My Dad went here as a walk in for an oil change on a Honda Pilot. I come home from work and notice that theres oil drops on the driveway. The tech that worked on the car left the bolt loose now we have oil drops all over both sides of the driveway. They talked him into getting his cabin air filter replaced as well which in my opinion didn't need to be changed (up selling) Won't be coming here again. read more

I had one of my worst experiences ever with this place. I was promised they could change my oil in 30 minutes. Which is even longer than most places when I can usually sit in my car while I get my oil changed. 75 minutes later I was finally out of there. They had the audacity to only offer me a $7 discount on my $65 bill for wasting my entire lunch hour and making me late for work. I saw a gentleman changing the pressure in my tires. I specifically told him not to change it and if he had changed it to reduce the tire pressure down to 32 lb. I just checked it. They're all near 40 lb and not all the same. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years. As a result of my experience at this Jiffy Lube I will never step foot in one of these places again in my life. Seems like I'm not the only female that has been taken advantage of here. Last time I brought my car in the service attendant that helped me out told me that my air filter was dirty and I was out of coolant. I noted the comment and told him I could remedy that myself. I promptly stopped by Autozone and picked up a gallon of coolant for five bucks (I was quoted $5/quart) and upon going to fill my coolant tank I found it was already full! My air filter, while not brand new, was definitely not in need of replacing. Now I know that 15 bucks for coolant and the cost of a new air filter isn't much, but I'm a broke college student. And as a person, I would like to be treated with more respect. I took a survey and told Jiffy Lube how unhappy I was with my experience, but I am making sure to write on Yelp so other ladies do not get scammed. Watch them, watch them, watch them! I used to be a regular at this Jiffy lube until recently. I took my car in for an oil change and came out without my portable GPS system (the of my trip to San Diego!!!!) and a broken key. I never really minded the attempt to up-sell. After all, they are running a business. Since my dad was a Toyota mechanic, I knew all the tricks of the trade and I always knew to say no. What I mind is that the one time I decide to go to get food with my husband, instead of waiting in the area, mayhem breaks loose. My Honda key was broken!!!! Since they broke the piece attached to the programmable key and not the useless half of the plastic cover, I had to get a whole new key. For those of you who have a programmable key, you know those things are not cheap. The Honda dealership parts guys told me they frequently hear about keys being broken when they are clipped to the keyboards when cars/ tires are being serviced. 2 stars off. Although I was annoyed my key was broken, I decided not to make a big deal about it since I had a long car ride to San Diego that day and I didn't want to dampen the mood for our trip. Besides, at this point, I though the key was a $5 fix. well, halfway down the road, we realize my GPS is gone. I should have known better then to leave it out, but, I figured it was a 3 year old GPS system that has resale value of $40 dollars. Who would want to take that? Well, it was taken and replacement value far exceeds the $40 dollars. We had to stop at best buy to purchase a new GPS. 2 stars off My car was serviced and the oil filter was changed and all my liquids were replenished, but at what cost? No wonder Jiffy Lube keeps printing coupons. They can not count on repeat business. After repeatedly been screwed over getting my oil changed at the Toyota dealership -- $60 for a basic oil change!! Insane! -- I decided to switch it up and head to Jiffy Lube. Cue sigh of relief. Not only was I ushered in by a suuuper nice serviceman, but they also walked me through all of my options and services that were needed/coming up. I loved this, because unlike the dealership, they didnt treat me like I was a total idiot girl who winds up paying for more than the service is worth (which...to be honest, I am known for at Toyota. zing). They also threw in a 10% discount for being a new customer - score! The boys literally had me in and out of there in 30 minutes, AND they vacuumed my car (which I appreciated, given the constant crushed up crackers and crayons that frequent the backseat, per my 4 year old). The charges were pretty competitive ($35, plus they gave me a book of coupons to use for my next visit). 3 visits later, and I'm happy to say I'm a converted Jiffy Lube-ian. ...Jiffy Lube-ite? 'Selfish Business' with no care for the ENVIRONMENT It is clearly printed on their website that they accept coolant for disposal and I have disposed coolant in the past at this facility and also gotten some services done. Yesterday when i went their, I encountered an utterly rude service manager called Jason who rudely refused to take coolant. He blamed me that I might be bringing contaminated coolant. When I asked for the Manager's phone number he rudely replied 'Come on Tuesday, he doesn't have a number and he won't listen to any complaints as it's a free service' I suggested that I am ready to pay their usual 2-3 $ fee to dispose the coolant but he walked away. I am never doing a business with such uneducated people who don't care about the environment. Most importantly, the people who have no sense of customer service. Later on I went to Jiffy lube in Folsom and they readily took the coolant for disposal. I don't support such unethical people and would NEVER go to these guys for any service either. read more

