3 Stars seems accurate. I usually go to Oil Changers but saw discounted gift cards at Costco so decided to try them along with a coupon in the mail. They are more expensive than Oil Changers (153.00 was my bill!!!, before discounts thats pricey) so in the end didnt really save any money. I was lucky with no wait so it was fast that was great but they didn't perform any of the other services advertised). No tire pressure check, no windshield cleaning, no lights check, no fluids check, didnt check the maintenance schedule to offer any other services etc...Oil Changers does all that every time I go. I was driving to Costco for gas and heard a terrible sound when I braked! I drove right into Jiffy Lube and the guys were AWESOME!! Put me at ease immediately, checked my car immediately, changed my brake pads in less than an hour and had this nervous mama with no car experience back to work in no time! They even offered to drive me to and from work if they were not able to finish by the end of my lunch break! True gentlemen!! So very grateful for their calm and efficiency and INCREDIBLE service!! No longer do they lure you in with their $27.99 price, because they can't offer that any longer. I pay over $120 for 5 quarts of synthetic oil...ouch! Why do I go here then? * They have online coupons (like 15% off) * They are fair about suggesting what else they find and can charge for * They are open 7 days a week. Sweet! No need for an appointment. * Depending their workload, they turn your car around in less than an hour. Perhaps the best thing about choosing a Jiffy Lube is that there are so many of them around the country. In between oil changes, if you ever need your tires checked/filled, water for your wipers filled, a little oil -- they'll fill'er up for freeeeeeee. I must say I rarely leave a review unless its either really bad or really good service. So in this case its all good. Shout out to Antonio and his crew for the great service. I took my car here to get brakes and oil done. At other places you'd need an appointment but they took me in on a Saturday morning early and turned it around by 12. You should definitely plan on waiting if its busy and be sure to come early to beat the line up. But if you know what you need to do to keep your car maintained go here. read more

Unless you want to throw away money, you may want to look elsewhere. These guys are total scammers. They'll look at your brakes with the tires on and say "yeah, you need a brake change." And when they charge you for service, check the labor costs. They often times include additional and excessive labor. They charged me $600 for a $300 brake change. How do I know I was overcharged? When I called after to ask for a quote, they quoted me $300. When I asked why I was charge $600, they made up some excuse like "it's normally costs that much, but I decided not to charge you for it in my quote." read more

First of all, I sincerely don't agree with the overall Yelp! rating... I wanted to have my 90k service plus brakes done, but didn't want to pay the $1,000+ dealership price. I called ahead and there was no wait so I turned my car in. I was pleasantly greeted by Justin and he made some sound recommendations for my vehicle, then mentioned his manager could give me a quote inside, and asked if he could open my door for me. My wheel lock key was in my trunk and they asked for permission to open my trunk to retrieve it. Definitely a great first impression that they respect their customers, and I immediately felt like I made the right decision coming to Jiffy Lube. I expressed that I needed my car back by a certain time to pick up my daughter, so Adrian (the manager) had all hands on deck so I could have my car back on time. Adrian also let me know which fluids and brakes on my car were still OK and didn't need servicing - definitely shows honesty and integrity. The service lasted a little longer than I anticipated, however the team communicated their status so I wasn't upset at all. It was a rainy, cold day, and the Jiffy Lube team was very professional and gave service with a smile, given the elements. There's truly a vibe that this team loves what they do and are happy. Quick and friendly staff. Antonio helped us from start to finish and checked in every step of the way. Not sure if the previous people leaving reviews know how these services work. Your lack of knowledge on how this place runs doesn't mean you should leave a bad review. The workers are constantly working in the bay and are alerted when you pull in the back and run over the little thing in the road that rings the bell. Went in for an oil change. Everything went great. They offered to rotate my tires, change my engine air filter, and change my cabin air filter. I wasn't sure so they showed me how dirty the air filters were. In my case I decided not to change them, but it was really nice to see. Also, I said yes to rotate my tires. They quoted me. They ended finding something wrong so they took it off the quote, no questions. Lastly, they found one of my cooling caps was broken. They had one delivered and fixed it cheap. Overall great service. Really happy with the oil change and cap replacement. They kept me up to date and was thorough from the very start. read more

