Go here only if you need oil topped off - AND NOTHING ELSE! They don't check coolant (even with the light on), don't clean reusable engine filters - I'm supposed to do that - and you have to wait 20 minutes for anyone to show up in the office to even get your car back. I usually do a monthly tire air refills in my hometown in Stockton but I was out of town and saw that there was a Jiffy Lube in Rocklin, so I went and got my tires done. The day after that, the tire pressure icon lit up. The technician who did that was quite young and did not do a good job. Where was the quality control here? As soon as I got home back to Stockton, I redid my tires in my usual Jiffy Lube spot and guess what? It's been almost 2 weeks now, since my visit back in January 2nd, and the sensor didn't go off. Very disappointed and will probably hit a Goodyear, America's Tire, or something. read more

Been coming here for years. Bearded guy (manager) greets me. Scans my Vin # and then asks me for my address? I don't give out my address, none of your business! I ask why, he says company rules. Really? We all spend hundreds of dollars a week on various different items groceries, etc. nobody ever asks for our address because it's none of their business, and who would give it out?? I asked to see a manager he said he was it. He said the rule comes from the bureau of automotive repair which is total BS. I asked him to show that In writing.. I waited 10 to 15 minutes and never came back. I walked in and he said he had to go through 400 pages of documents meaning THERE IS NO SUCH RULE!! In today's day and age with privacy issues they should know better. At least he could've been honest and said they need it for marketing purposes. I still wouldn't have given them my address and gone somewhere else, but at least it would've been an honest answer. While I waited I called their corporate offices to speak to customer service about this idiotic policy. I got some lady on the phone from the Philippines, so I hung up!! So I got in my car went down the street to another oil change place in Rocklin and had it done cheaper with no hassles, no interrogation and NO address. They never asked! Best of all, it including a free car wash inside and out! So in the end it actually worked out very well. Now I know a place where I can get an oil change and a free car wash at the same time for the same price or less than Jiffy Lube! So long Jiffy Lube, I'll NEVER be back. read more

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I needed to have them check everything before my long drive to TN. They made sure everything was working properly and even suggested that I get my spark plugs replaced and it was a good thing I did as they were pretty much done for. I have been here a few times and they have always been very professional and fair. I have always felt like they were helpful and want me to leave there a happy and safe customer. Usually do my own oil changes but decided today I wanted to try jiffy lube. I wanted just a basic oil change and they told me that I had to have penzoil full synthetic and it won't take any other kind. Asked for $80.00 for 3 quarts in a Honda Civic. I laughed and drove off. I went in today for an oil change, I knew my car needed other maintenance as I have neglected it recently! All of the staff were very friendly and you can really see they enjoy each other's company on shift. When they started giving me the run down of what my car needed I told them I'm limited to a $200 budget and cannot go above that. Merit helped me figure out what what most important and how we could save money where needed. She also was awesome in telling me why certain things were necessary and how they worked. It's awesome seeing a female leading in a male driven industry, I definitely can see her moving higher up! She was very knowledgeable. My skid plate was left off my vehicle. I said I could reattach it myself just leave me the hardware. They didn't leave me the hardware and then claimed that it never existed. Didn't offer to make it right or offer me bolts to replace the ones they lost. Fast service, but I suppose it's easy to be fast if you don't finish the job and don't keep track of the hardware that goes with the vehicle. The girl that works there is super friendly though and is the saving grace of the store, in my opinion. Manager is rude and dismissive. Trevor hung up the phone during our conversation to get my bolts back. Seems silly to lose a customer instead of just finding bolts in the first place, but all business is run differently read more