This location has been perfect for my needs for many years. Quick service with great customer service. I have had some issues in the past having to do with not getting all of the screws replaced on the plastic shielding under the engine. After the second time it happened, I brought this complaint to cooperate via email. Later that day I received a call from the store manager, Philip, who apologized for the poor service in the past and offered discounts on service to repair the broken relationship. He promised to re-train and notify his technicians not to cut corners and regained this customer's trust. If you have any issues, Philip will be more than willing to make it right and make sure that your satisfaction is a priority. Soooo, this is the 2nd time I have taken my car here. I should have learned from my first bad experience. To be honest, I only came here because with a Yelp check in you get 15% off... which trust me you'll need because their prices are INSANE. NEVER in my life have I paid $80 for an oil change and tire rotation and headlight replacement. Oh, and by the way, while replacing my headlight, they disconnected the passenger side turning signal which my dad had to fix. Also, for the SECOND time, I have left with my car running worse. I am not sure if they do something wonky with the lug nuts, but my tires now feel like they wiggle while driving, when they did NOT before I brought it there. Complimentary window wash and vacuum inside? Does this not include the back of my car? Because that was completely ignored. The staff are robotic and make you feel rushed, no personal customer service what so ever. I was taking a road trip last week and was a little nervous about my 96 Toyota Avalon making the journey, so I took her into Jiffy Lube for an oil change/fluids top off. (It was my first time getting an oil change for my car so I wasn't exactly sure what to do) I parked in a spot and walked in and immediately one of the staff asked if I had been helped. I told him what I needed and apparently even though I was supposed to park somewhere else he offered to move my car for me to the appropriate spot, cool! Free coffee and cold waters in the wait room, I waited about 45 minutes (it was a Saturday and they were pretty busy). Then a gentleman took me to one of the computers, let me know all the work he did to my car and went over options and suggestions without making me feel stupid (since I know nothing about cars). (bought one at wal mart for 10 bucks) He then told me "Maam-you could break your fingernail doing it and IF you Could buy an air filter for much less then I must let him know. I said why would I let you know, are you so naive that you think Jiffylube gives people a super deal on air filters?- what is the point? Always go here to get my oil change, and say no to all the up selling of course. I have a used car so I don't know how old everything is/needs to be replaced. After failing at getting me to pay more for the extras they tell me one of the belts is cracked. I told them I wanted the belt after they replace it (for $100). My first mistake was believing them (even though I've never replaced the belts and it has a ton of miles on it) Second mistake was not looking at the belt first. After the damage is done, I look at the belt when I get home and what to I find? The "old" belt is in perfect condition. So I will be even more wary than I already am, and will be going somewhere else next time. Sucks that people are so dishonest these days. read more

I have visited this location a couple of times before and was satisfied with the professionalism and quality of customer service from the staff. However, this visit made me think otherwise. Being friendly to your customers is ok, but having long conversations with them, especially when you have other customers waiting in line, is rude. As I was waiting in line to check-out my vehicle, a staff member, a customer being helped by the staff member, and a customer in the lobby were having personal conversations about skin-care products. I waited in line, very patiently, so I can pay for the provided service and pick-up my car. Finally, when the employee escorted the customer out to their finished vehicle, the employee who had been communicating with me about my vehicle being serviced, acknowledged that I was waiting to be helped and decided to help me check-out. He briefly explained the service worked on my vehicle and accepted my Yelp check-in discount. I appreciate his professionalism and customer service. As he walked me out to my car, I noticed the other employee and the customer chatting it up about something irrelevant. It bothers me that the quality of customer service isn't at its best. Not many people are focused on their job and not many provide great quality customer service. So, I want to thank Nai for being very professional and providing satisfying quality customer service. Also, thanks to the other gentlemen who worked on my vehicle that evening. I'm not quite sure if I would come back here. The oil change was completed promptly. However, when I went to pay I asked for a breakdown of the charges above the $99.99 which was the starting point for the oil change. I was charged for the extra oil that was above the 5 quarts included in the price. This was expected. They also charged me an extra $10 for a premium filter. I told them I didn't request a premium filter and was told I should have beed asked before they installed it. That charge was removed from my bill. I'd be curious how often this happens and goes unnoticed by the customer. read more

I have gone to this location for years and even wrote a positive review not too long ago. Well enough is enough. First they would let you bring your own oil and filter, then no, then yes again. Now not only is it no, but they don't even carry the oil for my car, a 2016 Mini, not a Ferrari. So I pull up and the young man that came out to greet me was like Eyore. I think he just woke up. Not the face of customer service. I think he told me to stay in my car, not sure. Then the next guy comes to check me in and says "looks like we have changed your oil before, but now we don't carry the oil". I said "so let me get this straight, you won't let me bring my own, the right oil, but you don't even carry the oil?......for a mini? He literally walked away without saying a word. I brought in my Audi A4 while on a road trip. There were places I could walk to in the area so I could stay busy while they changed my oil. I did some banking then went to the Mexican restaurant for a margarita and charged my phone. With air filter blah, blah, blah it would've been pretty expensive, but I just got the bare bones so I could have my mechanic at home see it later. Do not trust jiffy lube.. these half witted morons put my air cleaner box back incorrectly which resulted in internal engine damage. I informed management and they were quick to dismiss their liability blaming it on the wrong air cleaner filter(which I assure u it's not) I took my issue up with the bureau of automotive repair. The result was they found jiffy lube liable for replacing my $18,000 performance engine. Jiffy lubes response was to tell the investigator to tell me to sue them.. don't trust jiffy lube. If they F up ur car they will tell u to sue them.. liability was absolutely jiffy lubes according to the BAR investigator assigned to my case yet they told me to sue them..NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE WILL I PATRONIZE JIFFY LUBE.. Waited 42 minutes to get car checked in. Work was then done and we were at the counter paying about 5 minutes later? Weird. Also they asked if we wanted fuel system clean. I asked if it was on the Kia Soul service schedule they said yes, that it highly recommended. I asked again if it was on the Kia Soul manufactures car service schedule, yes or no. They said well no but it is highly recommended by some auto asso. Also tried sticking us with something else not approved by the manufacturer. And missed recommending the 35k stuff that should have been done like coolant fluid change, CCV filter change, and a few other things. But I figure if they don't have it together enough to know the maintenance schedule for my car I'll just let them change the oil and take it somewhere else for the scheduled maintenance work. read more

