basic oil change correctly then you should probably rethink your career as a mechanic. read more

My car has been passed down to me through generations, so it's very rusty to say the least. Each time it's gone into the shop for whatever reason, it comes back just decent. This was my first time visiting this location, and I was returned the car in the best condition i've seen it in years. Noises from the car that I believed were just from age are no longer there due to the assistance from the employees helping me to choose the best options for my car. It is really hit or miss with Jiffy Lubes. This is one of the better ones but like the others the waiting rooms are dirty and uncomfortable. As a female car owner I always despise doing ANYTHING car related because it is 100% out of my comfort zone. The staff was friendly and knowledge but did not put me at ease while waiting for my car. But instead kept informing me of things that were wrong with my car which just makes me believe the stereotype. The waiting room was hot, the bathroom was unclean, and they had day time television blaring while we waited. I come to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed since they always perform the service so quickly and I can usually get it done on my lunch break. I will most likely be back since it is convienvet to my office. I don't think I will ever enjoy the experience though. read more

The Jiffy Lube on Azalea has been fast, friendly, and flexible multiple times when I've needed a last minute oil change. Nice waiting room and easygoing staff. Would definitely recommend if you need car service in a hurry. read more

We went to this jiffy lube for a simple oil change. The mechanic came back and said our brakes were shot and now metal on metal and wanted to charge $300 to replace them and rotors. We said no thanks we can do that on our on so went home and got all the parts to replace everything. When everything was pulled off the breaks and rotors were fine. They tried to pull a fast one. Purchased a Groupon that included their Signature Service, Windshield Treatment & Tire Rotation. The service took a little less than 3 hours, they literally abandoned me in the lobby for an hour or more, and once they finally said they were done, there was absolutely no windshield service ( I know this because it rained the next day, and the rain was only repelled by the wipers that belong to my car ) and these fools only rotated half of my tires ( I know this because I have two brands of tires on my car, one on the front, and one on the back. Once I got my car back, the brands were mixed on one side. ) I called the number on the wall (804)364-0570, was told I would hear from the Dist. Mgr, 2 weeks later, still no call. I'm sure I got EXACTLY what I paid for, but NOT what I was sold. Back to the dealer for me. read more

I'm in Richmond for a one day event and my engine light came on but I knew it was an oil issue. I went on the map and picked the Jiffy Lube which had the highest yelp rating in the area. I'm glad I did. Francis was personable and thorough and took the time to explain the diagnostics, unlike every other Jiffy Lube I've ever experienced. Keep doing what you're doing man! read more

Broke dip stick and dirty,low brake fluid (report said it was fine) and did not tell me. Brought it back to get it fixed. Car was returned with dipstick tube looking like shredded peeled back metal, when the agreement was that they would removed the oil pan and take the dipstick out that way. If you go here please check your car before you drive off the lot to make sure they did things correctly. I wish I could include the picture. The only plus I can give them is that they were very nice and pleasant, but that does not help my car. Too much time trying to up sell on things you don't really need and not enough time and attention spent on the reason you are there in the first place. read more

Got in and serviced pretty quickly but $47 for a basic oil change! Had a $10 off coupon so that helped, tried to sell me an air filter and cabin air filters but i said no as I change them my self. Funny he told me I will need new back brakes soon. Just had them changed 4500 miles ago so they are almost new. Watch out for their upsell and don't believe what they tell you you need. Would have given a higher rating except for the price and the brakes recommendation. read more