I'm not sure they even changed my oil. They did not put a new sticker in the window indicating my next service, did not check tire pressure, did not vacuum car, did a pitiful attempt at wiping the windows. They indicate they checked other fluids, but the other services were so poorly performed, who can trust what was stated. They did not reset my car indicator for maintenance. They did give a $16.00 discount. However, the service was so terrible, it should have been free. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Fast service, affordable, overall great. I will say that if you are using yelp reviews as a basis to go here or not, try to keep in mind that people tend to leave reviews after negative experiences than positive ones. Yes, sometimes the experience will not be ideal, but overall this is a great store. Definitely recommend getting an A/C evacuation/recharge here. Almost made my A/C too cold. And its cheap. Also, the people saying that the workers there are unqualified, the training is actually pretty good (I've worked for jiffy lube). It's not just "here's a job now go drain oil". Arrived in the morning just after a few other cars had arrived. Pros: 1. Did not try to upsell. 2. Accepted the coupons without complaint. 3. Antonio was helpful and listened to my concerns about loose oil filters and missing oil caps. Both of which caused me problems in the past at other oil change places. Cons: 1. Despite staff of 4 and 3 bays working it took over an hour with 2 cars in front of me. Staff all seemed busy, but not sure if they were really working. 2. My experience was like Nancy's review. I arrived. Parked out front and walked in to find worker sitting in lobby on a chair. Wasn't sure if he was a customer. Then he said if you want service pull around to the back. I did so and advised I was there for brake fluid change. I said I had a quote and was told on phone no appointment needed. Just drive in first come first served. So I arrive and they tell me since the manager is not there today they could not do the requested service. Took my car here for an oil change and had excellent service. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Xavier took good care of us and was very nice. PROS -Xavier went over each item on my car to let me know everything was in order. Thorough job here -They didn't make me feel pressured to buy anything -Friendly staff -Comfy waiting area with Keurig coffee -Love how they offer extra service (extra charge) to clean your headlights! There's nothing like a first impression! I pulled up to Jiffy Lube for my first time ever to get two services done. I saw two employees off the side of the building just chatting. I walked inside the office and there was no one inside!? I was in there about five minutes and finally I had to come out and call for them to come and help me! Someone with a name tag of Jason was vague about the price of the services and told me that the prices that are on the wall are not current! I suggested they have the manager take care of that because that's misleading to the customer. I go to a nearby mechanic shop that is a five star, and I went to Jiffy Lube today just to get a basic services done that would be much less expensive than going to the shop. Well, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! They were unprofessional when my car was ready. I walked over to the car and the window was down in the door is wide open and the guys are standing at the side of the building again smoking! Terribly allergic to cigarettes smoke, and that smell was in my car and I called them on it! No apologies! Total disrespect for me and my vehicle! And they had dirty mechanic hands all over my door handle. They did not make me feel welcome, and they did not make me feel comfortable and secure with what they were doing. I'd rather pay the price and stick with the shop that really communicates with me and acknowledges me when I arrive, etc. I will never return to Jiffy Lube. read more

So I went to this jiffy lube a few months back and it was the service manager who completed my oil change just to make sure I didn't get bad service he offered it. Did a awesome job made sure skid plate was on correctly too. I call this morning and ask for the same guy that service my vehicle and an Antonio picks up the phone really rude after I ask for that manager let me know he no longer works there. It's the fact he was rude about it not " I can help you and my service might be better"but just completely rude. They are really nice at this location! I had initially gone for an oil change at this location and the employee added a coupon code on his own. I guess they didn't reset the oil light properly, so I went back today. The employee today was also really nice about topping off my fluids, and checking my tires too and got the tail light change done quickly. I wish I had gotten their names! I highly recommend this location! I don't feel the same condescending feeling I get when I go elsewhere and they are trying to swindle me out of money for random confusing services. Got an oil change here, my boyfriend had done oil changes on the car the last 4 or 5 times since we've had the car and there was no problem but we were in a hurry to get one done and decided to come here. That was the first mistake, the price was definitely not worth the service. On top of that, the car was not put together properly? The metal piece is supposed to go above the plastic but it was placed underneath and as we drove away it fell and was scraping the ground. Went back and the one younger employee apologized, but no apology or remorse from the manager. It was a simple mistake but we were confused how this could've been done. As I said we were in a hurry so this was just a bit ridiculous. Prefer oil changers everyday. Why can't customers stay in there cars? We have to go in a crowded waiting area with no seats available. Going to recommend our company changes their fleet management to oil changers. Jiffy Lube is asking to get everyone sick when they try to get 10 people in a waiting room. 0 stars in my book. I preferred there service during covid precautions over this joke. Adding to this that I did ask if we could stay in the car and was told no but that yes customers did like this better. So then why would you change it? And they have no precautions when the drivers are getting in the vehicles to keep them clean. When you go to a dealership they cover everything in plastic. Oil changes normally take about 10-15 minutes with the car owner still in the car. It usually feels like a drive thru, and everything is great. However, I unfortunately had the opposite experience. I averaged about a 2+ hour wait time, and they didn't have the oil that I normally use in my car, which have been available at all the other Jiffy Lube locations and oil changing locations I've been to before. This oil isn't that uncommon... Anyway, the worker was apologetic, great. I don't think they checked the dipstick at the end as I was watching the entire time. I'm hoping for better luck at other places that are a tad faster and that have the oil I prefer for my car. read more