I have gone here for years, but over the last 48 hours over two trips I was scammed into $810.00 worth of repairs that DID NOT FIX the problem for which I brought it in for. The car was overheating. They told me they could fix it, and with that knowledge I went ahead accepted them doing THE OTHER services they recommended. This came to $510.00 and at first I was like, WTH? But ... being frustrated and needing my car I agreed and asked them to fix it. At the end of the day after the $510.00 of work they said that it was not fixed and that they NOTICED that the upper and lower radiator hoses were leaking, and that they thermostat housing was leaking. I asked why didn't you fix it? I reminded them that this was THE REASON why I brought the car in. They told me to bring it in the next day, that they could get the parts and it would be resolved. I did bring it back, and after $300.00 spent on parts and repairs... they still could not FIX IT. They then told me to take the car to their Rancho Cordova shop for more advanced work. NO THANK YOU. Today I am down the street at the *Five Star Auto Center* in Rocklin where after leaving my car overnight their mechanic has addressed *everything*. He found and fixed every problem in my car even lingering issues that have gone un-repairable by the *Autowest Dodge Service Center* Right! Even DODGE's mechanic's could not (would not) give me straight answers over the last two years for the CODES and LIGHTS that came on in my car. *Five Star Auto Center* in Rocklin has fixed my car and numerous other problems for the same price that JIFFY LUBE charged me to NOT FIX my car. I was told that I should never have taken my car to Jiffy Lube for a repair, period. I was told that they are for Oil Changes and light bulb replacements, only. LESSON LEARNED. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. And remember, I am a regular repeat visit customer to this Jiffy Lube center and I can PROVE IT. They know me. $1700.00 was spent when I should have only spent $900.00 at a real mechanic's shop. $810.00 WASTED. I WAS SCAMMED. read more

Took my Jeep Cherokee here on Thursday and was very impressed with the service. Travis Jennings is polite, professional and made me feel valued as a customer. The service was fast and thorough which gave me peace of mind since our family is headed camping this weekend and we wanted to make sure our Jeep was ready to go! The cashier gave my kids "Mushems" which made my daughter very happy. She also walked us to our vehicle and buckled my daughter into her seat. Where else do you get this kind of service?? I work right next door and simply like to drop my vehicle off and return later to pick it up. I explain what I wanted to do, yet they still made me wait for 15 min before they checked me in. This was my first time here. I was the third person in line for the day. Bright and early! The customer service rep's name was "Merit". She was a pleasant and polite person with great energy. The owners of this establishment made a great decision when they hired her. She advised that I should set the service reminder in my vehicle, then showed me how to do it. She also notified me about my missing skid plate and mentioned my engine oil was over filled prior to service. I knew it was true because I heard Chris, the hood technician mention the same thing to another technician. Chris also provided great customer service by informing me about the nitrogen in my tires and asked about my preference with the level of tire air, then checked the recommended tire pressure needed for my vehicle and informed me about how tire nitrogen and air levels are affected while driving in various elevations. This location provided the best oil change experience I have had in the Rocklin, Roseville, and Sacramento area. Simple and seamless process. read more

I had a previous problem here. They changed the oil in my truck. The rep ran through the checklist of items they had checked and oked. I knew my wipers were shredded and showed them that they must not have checked. She yelled at someone and I took my car away. I sent an email to corporate and was contacted by the local manager. He apologized and sent me a coupon for $50. I took my wife's car in for an oil service. Everything seemed fine. Fast forward to today. I was checking for her next service. The Jiffy Lube sticker on the inside of the windshield said that I should get a service at about 111,700 miles. My wife's car only has 63,300 miles on it. As before, I worry what part of the service will be the next mistake. I think I'm done. read more

If you look at my historical reviews, I've been burned by another Jiffy Lube in the past. But this is Rocklin's Jiffy Lube, and Rocklin isn't exactly East Oakland. That difference results in friendly service and a generally great experience. Weird thing--the service included a fixed amount of synthetic oil, half of which my little car didn't need. On the upside, they just gave me the bottles of surplus, and my next change will be dirt-cheap, as it'll basically be just labor costs. Seems convoluted, but whatever, they were great, and I'll probably be back regularly. read more