I used to love this place. I have been coming for two years. It used to be awesome. I referred many people. The last few times I had gone, they didn't vacuum my car. No biggies, right? Well today, $33 to fill my oil. No windshield wiper fluid, a foot print on my glove compartment and leaves??? Or something all in my car. Megan was very nice and offered to vacuum my car. my 2000 Toyota tacoma truck was in need of a turn signal light bulb. I went to Jiffy Lube on Stanford Ranch because I go there for their quick oil change. The manager, Travis was beyond kind and professional. I am a senior and very used to being pushed aside and get the eye rolls when I try to explain what the mechanical problem is, for example blinker not working...anyways, I advised me to pull along the side of the building and he would take care of the problem. I did not have to wait in the car for an hour, he was there replacing the light bulb in 5 minutes. Quick repair, fast service and Travis could not have been nicer. Went here around 4pm to get an oil change and all of the gentleman here were so nice! Everyone was working so hard. I got to sit in my car the whole time and it was a pretty cool experience watching them work on the cars. One of the gentleman also taught me a few things about my car! Excellent service guys!! Will be taking my business elsewhere. Service has been deteriorating for some time. On my most recent visit, despite charging for coolant, the coolant was not filled. It should be noted this was an upsell. It is not included in the standard service. In fact, they made a big deal about coming in and telling me my coolant was "practically empty," added it to the bill, then didn't fill it. They also entered the wrong mileage in my record resulting in the wrong mileage being printed on the sticker (wrong by 40K miles). Finally, greasy fingerprints were left on every surface touched (grille, door jamb, glove box). This is just the recap of this visit. Here are issues from previous visits: -I Asked for transfer case service and was told my vehicle didn't have one (it does--and they've serviced it before as noted in their own records). -Left the cabin air filter out. When I noticed it and bought a new one myself, I asked for reimbursement or a credit for next time and they refused. The manager told me there was "no way he could do that." He also even admitted they found the filter sitting there and "wondered whose it was." I was at the very end of the day and it would have been very easy for them to call the last few customers and figure it out, it they'd cared to do so. -Failed to fill the windshield cleaner. When I pointed it out, they said, "Do you want us to fill it?" Um, yes. -Told me I needed to replace air filters that were less than 5,000 miles old and clearly clean and not in need of replacement. Note that these were all separate visits. There's a new Goodyear service center two miles away that I would visit instead. Only been there twice, but so far, so good--faster service, more professional, comparable pricing, and more competent techs. read more

My first oil change without my dad there to tell me what to say/expect. I pulled in with my 2020 Nissan Versa and asked for a conventional oil change (because that's all I knew) and the man who was taking the notes down on the IPad at the bay just said "synthetic or full synthetic." I was confused and asking lots of questions to that of which I just got mumbles that I couldn't understand. I was obviously confused but just went inside to wait. Thankfully, another employee, Mike, came in to where I was sitting and explained what the synthetic oil change was and why my car needed it. I wanted to update my earlier review. I was disappointed that I was turned away at 5:30pm and not allowed to get service but I believed it was a company policy that meant I couldn't use Jiffy Lube. I received a phone call that addressed this with a very blunt and honest answer. I was told this should not have happened as they take vehicles for service up to 6pm. I was given an apology and also offered a complimentary service. I wasn't looking for anything, and this call was a surprise to me. They were very sincere and understanding. I will say my original experience was negative and not one I was happy with, but the response was incredibly positive and makes me want to go back and give them my business. I drove in and was instantly greeted by an employee asking if I wanted to wait in my vehicle for the oil change or sit at the outside waiting area. Given the current COVID situation I opted to remain in my vehicle. I was then greeted by another staff member who took all my information and provided me with an estimate. I was then guided into the vehicle bay and they began the oil change. The entire endeavor took approximately 30 minutes. They don't seem to have good leadership. My car was not being worked on for too long while they were working on other cars. Ok, I want to qualify that I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube for years and they used to be great. I don't know what has happened over the past 6 months but they have changed. I took my daughters car to the location in January to get regular service and the 1st thing I noticed was they have become really aggressive in selling the extra services. I am fine with letting me know what you have but the kicker was they said I needed new brake pads. I had those replaced 1 week before from a place I have used for years in the past who I trust. When I called Jiffy Lube on it they looked like they had been caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Ok so I let I go as a one time thing as it may have one person etc or whatever. I go back today with my fleet car which I have taken there since the beginning of 2017. I let them do all the services they will allow and when it is over. I am told they could not rotate the tires because one of the bolts is stripped. They have been the only ones to rotate my tires, why did they not tell me that the last time I was in. I told the tech and he said nothing except they could not do it. Seriously...you guys screwed it up you should fix it. He then tells me I need new brake pads...sound familiar. I don't know if there is a new owner or they are getting kickers on brakes but com on this is not a coincidence. To top it off, they walk me to my car, don't go over the services they did, they did not show me the new oil and filter, and they did not wash the windows or vacuum the car but on the sheet is says all services completed for a cost of $300.00 That's it I am done. I am going to Big O, Les Schwab, or anyone else with my vehicles....Stay away from this place. read more

I got my oil changed a few weeks ago and I had called back the next day because it sounds like something is tapping like a sticky lifter etc. Whoever answered the phone couldn't give two shits about my issue. Prior to coming into to do this service I did NOT have this issue. I personally checked the oil level and it is ok. Long story short my truck is still making the noise and these con artists will NEVER touch my truck again. If I could have I would have given them 0 stars. My Dad went here as a walk in for an oil change on a Honda Pilot. I come home from work and notice that theres oil drops on the driveway. The tech that worked on the car left the bolt loose now we have oil drops all over both sides of the driveway. They talked him into getting his cabin air filter replaced as well which in my opinion didn't need to be changed (up selling) Won't be coming here again. read more