The first time I had an issue was when I brought my Honda Odyssey in. Agreed to have air filter changed. After leaving I realized they never put a new one in, leaving it empty. Tonight, I noticed oil in my driveway. Not just a little but a lot. I had brought my Mitsubishi in last week to get the oil changed. When I checked the oil level it was near empty. The screw was loose, allowing oil to freely flow from underneath. I was willing to give them a pass on the first mistake but this is unacceptable. Oil changes are what they are known for. I very well could have had the engine seize due to their incompetence. I just read the reviews and this has happened to other customers also showing photos. read more

Totally disapointed! Went for an oil change on 11/28/23 and told the gentleman checking me in that I recently repaired a leaking transmission and that my fluid was low in transmission fluid and he ensured me that they would check that. 118$ and 20 minutes later the invoice read Transmission fluid "okay", that's impossible I checked it myself and I know it was low! I asked them to check it again while I watched and it indeed was low! WTF?? Upon further inspection the power steering fluid was also low but invoice said level was "okay" and you could see by dust on cap that no one even touched the cap!! We have a small business here in Danville and have brought our fleet of 6 vehicles here for 5+ years, unfortunately not anymore! I asked for power steering fluid top off and was told they didn't carry it. WHAT? I voiced my dissatisfaction and frustration and the manager responded with " sorry to hear that". If your reading this I would consider using another service center for oil changes as we are. We deserve better for our hard earned $. read more

Awful. Will never come back. I just moved from LA where I went to Valvoline regularly and thought it would be a similar experience. It wasn't even close! When I arrived there were 3 service spots and 4 cars (one waiting to be serviced). I was told that the car in front of me had 5 minutes left (ended up being 20) and the person that welcomed me told me that it would take 15-20 minutes -- it took an hour and 15 minutes. Service was awful. I felt no confidence in the people servicing my car. The person that greeted me was also working on the car next to me. He was trying to change an air filter and sat in the same spot for 20 minutes straight - doing nothing - until a colleague asked if he needed help. (Overhearing them, he didn't unscrew a screw and couldn't access the filter). Benefit of the doubt, he was a trainee, but gave me zero confidence in his ability to service my car or give input. Earlier, he also asked what kind of oil I wanted. After struggling to help me understand why I should go with synth or synth blend (which I felt no confidence with his response) another tech told me that they ran out of synth blend and they had to do a different one but wouldn't explain why it would be the exact same cost for a dif oil. It felt shady and I don't know if I left with a better or worse oil paying the same. Also... ran out of a synth blend..? At 11 am...? At a place that specializes in oil changes...? What is that? The other tech that serviced my car told me I needed 4 lights changed. He told me that he would do buy 3 get one free so I agreed and was thankful! He then tried to change the last bulb and he said he couldn't do it without having to open something in my car that he couldn't access (or didn't want to?) so he recommended I do it elsewhere. When I asked about the discount he said, "Well I was gonna give you one free anyway so now it's the same cost." He did not honor any kind of discount on the other bulbs. I would not have done the service if it was full price. Shady! After an hour of waiting on an extremely slow day, my tech told me he just needed to check my tires and then I could go. He checked my tires and then he decided to work on another car for 15 more minutes instead of getting me out when I was done. Benefit of the doubt - he was trying to help the other guy that was doing nothing, but again, techs were not using time well and instilled zero confidence in me in their ability to do a quick and simple service. When I went to pay he told me I had a slight oil leak and a slight transmission leak and to get it done somewhere else. Normally I would ask about why he wouldn't have let me know when they discovered it or how to take care of it, but at that point, I wanted to leave and I knew I would never come back. An hour and 15 minute oil change? You are better off dropping off your car somewhere else and waiting the same amount of time than this drive through jiffy lube. Awful experience. read more

However, they seem to be a bit understaffed, as there were quite a few cars lined up and everything was a little hectic; my oil change took a bit longer than expected. Not a bad experience whatsoever, though. The waiting area is air conditioned and has seats and a TV. Coffee, water, and the restroom don't seem to be available right now. Jack really took care of me and my automobile babies this morning! Great service and, most importantly, customer care! He thoroughly walked me through what type of oil my cars needed and the pros/cons of all my options. Didn't feel any upselling or pressure to get the most costly options. Felt so impressed by my first experience with Jack, that I brought my second car right afterwards as well. I always get my oil changes at a Jiffy Lube, but my experiences have been mixed. The staff: always friendly, 5 stars for them The oil change: I was notified this past oil change that I've been getting non-synthetic oil during my past 3 oil changes, EVEN THOUGH MY CAR REQUIRES SYNTHETIC OIL AND IVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD THATS WHAT IM GETTING. This infuriated me. Used to be 4 stars, now 2 stars at best since they at least told me this time. The upselling: it's annoying because I always get told I need services that I likely don't. It is helpful to be able to get windshield wipers and new air filters there, but that's it. 3 stars at best for usefulness. General service: it's usually quick (an hour or less) and the staff are always amazing. They fill tires for free, so that's pretty cool too. 5 stars there. So... Go here if you need an oil change and don't know anyone else in town, but I wouldn't recommend them if your car has special needs or if you get upsold too easily. read more
